Legacy Of Forgotten Times - Chapter 211 Do you like them big or small?
The more he thought about his recent findings the more his head started to hurt. Couldn’t he just take a break? It hasn’t even been a full day ever since he returned to Autumnfall but everything started to pile up again.
He missed staying with Lyra and just lazing around reading a book in his room. There he didn’t need to think about anything. He only needed to read his books and study the supernatural. Lyra would take care of the rest.
This sort of life with too many mysteries was really bad for his liver. Despite his regenerative abilities, he was afraid that his liver was getting smaller.
Ugh, just push all this to future Linri. He was bound to figure something out eventually. For now, let’s do something else. Like maybe trying to find Drake. Yeah, that sounded like a good idea. But where to start?
As Linri was thinking too deeply he didn’t notice the person sneaking behind him. It couldn’t exactly be called sneaking as the person had no intention to hide but you get the point.
*Poke*
“Jesus Christ!”
“Who?”
“Nothing,” said Linri and turned around.
Mary Ann was standing in front of him with her now trademarked ponytail. She had big eyes like a curious child and those eyes were now looking at him.
“I need your help,” said Mary Ann.
“For what?”
“How to make friends”
Linri raised his eyebrows. What did this have anything to do with him? If you want friends just go and talk to some random soul out there.
“And you came to me because?”
“Because you helped me become friends with Brie”
“And?”
“Help me make another friend”
“…”
“…”
“…”
“…”
“*Sigh* Who do you want to be friends with this time?” Linri said after sighing.
“I don’t know”
“You don’t know?”
“Yes, I don’t know”
“…”
“…”
“Then why do you want to make friends suddenly?”
“Brie told me that I shouldn’t smother her so much and make new friends”
“And that is why you are here”
“Yes”
“…”
“…”
Linri’s liver was hurting so bad right now. Just what kind of weirdoes even attend this school. How was he even supposed to find someone that would be friends with her? Wait!
“How about you become friends with me then?” Linri said and flashed her a smile.
“…” Mary Ann looked at Linri from head to toe and then shook her head.
“Well excuse me for not conforming to your standards of a friend then!” said Linri as the corners of his mouth twitched.
“…”
“Stop looking at me like that,” said Linri in an annoyed manner.
Then Mary Ann closed her eyes and didn’t open them.
“…”
“… What are you doing?”
“You told me to stop looking at you,” said Mary Ann.
Yes, after today he was definitely going to develop liver disease.
“Stop, stop! You can look at me. If I am not eligible what kind of a friend you want?” asked Linri.
“I don’t know, just not you”
“…”
*Breathes in deeply*
Look here you little demon! Just because he was a gentleman didn’t mean he was a good guy. Don’t think that he wouldn’t kill you just because you were a mythical demon.
“Fine, let’s start simple. Do you want your new friend’s gender to be a girl or a boy”
“A girl”
“That’s good. Now, do you like them big or small?”
“Big or small?” said Mary Ann and tilted her head to the side.
“Just answer the damn question!”
“Big”
“Okay, good! Follow me, I know just the person” said Linri and was about to walk back inside the infirmary when he felt someone grab his tail.
He turned around to see it was Mary and looked at her with questioning eyes.
“It was fluffy”
“…Let go or I won’t help you” said Linri while trying to keep his anger in check.
As a handsome male he wanted to be called dashing, cool, ikemen or anything of the sort but fluffy definitely wasn’t included in that list.
“Okay,” said Mary and let go of his tail.
Now that he was free Linri immediately used the minor illusion spell Lyra taught her. He didn’t want people to keep grabbing his ears or tails.
After that, he walked inside the infirmary. The nurses immediately got ready to receive the patient but when they noticed it was just Linri they returned back to what they were doing.
“It’s you?” asked Hina.
What do you mean it was him? Did you not expect him to come here? Or did you expect him to bring another patient? Maybe you were expecting him to die, is that it?
“Yes Ms. Hina, it’s me. I wanted to visit a couple of friends”
“Why are you asking me do I look like a nurse?”
“Technically you are the school nurse”
“Don’t get clever with me,” said Hina after rolling her eyes.
“If I am not going to ask you, who should I ask then?”
Hina looked around the room and then found her target.
“Robin! Stop dawdling around and come here to help this student” Hina screamed at one of the nurses before taking her leave.
A black-haired nurse walked towards them like a zombie. The bags under her eyes were so black that you might have mistaken her for a panda.
“What do you want?” she asked through her teeth. It felt like even talking to him was a bother and not worth her time.
Just why the hell people treated him like shit today!? Do you really find it that bothersome to answer a few questions!?
“I wanted to see my friends who were injured-” Robin handed Linri a clipboard before he was even finished and returned back to where she was before.
… Yep, someone was going to die today and it definitely was not going to be just Leon.
He looked at the clipboard and saw that it was a chart showing where every student here was staying. Well, at least he got what he wanted but it still did not excuse her behaviour! He was paying her salary so she definitely didn’t have the right to treat him like this… Actually scratch what he just thought. He was a douche bag but he wasn’t that kind of a douche bag..
