Legend of Shi’En - C33
Shi En had a dream.
A group of eleven or twelve year old youngsters were standing outside the private school, waiting for someone to come back. Before long, a figure slowly appeared on the way back to the private school. A cold wind brushed against the children’s cheeks, causing their faces to turn red in an instant.
“Sir is back, sir is back.”
“A group of people came to the private school today and invited the teacher who was in the middle of his class out without a word.”
“Yes, I was so frightened that I thought you had done something.”
The youths of the private school were all fearfully guarding the door as they waited for their teacher to return. Only a sloppy teenager cut him off and went back into the house with his nose dug out. Once inside, he ran to the kitchen, put the cold food back in the pot to warm it up, and went to boil the bath water he would need later. After finishing all the work, he came to the door resentfully.
“Sir, you’re finally back.” A teenager with a ponytail hugged the gentleman.
The teenager raised his head and glanced at his teacher. Suddenly, he felt that his teacher was a bit different today. It seemed like … His voice was softer than before, gentler than before, and he sounded like he was joking. If it wasn’t for the pungent smell emitted from his body, he would have thought that the person in front of him had been moved.
“Durian, can you stay away from me? I’m going to die from that smell of durian on your body. ” The youth no longer gouged his nose. He pinched his nose with one hand and desperately fanned himself with the other to disperse the incoming durian aura.
“As far as you are concerned, they call me mister. Yet, why don’t you give me the name of durian? Every day, durian durian calls me durian, and I really like eating durian.” Under the bright light of the lantern, the nose-digging youth finally saw clearly the difference between his teacher and others: his eyes were even more blurry than usual, and his fair skin had a very obvious flush.
He drank.
“Durian, did you drink?” the nose-digging youth asked with a frown.
“Mm …” Yes, some of our former colleagues have come to entertain us with hospitality. The teacher didn’t drink much, so Yoda, take the other children and go to bed! Teacher is also tired, so I have to go take a rest! ” With the same gentle tone, the teacher gently pushed the two students’ backs with his hands and instructed the teenager who was digging out their noses.
“Then Mister, you need to rest well. Shi En has already boiled the bath water, after you shower, you need to rest well!” The youngster with the ponytail was relieved to see that his teacher was just drinking too much. He pulled his teacher’s hand and said coquettishly.
“Good night, teacher.” The other students said good night and left.
A Little Youth without front teeth and with a buzz cut stared at Mister closely, feeling that something was amiss.
In the middle of the night, the teenager named Yida was rolling in bed, unable to fall asleep. He remembered someone saying before that the best way to treat sleeplessness was to let him get tired. He could only get up and fetch a bucket of water, preparing to clean up the training field that was going to be used tomorrow.
The youth from Yoda carried the water to the practice field. Suddenly, he heard the sound of someone practicing with the sword. He held his breath and peeked out his head. In the training field, he saw a mister holding a wooden sword dancing in the air. The wooden sword in his hand was like a white snake spitting out its tongue, carrying a whizzing wind as it moved through the four bodies like a dragon. At times, Teacher Xu was as light as a swallow, and when he tapped the sword, he rose up. At other times he was as sudden as lightning, and the fallen leaves began to fall.
After the dance was over, Teacher Ji elegantly placed the wooden sword back into its scabbard. Then, he elegantly raised his hand and opened the door. The moonlight shone in, illuminating his delicate and feminine face.
“Come in.” The Mister opened his gentle eyes and looked at Yida, who was hiding outside the door, with a funny look, “I thought I was the only one who couldn’t fall asleep after a long night of sleep. Zhang Yida, you can’t fall asleep either.”
The Yida youth shivered, “Durian, you’re acting a little strange today. I don’t really understand what you’re saying.”
The teacher raised his eyebrows and said, “Everyone else, come in as well. It’s going to snow outside. Don’t get cold.”
After a commotion, two figures sprang out of the grass. One wore a ponytail, while the other had a buzz cut.
“It’s all your fault, Ji Gang. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have noticed.”
“Little brat Jie Jin, if you say another word, I’ll beat you up if you don’t believe me.”
Mister shook his head helplessly and walked outside. He carried them into the training field with one hand each holding his waist.
Mister gave the three guys a light punch on the head. He laughed softly and said, “You three, Mister is the one that I’m worried about the most.”
He raised his head to look at the sky which was covered by dark clouds. With a voice as gentle as water, he said, “How beautiful is the sky, but who would have thought that it would bring such a great calamity to the Great Ming Dynasty. The ‘External Devil’ are powerful, and the armies at the frontlines suffered defeat after defeat.
The youngster with the ponytail brought a cup of hot tea to his teacher with great care. His teacher took a sip of the hot tea and smiled as he thanked him. “I’ll have to trouble you to give me the money.”
The one called Jie Jin was a very cute kid with long black hair and a ponytail. His eyes were bright and full of life. His pink and tender bun face gave him the appearance of a scholar. He stood by the side of his teacher, staring at him with his bright eyes: “Sir, why did the External Devil invade us?”
He paused for a moment, then stretched out his hand to ruffle Jie Jin’s long, soft black hair. “Because we’re not strong enough.”
The short-haired boy said fiercely: “Sir, just you wait, in two years, I will definitely go to the battlefield and blast out all the ‘External Devil’.”
The mister smiled and said, “Sure, mister will wait to see you on the battlefield to kill the enemy and build your career. If mister has knowledge in the future, you will be very pleased.”
Hearing these words, the three of them felt that something was wrong. Yoda rubbed his nose and said somewhat unhappily, “Hey, durian, you’re only thirty years old this year at most, as the saying goes, good people don’t live long, and disasters come down in a thousand years. You have at least ten more years to live, what do you know about the underworld?”
Jie Jin pouted and muttered: “Really! “How can you say that about yourself, sir?”
The buzz cut young man named Ji Gang had an angry look on his face, “Humph, what are you saying, do you look down on me?”
Mister raised his hand and scratched his head in embarrassment: “I’m sorry, mister didn’t look down on you. Alright, count me as mister saying the wrong things, punishing yourself three times for slapping.” As he spoke, he slapped his hand over his mouth. Suddenly, he pricked up his ears as he heard someone knocking on the door of the private school. He led the three children to open the door, and saw a newborn baby abandoned in front of the stone lion at the private school door, its body already covered with a thin layer of snow.
Mister quickly picked up the abandoned baby, swept away the snow on his body, he looked around and found that the abandoned people were long gone.
“Is it a boy or a girl?” Jie Jin muttered as he secretly tugged on Mister’s sleeve.
“It’s a baby boy, but we found out earlier.” The gentleman bent down and said to Ida in a very gentle voice, “I’ll leave the child with you.”
“Hey hey, what right do you have to be me? I’m not a wet nurse. I know I don’t like kids. ” The boy said this, but his hand was very sincere as he took the abandoned baby. He pretended to be disdainful, “Speaking of which, this child doesn’t have anything on him. How do we give him a name?” Suddenly, he saw the stone lion by the door and said, “He was abandoned in front of the stone lion, why don’t we call him a lion?”
“Lion? Who’s called a lion? I still have lice, and it’s not elegant. ” Top Scorer shook his head, disagreeing with the name.
“Lion? Shi, if not, then this child will be surnamed Shi, with the word ‘grace’, implying that he has received our kindness today, and will bestow more benefits to others with Shi En in the future. ” The teacher caressed the baby boy’s face with a trace of hope
BOOM!
A violent impact pulled Shi En back to reality from his dream.
“Suddenly opening his eyes, he felt an intense collision taking place in the outside world.” Another bang. The car that was moving seemed to have been hit by something and was leaning to the left.
Shi En immediately woke up, he realized that it was already night time, he did not expect himself to sleep for so long. The one driving the car was Uncle Huzha, so the car was in a strange atmosphere. Shi En asked: “What happened?”
“There are three cars following us.”
Shi En was startled, and subconsciously looked at the rearview mirror. Sure enough, three black sedans lined up in a row at the back of Shi En’s car, encircling him. “Bam!” The jeep’s right rearview mirror was blown away, and a guy in a black suit and black sunglasses stuck out of the jeep behind him. He was holding a black tube shaped object in his hand, and was pointing it towards Shi En’s car.
“It’s another ‘External Devil’ weapon?” Shi En shouted in shock.
“That’s a gun, how could they have a gun? Did you offend the External Devil Group? ” Zhu Xiaochang buried his body under the carriage and asked anxiously.
Shi En looked at the Uncle Huzha in front of him, and thought that what Snake said was true, on the way here, he had indeed met the experts sent by Imperial Family of The Great Ming Dynasty, and the ones following behind should be the killers bought by the External Devil.
Uncle Huzha was the first to react, he fiercely stepped on the gas pedal and the SUV shot out like an arrow leaving the bow. The black car at the back didn’t want to be outdone so it sped up and chased after them. In addition, it arrogantly lined up in a row, blocking off the road at the back.
