Legendary Sword God Sect - Chapter 205
The glowing orbs vibrated violently at first when they heard Nightin’s command, but the moment of peace only lasted for a short period of time.

After that brief moment of silence, sparks of lightning formed between the nine orbs as they attempted to destroy each other in an attempt to prove that they’re better.
Come on, I got this. Master has told me what I should do in this scenario before. Nightin told himself as he tried to recall his master’s words.
“Remember, don’t panic when the glowing orbs go out of control. If that ever happens, make use of the battle going on between them and use their individual strength to weaken each other.”
“As for how to figure out which two orbs go with each other and which three orbs can go with each other, that would have to be dependent on your personal judgement.”
Knowing that there wasn’t much time to waste after the few seconds he spent recollecting his thoughts, Nightin calmed down and opened his Samsara eyes.
“I see.” Nightin smirked as he started to take control over the battlefield. Acting like the judge who determined their opponent. He might not be able to figure out the best compatibility to arrange the glowing orbs in, but he can act as the judge who decides the match-ups.
This tiny action might seem like a waste of time, but the effects it brings about definitely plays a key factor.
While the glowing orbs may not respond to someone who shouldn’t interfere in their affairs, he would have built a relationship by organising the so-called heated ‘battles’ that would soon chill down.
Not only that, he would be in a higher ranking than them in both authority and power. This would be the approach he takes to find the perfect compatibility between two different glowing orbs.
Soon, the electric field seemed to split itself in four different battlefields. Yet right when the glowing orbs were about to collide into each other, he stopped them with the electric field by forming a barrier at the last moment.
After this however, his breathing quickened and his body temperature was actually rising despite his cultivation. It was a taboo to interfere with the natural forming of celestial beings or objects and since this was the case, it goes to show that success will lead him to greater heights.
But if he were to fail here, it wouldn’t be as simple as leaving the star search route anymore, he would be dead and due to his crimes, he would be forbidden from going through the process of reincarnation.
It hurts, but it was worth it. At least he stands a chance of getting stronger and saving his master. He had the choice and he chose to take the risk.

The glowing orbs collided against the electrical barrier, trying their utmost best to break through it with brute force which proved futile. Left without a choice, the glowing orbs remained passive in their place after losing too much energy.
Seeing this, Nightin made use of his Samsara eyes and managed to pick up traces of energy merging in the electrical field as he made use of it to arrange and group the glowing orbs together.
This should be the best combination I can get.
With a final thought, Nightin merged all nine glowing orbs into the glass orb which absorbed them successfully without facing any disturbance.
“Fuse!”
With a quick succession of hand signs, the glowing orbs merged into the divine orb at the same time and settled down.
The divine orb seemingly having a unique ability, actually managed to calm the nine relentless glowing orbs down as they laid peacefully in its nine slots.
After settling them, the divine orb flew towards him of its own accord and entered his body. Going through his body as it found a comfortable spot to lay in, within his spirit core which contains all his cultivation.
Boom!
Before he could even make sense of what was going on, he felt the fifth Emperor gate shaking violently. His body was ready to make the breakthrough of its own accord, the bucket was already overflowing and there was a bigger container already in place.
“System, make full use of the spirit energy for this breakthrough.”
“What in the world is going on here? What was that orb and the entire process and judging from the current situation, that boy is trying to make a breakthrough now?” The guardian lurking in the dark was currently occupied with the questions popping into his mind.
“Wait, there’s close to zero spirit energy here and if he attempts to make a breakthrough here, the backlash would be troublesome.” Despite the worries of this guardian, the rules prevented it from meeting Nightin before this part of the second trial which rendered it helpless.
“Host, it’s advised that you only use up to about sixty five percent of the spirit energy laying in the experience pool at the moment.”
“It seems like the divine orb is playing its role. My estimated limit was only around forty percent max initially.”
“Host, please think twice before wasting the spirit energy which can’t be absorbed by the body.”
“Don’t worry, the rest is to nourish the energy from the gate the moment it leaks out.”
“Host, that is not highly recommended and may result in death, are you sure about taking the unnecessary risk?”
“Yes.” With a resolution that the system failed to shake, it released all the energy at once as Nightin finally understood what the fifth gate was. It was actually a gate of harmony that any cultivator who cultivates two or more laws might awaken.
The harmony gate might not be extremely rare and the advantage it gives to each of the benefiting law might be minimal, but that effect stacks and increases based on the number of laws cultivated and the overall comprehension of them.
“Now then, system. I need you to reserve the necessary amount of spirit energy that my body can contain for myself while using the remaining spirit energy to improve the quality of the harmony gate.”
The system did as told without rebutting knowing clearly that it would only lead to refusal.
The harmony gate took on the colour of his respective laws while glowing vibrantly with the influx of spirit energy gained from the system.
Taking advantage of this brief timing where the gate is at its weakest with the thickest concentration of energy, Nightin made use of this chance to deliver the crucial blow to the fifth gate, the gate of harmony.
Boom!
The gate shattered into pieces as Nightin used his Samsara eyes to quickly study all of them before sitting on the ground to fully absorb the full effects the harmony gate can bring him.
By the time he opened his eyes again, his cultivation might have only improved by one gate in the Martial Emperor realm, but his strength had increased tremendously.
Based on what he was known of right now, most of the cultivators he had faced off against right now may have decent foundations, but what he needs to face is definitely those with high quality foundations. If that’s the case, then his strength would be comparable to the weakest late stage Martial Saint at best.
“Guardian, I believe that I have passed the test.” Nightin said into the open as he stood up confidently, his eyes staring at the area where the guardian was currently concealing at.
“Young lad, you’re able to see through my concealment?” The guardian asked as he emerged from within one of the pillars.
The third guardian wasn’t a human as well. It was a brown coloured rocky creature that was quite tiny with its body being made up of what seemed like multiple stones.
