Lesbian But Not - 133 Chapter 130
“CELESTINA! WHERE ARE YOU! COME HERE RIGHT NOW!” I shouted loudly amongst the crowd, getting their attention as they all looked at me.
Suddenly, I feel Fatima nudging behind my back, telling me to stop. “HEY! STOP THAT. Don’t just shout in public! You’re giving me second-hand embarrassment!” She tells me as she hid her blushing face from me.
“How are we going to look for Celestina when there’s a large group of people here?! We’re going to have to call her out from the crowd or we’ll take longer to look for her.” I reasoned with her.
“If you shout and yell like that. You’re going to get attention and weird looks from people! I don’t want people to look at me like this!” Fatima pouted, hiding her face from embarrassment.
“Alright then. I won’t yell out anymore.” I gruffed off under my breath. Ugh. Though who even is this girl? Talk about weird that I just met her a few minutes ago and now I’m alone with her searching for Celestina.
“Good. Geez… how about we use our eyes more than our mouth to find her ya?” She tells me sarcastically before taking a glance in the distance to look for her. “She should be around here somewhere… I mean I don’t think she ran off too long when I checked her location with my tracking device.
I just sighed and took a look around the party that was full of flashing lights and people talking with one another. Some were dancing while others were idle by in the plant boxes, chatting and drinking some totally legal to drink beverages. Honestly, the fact that these people have the time to waste their lives doing all of these instead of studying at home is seriously making me question this school’s education system.
Also who in their right mind. Would approve an evening welcoming party for the new transfers especially when there will be classes tomorrow. The flaw in their logic is just so hard to comprehend that it’s annoying to just try understanding it.
We took a few minutes of our time, looking for her in any location, I can see her being in. The drinks station, the little alleyways that the others are hanging around, even the nearest bathroom there and I just couldn’t find her anywhere. Where could she have gone to? Fatima said that her location was here.. unless she’s wrong.
“Find anything about her yet?” Fatima turns to me and asks when we regrouped with one another.
“No. Neither hide nor hair. I didn’t see any trace of her. Are you even sure that your tracking thing is correct or you’re just leading us somewhere to distract us so we don’t find her.” I squinted my eyes, telling her my suspicions.
“Oh? Where’s this coming from all of a sudden? I don’t remember doing anything to trigger you and yet you act like I’m some sort of pest to you. Is it because I’m fat and unattractive? DO YOU PREFER ME TO BE THIN SO THAT YOU’LL LISTEN AND RESPECT ME!” She shouted in anger, seems like I struck a nerve.
“No. I don’t give a rat caboose about your body or your weight at all. I don’t exactly know who you are. That’s what I’m saying.” I restated my question. “Who are you exactly? Why do you even have a GPS tracker at Celestina? Also even if this TRACKING DEVICE is true. What’s to say that you’re just distracting us so that we’d take longer to find Celestina because you’re working with Meghan.”
“Your doubts are logical in a sense. However, this is not the time to act suspicious with me and all. I have no idea who this Meghan person is and I assure you, I’m not doing this to hurt Celestina or anything. I actually have Celestina’s best interest at heart so you have my word that I won’t do anything to hurt her intentionally.” She tried to plead with me but the skeptical nature inside me refused to believe her.
“And why should I trust you exactly? Why would you even spend your time doing that. What would be your goal to do something like that? Is there even a reason for you to do that?” I crossed my arms, looking aggressive.
“Let’s just say a few moments ago, I was looking at myself rather lowly. I was treating myself like filth and I hated my own skin. I mean I still do, don’t get me wrong. I still look at myself as merely a fat troll that no one would love or pay attention to but when I met her. She didn’t treat me any differently than anyone at all. I was used to seeing other people treating me badly or making fun of my weight but Celestina is a kind-hearted person.” She took a deep breath, placing her hand on her heart. “I had thought that everyone just hated me and that no one would treat me with a little bit of respect but she exceeded my expectations. So that’s the reason.” She explains, clearing her throat.
Woah.. Celestina actually did that with her? I didn’t even know she was that type of person to inspire confidence in others. I guess that’s a useful tool if she’s going to a Queen and a ruler of her country in the future.
“She gave me the confidence I have right now to be able to go outside when weeks ago, I couldn’t even go out and see the light because I was afraid of people but she defended me and said that I should sulk and mope about and that I should learn to actually like myself. So that’s why I’m helping her.” She explains. “It should be obvious that if someone treats you with kindness then you should repay it back. She treated me nicely so I’ll treat her nicely. Simple logic right?”
“I guess so… I suppose that makes sense. Alright then, I’ll trust you a little for now but I’m not saying that I fully trust you because I don’t really know you that well.”
“Whatever. Can we just focus on the task at hand and look for Celestina? Honestly, I’m helping Celestina not you so I don’t really care if you trust me or whatever.” She shrugs me off and then proceeded to check on her phone once again.
“By the way, why do you even have a tracking device on my sister?” I interrogated her. “I know you want to keep her safe and all but isn’t keeping track of her location a bit too stalkerish? You should know about boundaries you know.” I told her off, saying that she had good intentions but it’s a bit creepy that she’s doing it.
“This creepy GPS system is what’s telling us where she is right now. SO I suggest you’d be more thankful about it instead of yammering and complaining about how creepy it is. Honestly, for someone that’s really concerned about Celestina’s whereabouts, it was foolish of you to just let her go off alone like that.” She started acting like a smartass with me.
“I never really had a choice, to begin with. She ran off quickly before I could even say anything to her. Also, don’t go acting cocky with me. Acting like that is not a good look even for you.” I scoffed her off.
“Whatever. Anyways I’ll just go and check the GPS system again to see if she’s moved or has stayed here since it would be a shame if we were just lazying around here doing nothing when she’s literally not even here anymore.” She muttered out as she was checking on her phone.
“Cool, take your time.” I sighed, sitting on a nearby chair as my feet were tired from all the walking I had to do. CELESTINA IS SERIOUSLY IN BIG TROUBLE WHEN I SEE HER AGAIN! RUNNING OFF LIKE THIS IS JUST FOOLISH!
“The GPS location is moving, she’s not here anymore. So we’ll have to move. She’s closer to the center of the campus so let’s go there. I’ll text the other people so that they can be aware of her location. Let’s go now!” Fatima signals me to follow her to where the new location is.
Oh boy.. here we go again in this little scavenger hunt. I just hope Celestina’s safe and hasn’t run into any trouble with people.
