Lesbian But Not - 137 Chapter 134
Slowly, I start to open my eyes as I felt a soft and comfortable feeling on my back and a blanket on top of my body. The smell of alcohol drifts along with the air as I see the other hospital beds to my side covered by a curtain. A bright fluorescent lightbulb illuminated every inch of the white room.
I took a look around to see Diana, Cypress, Lawrence, and Fatima looking at me with deep concerns planted right in their faces. “OH MY GOSH! SHE FINALLY WOKE UP!” All of them screamed in unison, catching me off guard for a second as I scratched my head from the confusion.
Glancing around the room, I could see multiple beds and drawers containing medical supplies like bandages, alcohol, and first aid kits. This must be the infirmary.. what am I exactly doing here?
“Um.. eh? What happened?” I tried to rack my brain, massaging it as I feel a slight pounding on my head at the moment of my awakening. It’s as if I got an ice cream headache all of a sudden.
“You ask me! What happened to you?!” Lawrence directly the question back to me, I can tell by the tone of his voice that he’s angry and concerned at the same time.
“Erm. I’m pretty sure, she asked because she has no idea, what’s happening.” Diana chuckled in the distance.
“I don’t get time for your little jokes and antics Diana..” Lawrence rolled his eyes and grunted in a deep voice, making Diana back off immediately from the intimidation.
“By the way, are you alright Celestina? Are you hurt anywhere or does something hurt at all?” Cypress turns to me, sitting close to my bed and checking up on me while I stood there to look at them very confused. Why are they looking at me as if an accident happened.
“Um. Except for a little migraine, I’m doing fine. I don’t really feel anything wrong or any pain. Why are you guys asking though? Why am I in the infirmary again? I don’t really understand what’s going on..” I muttered out, making all of them look at each other as if they were waiting for one another to answer.
The silence continued until Fatima spoke up and broke it. “Apparently, Lawrence told us that you ran off by yourself to go to the party so we decided to follow you with the use of my tracking device. We got lost and we had a hard time trying to find you because of the crowd but suddenly when we were looking we found out that you dropped your phone in the middle of the party while we were trying to track you with your GPS location, and when we found that, we got a phone call from Diana saying that she found you collapsed in the ground, being carried by two men she chased off.” She bluntly described what had happened while I was knocked out, which gave me back some bits of my memory.
“More importantly. You really don’t remember anything?” Lawrence interrogated me. “What happened to you? Why were you unconscious on the floor? Were you just tired and fainted?”
This.. this is seriously strange, surely my memory should be crystal clear since this just happened a few hours ago at most but why does everything feel so foggy to me and why do I absolutely feel dizzy all of a sudden.
“Hm.. this might be bad..” Cypress rubbed his chin and looked at me with distraught.
“So I’m actually not the only one that’s thinking like that! Awesome, I always hate being the only smart one in the group.” Diana snickered, before getting silenced by Lawrence.
Something bad? What are they exactly talking about? I.. UGH. This headache is killing me. My brain feels like it’s having a brain freezing when I first tasted ice cream…
“What are you lowlifes talking about? Are you not saying anything to us or something?” Fatima crossed her arms, looking irritated. “Is it because I’m fat and ugly? Do you guys just not want to treat me normally?”
“We already told you it actually. Remember how we mentioned those two guys trying to carry Celestina?” Cypress pointed out.
“What about those two guys? You did say that they found Celestina and they were trying to take her to the infirmary. I mean it’s a public party so I’m pretty sure if you saw someone faint. You would take them to the infirmary right away.” Lawrence raised his eyebrow at what they were talking about.
“Ain’t that a little too convenient?” Diana chuckled. “It’s a bit hard to believe that two guys suddenly just showed up to help her so quickly. Isn’t that giving you a bit of a creepy vibe?”
“Not really. I mean the place was a public place, it’s a party. Any one of the students could have seen Celestina faint if they looked and being a normal human being, they would offer help to her. I mean that should be obvious right?” Fatima protested against the idea that there was foul play involved with it.
“Those guys didn’t look the bit gentlemanly at all. They looked like they had malicious intentions. Trust me. I’m able to spot those things quickly.” Diana yawned, acting so nonchalantly while declaring what she knew.
“How could you judge someone’s physical appearance like that! I knew it! You’re nothing but a superficial bitchy valley girl! I knew I shouldn’t have stayed with you because you’ll just bully me!” Fatima exclaimed, making Diana’s eyes widen.
“Yo girl chill.” Diana carefreely responded. “I’m not the type to judge the book by its cover but oh boy they do project a mean aura around them. Their body language gave me the impression that they were trying to get something and I’m sure you know what I’m getting here right boos?”
“Uh? What do you mean exactly? Are you saying that those two people came there early because they knew I was going to faint?” I chimed into the conversation, throwing questions their way.
“Hey listen. I’m not going to be the future doctor here so I think future doctor Cypress should be the one to explain this!” Diana smiled and then hid behind Cypress, making him roll his eyes before finally explaining what he meant
“Diana meant that. Those guys came there to purposely take you themselves to.. well.. violate you. That’s what we are trying to say.” Cypress’s explanation made Lawrence squint his eyes in disbelief.
“What? What the hell are you saying?” Lawrence blurted out.
“I’m saying someone deliberately set this up. they intentionally tried to make her faint and then had two guys waiting for her so that when she does do it. They can easily swoop you up. Listen it’s just a theory but it’s the logical conclusion I can come up with, especially with the information we know.” Cypress replied to Lawrence.
How.. how.. my mind started to go all over the place. This was just so hard to process. “How did they make me faint?”
“While Diana was contemplating trying to write on your face. I examined your body to see if there was any type of injury, a blunt force trauma that could have caused your fainting spell but there was none. So I had assumed it was just merely an illness but Lawrence told us that you don’t really suffer from any illness so they must have spiked something that you ate or drank.” Cypress concluded professionally, looking and sounding like a real doctor
“What’s spiked?” I turned my head over the weird term.
“It’s the act of placing narcotics or sedatives into someone’s food or beverage without them knowing in an intent to harm them or take advantage of them when they are vulnerable. It happens during parties so I think that must have happened…” Cypress explained it to me in perfect detail.
“Did you drink or eat something that was handed to you? That could have been the cause of this.” Diana followed up with a question.
As I tried to remember everything that was in my head, I realized something..

“Free drinks! Free drinks!” A guy was walking around, carrying a few drinks in a cooler as he approaches me. “Hey! A handsome guy just treated you to a free drink! Grab one in my cooler.” He says to me.
“Oh sure. Thank you.” I grab the orange juice in a bottle on the corner as I nodded and gave him my thanks though I started to think. “Who’s this handsome guy that gave me the drink?” I asked him.
He avoided the question, dashing over to the other people to give them their free drinks. I just thought nothing of it and opened the bottle of orange juice. I mean it’s a free drink so it should be fine! I took a small sip of the orange juice and I could taste the sweet citrus flavor of it. Ah. I love this!
