- Chapter 477 Scaring an undead king into running away!
At the very last second, Augutus stepped to the side, dodging the frontal thrust of the demon’s sharp and pointy limb.
And then, without missing a beat, he covered his hand in his special-type Reality Distortion force and slapped the mighty creature on its back with all his force.
Bam!
The impact was deafening, sending shockwaves rippling through the air.
Guhhhakkk!
The demon let out an ear-splitting screech, its form trembling under the force of the blow.
Then, in an instant, it dissipated into nothingness, leaving behind nothing but a faint scent of brimstone and sulfur, reminiscent of its existence.
Marty’s eyes widened in shock as he watched his fourth strongest demon general vanish.
For a moment, he stood frozen in disbelief, his mind struggling to comprehend what had just happened.
And then, slowly but surely, a wicked grin spread across his face.
“Very impressive, Augustus,” he said, his voice dripping with dark amusement and anger. “But don’t think for a moment that this battle is over. I have plenty of tricks left up my sleeve.”
“I won’t be giving you the time to use your tricks,” Augustus declared, determination etched on his sweaty but pretty face, “I’ll finish this right now!”
Augustus drew upon all his power, channeling it into a single attack. The mighty wave of reality distortion force hummed and crackled around him, distorting the very fabric of reality itself.
He twisted and condensed it with a sharp intake of breath, molding it into a seething ball of pure, unbridled power that pulsed with extraordinary might, causing the air in the surroundings to shimmer and the world to vibrate. It felt like the calm before the storm.
Augustus released the condensed power in a blindingly fast blast that shot straight towards Marty.
Whoosh!
The blast moved with such incredible speed that it left a trail of rippling energy in its wake, like a comet streaking across the sky
Everything happened so fast that Marty didn’t have time to react or even process what was happening before the blast struck him head-on.
Boom!
The force of the impact was immense, and a deafening explosion erupted, sending him hurtling backward with bone-jarring force.
A cloud of dust and debris rose in the air, shrouding everything in a thick veil of smoke and dirt.<novelsnext>ραпdα `nᴏνɐ| сom</novelsnext>
The ground shook beneath their feet as the blast consumed everything in its path. Rocks and boulders were blasted apart, trees were uprooted, the water of the black, murky swamp was evaporated, and the very air crackled and hummed with the energy of the attack. It was as though the very fabric of the world had been rent asunder, and all that remained was the raw, untamed power of Augustus’s attack.
The dust from the explosion obscured Augustus’s vision.
Augustus dropped to his knees, panting heavily, as a sharp pain stabbed his brain and body, making him wince and twist in agony. The pain was so immense that it felt as though the breath had been knocked out of him, making him wheeze like a person desperate for oxygen.
“It’s near,” he thought to himself grimly, a sense of foreboding settling in the pit of his stomach. The time to pay the price for using his full power was drawing close.
‘But now’s not the time to let the pain and exhaustion defeat me.’
Augustus forced himself to stand tall, even as his body screamed for him to stop, as he knew that he had to stay alert and ready for any counterattack that might come his way. Although the full force of his full power had struck Marty, he had an inkling that he hadn’t yet defeated Marty.
Ha!
He stumbled as he rose to his feet, his breaths coming in ragged gasps as he tried to steady himself.
He tried to keep his senses alert, scanning the dust-filled air for any sign of movement vigilantly, but the pain in his head was like a red-hot poker searing through his skull, making it almost impossible to concentrate.
He could feel the sweat beading on his forehead and running down his face, stinging his eyes.
Meanwhile, in the center of a crater, Marty coughed violently. He looked down and saw a dead bug. It was one of his five most important demon generals. It had sacrificed itself to help him survive the attack. His heart sank as he realized he was no match for Augustus. His powers were inferior, and his demons had also failed him. Three of his five most capable demon generals had met their ends at Augustus’s hands. If this continued, he might lose all his demon generals and, with that, his Undead King title.
‘I can’t afford to stay and fight any longer. I have to get out of here,’ he thought, his mind racing with fear and panic.
Marty quickly conjured up a wraith with wings, a creature that could move at incredible speeds. It was his second strongest demon general.
He jumped on its back and shouted, “Fly, my loyal servant! Get us out of here!”
Whoosh!

As he flew away, Marty couldn’t help but feel a sense of terror wash over him. He had never encountered someone as powerful as Augustus before. He knew that if he stayed, he would surely meet his end.
“I must regroup with the lord of the swamps and come up with a new plan,” he thought. “One that will allow me to defeat that guy, and if I can subdue him and take him back to my ritual circle in my kingdom, it will be even better. He will make a suitable vessel for Death!”
Augustus had no intention of letting him get away. However, when he forced his body to move, his legs gave way under him, and he fell pathetically onto the muddy ground, his face hitting the dirt.
