Life As A Servant - Chapter 105
“Where we heading, boss?”
Bin didn’t reply immediately as he was leaning on the car seat and his eyes were closed.
“I’m not your boss, call me Bin. Head to South, to the rural area.”
The four men weren’t tense as they sat there, composed and eerily quiet. Whether it’s killing or kidnapping, it didn’t matter to them, their job was to follow orders without questioning anything. Bin seemed to know what he’s doing so they did have a bit of trust in him. Moreover, he didn’t act arrogantly and seemed wholly focused on what they were about to do, which they still don’t know.
Fortunately, the young man cleared and answered some of their thoughts by saying:
“My apartment is being watched by some people. We need to dispose of all but one so we can question him or her. It doesn’t matter the method, just get him to speak of where the branch is. Before the sun rises, we need to eliminate all the threats, which means killing every last one of them, understood?”
“Yes.”
“There are probably some magic-user mixed in them but I don’t suppose that’s a problem, right?”
He half-lazily glanced at the driver, who was the man accompanying Melissa previously. The man grinned and raised his hand, from which an illusory magical knife made its appearance.
“I expected no less from her people.”
Bin snorted but didn’t speak anymore. These four men were also magic-users, they weren’t the best but they could fend themselves against others. Not only are they good fighters, they also have methods to resist magic or counter it, which made him a bit relieved. Bin was by no means a magic-user, however, that doesn’t mean he can’t do anything. Sure, he isn’t a good fighter but when guns were involved, it’s a totally another matter. If it’s those people then he wouldn’t mind killing.
“I’ll attract their attention and you’ll finish them off one by one. They won’t do anything once I show up, in fact, they’ll quietly wait and assess the situation before calling their boss.”
Just as Bin finished, the man with facial scratches asked; “What of the police?”
“What of it? We’re using silencers and I doubt the other party will to alert the authorities. In any case, if the plans go awry then you’re free to retreat.”

“Big sister, why did you bring me here?”
Ann nervously looking around, disliking the gloom shrouding the area and the serious lack of illumination, additionally, the eerie atmosphere made her uneasy.
Scarlett looked at a certain building before saying: “Before my master died, he had a secret patient living here. No matter how much I visited this place, he never showed up.”
The woman got off the car and walked toward the half-broken stairs, Ann also followed her as she was secret of staying alone.
The two doctors stopped before the door at the end of the narrow corridor. Scarlett slightly hesitated before knocking the door only for it to creak and slowly open, revealing the empty room behind it.
“Dr. Galen had a secret patient? Ann feigned surprised but, in truth, she had long since deduced the relation between Galen and Bin. The youngster had a never-seen-before sickness so it’s to be expected that someone like Galen would try to help him and discover the truth. It’s just that, unfortunately, Bin never disclosed any information about his sickness or Galen.
“Yes. Furthermore, I accidentally met him in the academy but he refused to talk. I wanted to warn him about the people looking for him.”
Ann frowned as she entered the apartment along with Scarlett and looked around. The place was literally empty, cramped, and had a minuscule window if it can be called as such. It was big enough for air to enter and ventilate this shit hole.
“This is empty maybe he left?”-Ann
“That’s most likely the case. He must have known.”-Scarlett
‘He didn’t look like he knew though.’-Ann
The young female doctor kept her thoughts to herself as she inspected the nothingness, trying to find hidden things.
As there was no electricity, they had to use their phone’s flashes to look around, however, less than five minutes since their arrival, Ann let out an unintentional cry. She heard the creaking of the door so she directed her phone to the entrance only to see a black figure standing a couple of meters in front of her. She fell on her butt and covered her mouth but it was far too late as Scarlett came out of the small restroom.
The red-haired woman wasn’t as scared as her sister but she wasn’t unfazed either. She slowly walked to her sister and shielded her while glaring at the black silhouette.
“What are you two doing here?!”
With a berating and cold voice, Bin spoke to the two women while removing the cloth and revealing his face to them. Scarlett knitted her brows as she didn’t expect him to appear so shadily, as for Ann, she was relieved.
Contrary to what his expression showed, Bin was truly surprised as various thoughts raged inside of his mind. When he saw the car parked outside, he thought it was the enemies so he prepared his gun but who would have thought it’s these two siblings!
Scarlett glanced at the black firearm in Bin’s hand before coldly saying:
“What are you going to do?”
She was clearly wary of him, especially since they met under special and not-so-friendly circumstances.
“You really appeared at the wrong time.”
Bin clicked his tongue and was about to tell them to leave only to hear subtle footsteps coming from outside. He raised his hand, fixing the black cloth on his face before signaling the two girls to remain silent. Seeing his odd behavior, Ann was too scared to do anything, as for Scarlett, she held her sister’s hand. The siblings were sweating and not as calm as five minutes ago, moreso when the footsteps kept getting closer to their location.
Twenty seconds later, two men wearing black clothes entered the room. They weren’t using any flash-light but were able to see more than the average human, they were holding long batons in their hands and seemed ready to fight.
The first thing they saw was the two females curled in a corner and looked back at them. However, before they could do anything, a quiet, almost inaudible gunshot sound was heard, it was followed by the fall of one of the men. A bullet pierced his head and killed him on the spot.
The other man reacted swiftly as she turned around and swung down his baton at Bin, who backed away and fired his gun again, shooting at the man’s knees, making him fall before unhesitatingly finishing him like the first. Bin showed no remorse as he inspected the two bodies before pushing them to a corner, unaware of the looks he was getting from the two women.
Ann was absolutely terrified and shaking from head to toe, though her sister was much calmer as it’s not the first time she was in a similar, extreme situation, nevertheless, she was still a normal person, who happened to highly skilled doctor, she wasn’t used to seeing people every day.
“B-bin, is-is, is is that really y-yyou ?”
With a shaky voice, Ann raised her head and look at the masked young man, who gave no response. He knelt at the center of this tiny room, retrieved his knife, and thrust it at the ground.
Surprisingly, he was met with no resistance as the knife easily pierced the weak floor. Bin then pocketed the knife and used his hand to open a hole with his bare hands then retrieved a shiny object.
The two ladies’ eyes were attracted to this object, which had a triangular shape and emanated a crimson odd light. It was actually a crystal which was the same shape and size that of Mina’s, thought the color was different and much more vibrant.
Bin hid the crystal before saying
“It would probably be safer for you to stay here. Close the door after I leave.”
He left shortly after, leaving them with no time to say anything.
