Life As A Servant - Chapter 93
“Rika!”
With a fast-paced walking, almost no different than running, Jasmine went next to Rika, who was holding a cup of coffee and dazedly looking to the front. Only when Jasmine sat next to her and gently caressed her back did the girl snap back to reality and turned her neck to the side, looking at the black-haired beauty next to her. She also timidly glanced timidly at Bin, who just entered the room and stood at the side.
Not only was she embarrassed, but yesterday’s humiliation also weighed on her heart, especially the tragic events that occurred in that basement. She was grateful for Bin’s interference but also blamed him because his actions may also complicate and worsen things, not for her but for him. She was well aware he was living a rough life yet he saved her and potentially doomed his fate if her father were to take action. Rika knew how her father acts and he would definitely not let Bin off the hook, in fact, sooner or later, he’ll do something horrible.
Although Melissa accompanied her yesterday, she didn’t press her for the truth as she wanted her friend to feel comfortable and safe.
“Ah! Rika!”
A third guest entered the villa and went straight for Rika. It was none other than the talkative and annoying Cara, who, despite her arrogant and dis likable character, was still a loyal friend of Rika and the rest. The two sat at Rika’s sides and comforted her, telling her that everything will be alright. Both Jasmine and Cara knew nothing of what happened but it didn’t take a genius to guess that whatever did happen affected their friend a lot, both physically and mentally.
As she watched Rika, who was forcing a smile for her friends, Melissa said to Bin, who was right next to her.
“So, are you going to tell me what happened?”
In response, he examined this big yet lonely living room while saying: “I’m sure with your resources and intellect, you must have a guess or two.”
“Anyway, you’re surprisingly low-key.”
He was obviously referring to the villa, which was utterly void of maids or workers. It seems willingly lives alone, contrary to her parents, it must be one of the reasons for her twisted personality, or so thought Bin.
“It’s up to you whether to confirm or deny my guesses.”
She pretended she didn’t hear his last remark and went back to the previous topic, wanting to confirm the truth from Bin’s mouth, after all, he was the one and only witness, excluding the father-daughter duo, of course.
Surprisingly, this time, Bin chose not to withhold the truth, at least not from Melissa. She is indeed a dangerous person but she’s also a real friend of Rika and truly cares for her wellbeing, moreover, after beating the leaving daylights of Rika’s father, it’s better to have a temporary ally which can solve a few things for him.
He signaled for the pretty blond girl to follow him as he chose a quiet place, away from the girls’ ears. Melissa obediently followed the youngster and waited for him to tell the truth or speak of the details.
Her arms were crossed but her nails were digging deep into her skin, unbeknownst to her.
When he was sure no one would hear, Bin leaned against the wall and said: “I wouldn’t call it the usual physical abuse but it’s definitely sexual abuse and humiliation.”
Bin proceeded to speak of what he saw without missing a single detail. How there are countless pictures of Rika, both naked and clothed in revealing clothes, the sexual positions, and everything else. This only made the usually smiling and calm Melissa extremely anger.
Though she managed to contain her temper, her chest was rising up and down as she collected her thoughts and mumbled with a low voice which Bin could barely hear.
“I should’ve killed him.”
‘Fuck me! She’s really a lunatic well, good for me though.’
As long as she handles Haydon, Rika’s father, then he doesn’t have to worry about anything else. If that man were to press charges, he’ll end up imprisoned within days, after all, he was a person of high status and has lots of connections. Honestly, Bin didn’t care about Haydon’s life, if Melissa wants to kill him then he won’t interfere as trash like that truly doesn’t deserve to breathe, much less live.
“Actually, I’m surprised none of you knew about this.”
Bin commented while gazing at Melissa, who calmed herself, though her eyes were flashing with a cold gleam.
“She hid it pretty well and we rarely visit her house.”
“Still, haven’t you seen the scar-” He stopped himself at the last second and lightly coughed, clearing his throat.
“Nevermind, it’s not my business.”
The two didn’t continue their conversation as Jasmine entered the room. She looked at Melissa than at her servant, Bin, who was looking as nonchalant as ever.
“We need to go to school soon but you’ll stay with Rika until we return.”
“Huh? Isn’t she going with you?”-Bin
“She insisted on going but it’ll be better if she rests. I’d like to stay but the academy is strict with absence.”-Jasmine
“But isn’t Rika going to be absent?”
“She’s an exception.”-Melissa
The blond girl sighed and added: “It’ll be for the best if Bin accompanies her.” She winked at the youngster before leaving with Jasmine to notify their friend.
Left alone, Bin scratched the back of his head while thinking about how awkward it’s going to be when he’s alone with Rika.
