Chapter 343 Plans in action – call of chaos
“Who are these people?”
“Is this still the test?”
“Where are we? Where are the staff?”
“Fuck, they’re killing us. It’s not the test anymore.”
The students screamed in horror, their faces paled and palms got sweaty as chills went up their spine seeing the bloody massacre taking place in front of their eyes.
Marcel was just the beginning as before his body even hit the ground the rest of the masked man had already killed more than a dozen students already.
Rio looked around and nodded his head at Nirdayi, Cersei and everyone. Though the students here were much weaker than every one of them, but he had warned them not to take it easy and not to play around. His plan was simply to kill everyone as soon as possible.
With each passing second more and more students appeared in the deserted temple. And the moment they saw the scene unfolding they’d have the same question – How? Why?
But sadly no one was here to answer them. From the beginning to end, none of the attackers spoke a word. Neither did gods who were watching all this silently.
“Which organization do these people belong to?”
“Damn it, we don’t even have any artifacts or defensive treasures either.”
“Fuck, even the gods are silent. Are we still on the floating islands?”
“Doesn’t matter. Stop trying to run, we’re trapped inside by a barrier. Knowing they dared to attack us openly, they should have confidence that we can’t escape and help doesn’t arrive.”
“It’s not the exam anymore, so there’s no need for any infighting. Let’s all fight them together.”
“He’s right, Let’s group together, even though our ranks are low, we have the advantage in numbers. As long as . ..”
“You sure you have the numbers.”
Though confused, soon enough some rankers and nobles got their senses straight and started gathering their followers and grouping together, making plans to fight back. Yet just when their words caused a little hope and fighting spirit to appear in others’ eyes, the same cold voice amplified by some device to hide any kind of tracking modulation, echoed from the masked man who started it all.
“You sure you have the numbers.”
As his words ended he looked up with a chuckle. Alfred, Kendrick, Kasnia, Erbil, Murica, Quinton, Grant, Frank, Jay, Thor – every ranker followed his gaze and felt the ground beneath their feet slipping.
The banshee, which all of them together couldn’t defeat, was floating up there. Her hands stretched out and the veil lifted from her face. Everyone could see the perfect face and young figure of the creature, yet none had the mood to appreciate that beauty, as before their eyes could process her appearance, a loud scream reached their ears.
[Soul scream of the Banshee]
An attack that transforms her cursed power and pain into a sound wave that attacks not only the physical forms, but souls too.
Arghhhhhhhh
Aaaaaaaaaaaa
Half the students rolled on the ground covering their ears to block the heavy noise, yet even their hands, mana, aura – nothing seemed to be working as the scream synced with their souls, making it near impossible to block or defend against unless they had some kind of soul technique or treasure.
Which obviously only nobles and rich people had the access to.

“Time for round two.”
[Call of Chaos]
Rio took out a loudspeaker from his storage and screamed as loud as he could. Putting the blessing of goddess Kali on full display.
As soon as Kali’s blessing came into play, the whole desolate place turned deathly silent for a moment, before a roar echoed in the sky, seemingly able to tear through space itself. As the originally empty sky took a chaotic form, and turned bloody red.
The red fog that permeated from the clouds took the form of a broken human skull and opened its bony mouth, letting out another scream that resonated with Rio’s call.
Hearing this response even the ones who survived Banshee’s attack, held their heads and fell to the ground in pain.
Many students lost themselves and passed out directly. Their souls destroyed and bodies remaining just as a dried husk. Some who survived, started banging their heads on the ground or digging their nails into their hearts or ripping out their ears – trying to ease the pain.
“Still think you got the numbers? Think again.”
Finally when the screams died down, Rio’s voice came to everyone’s ears again and people couldn’t help but gulp in fear looking at their surroundings.
The cracked floor, the empty hallways, the barren land – everything which gave the feeling of desolation before, was now bloodied red. Corpses scattered around and men squirming and rolling on the ground like worms.
[Return to nature]
Another masked man brought out an artifact that acted like a wand, and with just a wave of his hand, the ground cracked open and pulled all the corpses and dead students inside. Leaving no sign of their bodies or existence anywhere.
While Rio was enjoying the success of his plans, storms were raging on the other side of the place he was in.
As all the students had guessed, currently they were on the floating islands too.
Knowing that killing so many students, many gods could pop up to interfere with him for various reasons, that’s why Rio made a new temple of Yarikh near the Frighenart forest and laid out his traps. Making sure he could make it as hard as he possibly could to secure his chance.
Currently all the staff responsible for exams were racking their brains and pulling their hair as in front of their eyes more than 90% of students had suddenly disappeared. And only five people were left on the exam place. Rio, Lisa, Bernhardt, Dahlia and Yohan.
The four students were obviously surrounded by a shiny darkness that the staff could only think of as the Nyx’s blessing performed by Rio.
While Yohan, who was the next supreme for the demonic sect called Death God’s sect – had his whole body shining in red. Staff could think of it as some kind of forbidden art that helped him block whatever caused the others to teleport. Veins on his body were visibly burning bright, as the red blood seemed to turn into lava. Smoke was coming out his pores and before the staff could take actions to help him, the skill broke and the backlash became too much for the young supreme to bear, and his body got blasted into pieces, before disappearing in thin air.
Causing blood rain to pour into the place real Rio was fighting next moment.
Even his corpse got teleported out.
