Life With A System - Chapter 8 Ever Changing Girl
Ji Anyi was surprised because she didn’t see him wear it two days ago. Did he ditch school yesterday just to get the equipment? She wondered.
Still, she was angry at him!
*Smack*
“Ouch! Why did you hit me for? I didn’t even get close to you!” Xia Shishu complained to her.
“Xia Shishu! I’m frustrated at you!” Ji Anyi said angrily.
“Oh Okay.” Xia Shishu answered her and began writing again. She was acting so unreasonably! All he did was take notes and she is frustrated? Girls are such mysterious creatures indeed

Angry ANgry. ANGERY!!
I, Ji Anyi, am so angry! Prevented me from going for lunch! Now you ignore me! I’m going to get you back! Humph!
I looked at writing hand and saw his Second Reality Bracelet
I thought of something ingenious! I’ll just kill him!
I won’t kill him in real life of course! But since Second Reality is like real life, hmm hmm.
Since Second Reality lets the user feel pain, I’m going to make him suffer for stopping me from eating!
Doesn’t he know that food is justice? Doesn’t he know that food is the WORLD?!
My mother couldn’t even afford to have three meals per day! Does he not know how to cherish free food?
Maybe he hasn’t even started Second Reality yet. I’ll just tell him to come to my beginner village and play with me
When we go to the wilderness Heh heh. DEATH!
He won’t even be able to resist me! I’m already level 8! His lvl 0 character will surely die!

“H-Hey Xia Shishu..”
Ji Anyi suddenly began a conversation with a shy girl personality.
Xia Shishu heard her and turned his head. Why did this cold girl suddenly turn into a shy moe girl? Right after she beat him with her pencil too? Does she have a thing for him or something?
“Yes? What do you need?” Answered Xia Shishu with carefree attitude. Even though she was mean, he still treated her with respect. That’s because it’s his Nindo, his Ninj- I mean, he wish to abide by his own rule of treating girls with respect. He has his bottom line of course, and it’s a good thing that she didn’t pass it.
“Did you start Second Reality yet? This is the first time I saw you have a Second Reality bracelet on… If you haven’t began playing yet, can you come to my beginner village and play with me? I don’t have friends So I don’t have anyone to play with” Ji Anyi looked at Xia Shishu with pitiful eyes while raising her left arm to show that she also play Second Reality.
Xia Shishu was quite amazed by Ji Anyi. What’s with her personality change or is this her true self? Since he never truly succeeded in making a casual conversation with her before, he shouldn’t judge her right?
It’s just playing anyways, there should be no harm. He haven’t started so having someone he know in the game might be a good thing. He doesn’t want to play with Luo Meng, but it might be okay if it’s his deskmate.
“Sure. When and where do you want to meet up?” Xia Shishu asked his deskmate.
“I want to meet up at 10:00 P.M. in Silver Lake village at the village chief’s house” Ji Anyi told him with two hands up while all her fingers are stretched out.
“Okay. I’ll see you at 10 then.” Xia Shishu answered her and turned his head to continue writing. It’s EXP! No time for wasting.
Xia Shishu kept on writing through all his classes. He wanted to work hard to level up to level 1. The System’s EXP request is quite unreasonable. He gains so little yet the goal is so high! But Xia Shishu is making progress so he doesn’t really care.
While Xia Shishu was in his own little world, he didn’t notice the girl with brown eyes and jet black hair staring at him from the side.
Ji Anyi didn’t even pay attention to class today. She just kept staring at Xia Shishu. To others, her gaze looks like a girl in love. A girl that wants adores her lover so very much.
The truth? Ji Anyi was just thinking about how to kill Xia Shishu in Second Reality. Should she try to kill him with one strike if possible? Should she trap him somewhere and then stab him bit by bit until his HP drop to 0? How should she go about doing it??
In the end, both Xia Shishu and Ji Anyi didn’t learn anything in school like they were supposed to.
Ji Anyi wasted her time looking at Xia Shishu.
The latter spent all his time writing ‘notes’ so that he can level up, and he didn’t learn anything since understanding the note and taking the note is a completely different thing.
*Ding Ding dong*
School ended.
Xia Shishu stopped writing and checked his status.
[ Host : Xia Shishu

Agility: 34
Stamina: 30
Wisdom: 34
Intelligence: 40

Xia Shishu sighed about his total EXP. He wrote so much yet he has so little EXP? If this keeps on going, it’ll take him at least three months to get to level 1! Is this still consider normal? It can’t be right?
Xia Shishu sat on his desk stagnant, looking at his own stats. Because of this, he is troubling a certain someone.
“Xia Shishu! Do you not want to stay after school with me or something?? Move!”
Ahh Ji Anyi turned back into her aloof self. Xia Shishu looked at her, unfazed by her change. A strong person must be able to adapt to change, and Xia Shishu considers himself as a strong person.
He got off his chair and let her through, and he began to pack away his school materials.
“X-Xia Shishu make sure you remember to get on tonight”
“Hmmm? Ahh Okay I’ll remember.”
Xia Shishu heard his shy deskmate once again. His deskmate’s ever changing attitude is probably one of the 7 wonders of abnormality in his school.
“You better!” Ji Anyi roared as she quickly ran out of the room.
Seemly saying to himself he asked, “What with this girl?”
Some classmates heard them talking to each other but they didn’t care. They wanted to rush home and play Second Reality! There was also the person called Xia Shishu. During the first semester, some guys tried to get close to him since he is in the Top 10 of their grade, but Xia Shishu began to ignore them after they asked to copy from him and cheat from his exam.
Xia Shishu rejected them and he later became cautious about who he gets close to. That being said, he wouldn’t even try to start conversations with anyone except for his deskmate.
Ones that tried to befriend him eventually gave up due to his cautiousness, and he would just usually stay in school as a legendary loner.
His relationship with most of the classmates are considered to be neutral, so it’s obvious that they wouldn’t make it hard on him nor would they ask what happened.
Xia Shishu didn’t mind being ignored by them though. It was one of the perks for being a legendary loner. You don’t need to explain every single details of your life to others.
