Chapter 216 – Server 10 Aftermath

“Meh-Heh-Heh!!”
*Meh-Heh Mew!*
Both Tama and Misha laughed with their high-pitched voice, celebrating their victory.
“Do you know what I’m thinking, Tama?”
*Mew* (I know.)
It was red gels time!
Misha rushed to Amro’s corpse and shoved it in her game inventory.
>
“…”
*…*
Both of them wait a few seconds longer for the confirmation messages that they had obtained red gels.
Unfortunately, the same messages they used to get in close-beta never arrived.
“No red gel?”
*Mew* (No red gel…)
“…”
In frustration, Misha took out Amro’s body from her inventory and placed it on the ground.
“Let’s dissect this motherfucker! We have [Dissection] skill for a reason, right!?”
*Mew!* (Agreed!)
Misha’s eyes were bloodshot as she took a knife to cut this giant red egg.
.
Natalie, Des, and other onlookers stood still, watching Misha dissecting Amro.
“She did it.”
“Amazing.”
Not only the invading force, but the bosses were also done in by Misha and her pet. They glanced at the direction of the giant tree that was busy pumping white juice into Katia’s stomach.
“…”
As they were gawking at the scene in confusion and astonishment, a server notification came.
>
>
A glowing crystal appeared before all players in server 10, including Misha.
“OH!”
“T-This is..!”
“WE’RE RICH!!”
It was the expensive VIP item that could bind an item to a character.
.
************************
> Consumable Item
Bind one item to your character.
A bound item will not drop upon death.
Price – 100,000 Diamond

.
Every player celebrated as this item was too valuable. They could use it to bind the most important to their avatar, so it would not drop from their inventory.
As for the smart FTP players, they planned to sell this, and they could retire for life as a hundred thousand diamonds could convert into billions of MWD. They believed they could leave the game for good and live somewhere far away from trouble.

Des, Misha, and Natalie paused and widened their eyes upon receiving the notification. They inspected the new class right away.

In legends, a true valkyrie can guide the fallen souls of warriors to the realms of god and wield the power of immortals. But for you, as an apprentice, you don’t have that kind of power yet.
Still, a novice can give boosts to allies and friends in the same battlefield. Having even a valkyrie in your army is the same as having additional 1,000 soldiers.
> (Status Perks has been decreased by half of the original)
Unlock a new status, leadership (LEA).
Increase free allocable attributes by 10 upon each level up.
Increase LEA permanently by 1 upon each level up.

.
>
Each point of LEA is the number of NPCs you can employ or hire.

.
> cannot be leveled up.

The three girls jumped in joy. This class was something they wanted as their primary class, but they were satisfied with all the perks they could get at the moment.
A buff skill was useful in a group fight or a party raid. The additional status points were also welcomed.
Moreover, their EXP growth was not affected by the penalty!
Misha profited the most as her karma gain from her toe-itching god had been nerfed, but they were now canceled out with this double karma perk.
*Mew* (A villain or a valkyrie, make up your mind, Mish!)
“I’ll take it as a [Villainess Valkyrie]. Meh-Heh-Heh Mew!”
Misha closed her game menu and resumed dissecting Amro’s carcass for red gels.
But the reward ceremony had not been finished yet.
>
>
“Hmm!?”
Misha widened her eyes and turned to Natalie in envy. She wanted one of that, too.
Natalie was surprised at first. But when her eyes met with Misha’s eyes, the former could read the latter’s thought.
‘Ha! Do you want one? Not a chance. I’m using it.’
She stuck out her tongue at Misha and activated her gacha ticket. Then, a necklace appeared.
Misha could not see the attribute of the item, but Natalie’s delighted expression was enough to tell that she liked it.
“Boo. I killed the boss, but I got nothing.”
*Mew* (You didn’t actually kill it. Slicky tamed it.)
They turned toward the tentacle-porn-scene. Slicky and Katia were still busy exchanging body fluid.
At that moment, Misha finally noticed that she was still naked after all these times. She cleaned her body from Slicky white juice and put on her clothes.
*Mew* (About time a banana puts the peel back on.)
“…”
While Misha thought that all rewards had been handled, the server announcement had not finished.
>
>
A ray of light shone upon Natalie’s avatar. The little girl with Mia’s face looked confused at first, but she shrieked after she had learned what she had acquired.
She looked around as if she was afraid of something. Then, she took out the Orb of Binding and used it on her secret item.
Misha could only stare at her in curiosity, “Natalie, what did you get?”
“NOT TELLING!!”
Des and Misha could only let it slide as the girl refused to reveal her secret reward.
Then…
>
“Oh! Finally!”
Misha jumped in joy. She hoped for the same “secret prize” from the game.
>
It was a jackpot!
A new item appeared in Misha’s inventory menu. It was a weird golden key.
>
…
“…Wut?”
The item came with “???” explanation, which could not be comprehended unless they were Martians with all-seeing-eyes.
Misha did not understand the worth of this key. However, she activated the item anyway to see what it could do.

This is a feature for the player to buy or sell your pets, slaves, monsters, or brainwashed NPCs. Using this feature will allow the other players without this option, taming-related occupation, or skill to be able to control one of the merchandises without a penalty.
A master villain, a master tamer, or a master merchant can use this feature without the key.
Be warned, human trafficking reduces karma by 1,000 for each trade. However, selling pets and tamed monsters will not incur a karma penalty.
************************
.
Misha felt like screaming and yelling at Lilith for giving her something so useless.
This feature was something that Misha would eventually get as she had the villain subclass. Once Misha had upgraded her villain subclass to the master level, this feature would come to her naturally without the need for this key.
In other words, it was a wasted opportunity.
“Oh, well. At least, I can do something about those guys,” Misha glanced at Slicky.

The reward ceremony was over, and the game revealed new zones for players to explore. As for the monsters on Newbie Island, they stopped respawning, and they would soon be extinct.
For now, server 10 was safe. Unfortunately, they were not an ideal server to continue protecting.
Misha turned to look at the ruined town. Many corpses of NPCs and a few mentors of the players were still there.
It was surprising that those strong masters died because of the black slimes as they should be able to kill Katia and others easily with their power. Misha guessed that it was a mechanic to prevent all masters from helping the players.
‘Black slimes…’
Misha flipped her notification logs to recheck her server announcement.
.

.
Misha had to reread the messages thrice to ensure that she did not hallucinate.
“Me?”
The Fairy Overlord, the origin of her conscience before “the current” Misha’s memory was overwritten by Min and Mia’s memories.
Misha shook her head and shoved this matter to the back of her head. For now, saving Sasha and securing her server as their home base should be her priority.
