Lilim Heritage Online - Chapter 231 Black Slime Army Arrived
Chapter 231 – Black Slime Army Arrived
Shurka reported the loots that they obtained from the dead Lucien.
100 Random Status Potions,
10 5-Star Upgrade Stones,
A Felionian Skill Book,
A Leporian Skill Book,
And a Random Weapon Gacha Ticket.
As Misha was sorting the aftermath, Sasha, Natalie, and Non flooded the party chat with their protest.
“Misha! You could have waited for us to go back there first! We missed the EXP rewards!”
The latter three were dissatisfied that Misha killed Lucien when they were away, so they did not receive EXP from the kill. As for Des, she did not say anything. Since she made a mistake and died in the battle, her sportsmanship and habit stopped her from demanding compensation as it was her fault.
“Okay, okay. How about this? Moo got his new summon slave, and I got my memory fragment. You all can distribute the loots among each other. I won’t take any of it.”
Appeasing the rioting friends, Misha gave her share of Lucien’s items to the others. She did not take anything but the memory fragment No.2.
After all, a single memory fragment could potentially strengthen her avatar further than those items.
Still, this memory was like a Pandora Box in legends. Unsealing it might bring catastrophic effects to Misha’s conscience.
‘Since this other “Misha” is trying to get this piece of memory, I should draw her here and question her identity.’
The urge to consume this memory piece was still there, but Misha withheld her desire for the sake of her safety.
.
An hour later, Slicky swam around Sanctuary Island and arrived at Volcano Island to pick up the kobolds.
When the pink tree saw many female kobolds, he wiggled his tentacles in delight.
*Slick
“Nope. If I catch you raping one of them, I’ll burn you to a crisp,” Misha summoned her fireball and glared at her slave, threatened to attack the pink tree.
*Slick <>
“…”
Moo, Lucien, and the 2,000 kobolds boarded on the tentacle tree as if he were a ship. As for Shurka and Misha, they flew home by themselves as they did not want to stay around with Slicky.
.
.
The group returned to Newbie Island, where every player had gathered to prepare for the event.
At the first line of defense where the outer city walls located, all players garrisoned on top of the wall, getting ready for a siege battle.
Strangely, nothing had attacked the city yet.
When the green-name kobolds appeared before the players, everyone looked at them in shock.
“NPC Army?”
“Is that the enemy?”
“No, those guys have Wet Banana’s guild tag on their name. They belong to Misha’s guild.”
After Misha added the kobolds as her guild’s mercenaries, everyone had this > tag above their name and power indicator, which was the same as all her guild members.
Thus, players did not attack them. They allowed the gang to enter the city.
The kobold army did not gather on top of the city wall like the players. Misha led them inside the city as back-up guards, protecting local NPCs from a potential ambush from hostile black slimes.
She could only hope that the NPCs would survive after the invasion was over.
Misha looked around.
Players on server 1 had settled down as many organizations and professional teams formed various guilds. Most of them were 1-Star guilds, as it was cheaper and more efficient cost-wise.
However, all rich teams picked a 5-Star guild setting as a starter to accept more members. A total of three organizations bought lands and guild buildings on different locations on Sanctuary Island and its surroundings.
Still, all of them did not fight among themselves. All players participated in this event in earnest, hoping to obtain MVP awards and loots from monsters.
Surprisingly, Giles Corey, the current leader of INWTRUE Guild in server 1, was still around.
INWTRUE on server 1 attempted to hunt a field boss, but they all failed miserably as the NPC’s attack power was unreasonably high. Every boss could kill their tank in one hit even though they had dragonewt tanks.
Even after the class change, these wealthy youngsters in server 1 could not take a boss down. The main reason for it was their lack of synergy and experience in combat.
Dragonewts of INWTRUE guild did not allocate enough points into INT and WIS, but they put them into STM and VIT, which was a standard-setting for a tanking character. Unfortunately, this game treated dragonewts as a magic tanker, which required high INT and WIS like Misha to shine.
Felionians of INWTRUE also allocated too much stats into AGI and DEX, which neglected the specialties of their burst of power and armor penetration. As a result, their damage output was less than Moo and Non could do.
And the most useful race, the demi-fairy, which could utilize crowd-control psychic power, was ignored by Giles and his members. As only females could be demi-fairy, they did not notice the importance and the real potential of these girls. Moreover, Sasha, Natalie, and other sisters rarely socialized with players who were not their friends in real life, so players did not have enough info about the race.
Without the proper usage of these three OP races, none of them managed to accomplish their guild leader’s goal of eliminating the first server by the invasion.
Misha found Giles and his guild members, but she ignored them as she believed that they were not a threat to the safety of this server.
‘The more, the merrier. They are good cannon fodders for the common mobs. As long as players can keep the normal monsters at bay, I can focus on finding the other Misha.’
The players in server 1 were not stupid enough to ignore this event. As they had read the news feeds from other servers, such as server 6 and 10, they were aware of the consequence of this weird game.
Yet, none of them knew about the death game in the hardcore server. Most of them still believed that MWG hid the movements in that particular server, so they could protect their affiliate mining companies.

On the shore, west of Newbie Island, a thousand rafts ferried 3,000 Black Slime soldiers onto the island. As for the other 7,000 that came along in this group, they fell into the ocean. Some of them failed to reach the shore and sunk into the sea.
The clumsy ones lost their host bodies, but their souls were still tagging along with their friends by residing in the 3,000’s kobolds’ mind space. Moreover, 5,000 of those, who fell into the sea, were still alive, slowly swimming toward the island.
*AWOOOO*
Black Slime Soldiers, who resided in kobolds’ bodies, rushed toward the city.
.
.
A few minutes later, a commotion came from the west of the island as 3,000 field bosses with 10,000 strength killed all monsters and players on their sight. Each of them was 2 meters tall and weighed at least 500kg. Their bulky bodies made them look like professional wrestlers or bodybuilders, minus the head of canines.
Every kobold boss had 200,000 HP, which made it hard for local players to kill one of them without teamwork. Thus, these 3,000 field bosses pushed through the lines and reached the outer walls, where the majority of all players defended.
“HERE THEY ARE!!”
“HOLY SHIT! Look at their HP!!”
“200,000 HP!? This is insane!”
“No matter, KILL!”
The players believed that they had the number advantage, and these monsters should not be that difficult to kill. Thus, everyone aimed their guns or threw their magic at the kobolds.
*AWOOOO*
The dog-face field bosses howled and charged at the city wall without a siege weapon.
Hail of bullets, magic, arrows, and cannons rained upon the oncoming bosses.
257!
359!
1,500!
Damages varied as many players from server 1 had crossed over the level 200 barrier. Most of them had changed classes and evolved from the powerless human race.
Unlike a group of INWTRUE players, many of the defenders had the right idea about their status distribution. Some could unleash burst damage to the bosses, some could inflict status effects, and many focused on pure attack power.
Varieties of players formed the right party balance without them realizing it.
*BOOM*
*BOOM*
Within a few seconds, one of the bosses went down. The player who last-shotted the boss was the guild leader from one of the 5-star guilds, Government Authorized Yeeting Smurfs.
A side note, they did not like it when someone called their guild name using his guild’s abbreviation.
“Woohoo! Last shot, baby!”
Reeman, the guild leader, a human player from Milky Way Galaxy, whose race was currently a demi-hydra, danced as he saw the targeted boss’s HP went down to zero.
However, he did not receive any EXP.
“Wait, where is my EXP?”
Black Slime Soldiers could not be killed by normal means. Once their host bodies died, these parasites would always possess the nearest living being. In this situation, Reeman was the closest player.
The ethereal black slime jumped and entered Reeman’s mind space.
The Yeeting Squad guild leader was shocked when his conscience was pulled into a blank white room, which was the same room when he had first fought against a similar black slime in the tutorial.
Seeing a black slime, Reeman understood what had happened to him.
“I remember. This is a creature from the tutorial back then.”
Reeman laughed, “I can’t kill you last time because I was caught off guard. Now, I won’t fail! REEEEEEE!!”
The guild leader screamed as he imagined his game skills.
His soul transformed. His human appearance turned into a lizardman with a dragon armor set and a long glaive.
The black slime also shapeshifted its liquid body, mimicking a kobold.
The two ran toward each other and swung their weapon.
Had Misha been here, she would have been irritated by low-level soul combat that the two had as it was primitive. Both of them did not use any psychic ability to kill others.
A minute later,
The room suddenly darkened, and the black slime left the soul room.

Reeman was shocked by the sudden change.
“WTF!? REEEEEE!! I was in the middle of combat!”
He came back to his senses again and found himself in the demi-hydra pantheon. In confusion, he rechecked his game log.
While Reeman was battling with the black slime in the mind space, his real body stopped moving. Unfortunately, the kobolds had a similar skill set as Lucien, a sword wave. One of the skills cut Reeman’s idling body and reduced his HP to zero while he was in the middle of soul combat.
The black slime escaped and possessed a nearby player, but Reeman’s soul was pulled into a respawned body instead.
Still, he was not aware of the mechanism of this game and how Lilith manipulated this game.
“Crap. My 5-Star items!! REEEEE!!”
He rushed back to the battlefield, hoping to secure the pay-to-win artifacts that he bought.
