Lilim Heritage Online - Chapter 242
Chapter 242 – Tama, the Hidden Alpha Egg
*Mii!!* (Retreat! Retreat!)
Mii took over Shurka’s body and flew away from the monster horde as her master’s avatar began having the [Mentally Exhausted] debuff. Although Shurka managed to fend off all black slimes from her mind space, she could not fight anymore.
She typed the semi-transparent keyboards before her while Mii was piloting her body forward.
A guild message had been sent to inform others.
Shurka: “I can’t fend off the monster army alone. They’re too many slimes!”
.
.
>
Sasha and others, who were defending the outer walls, got the message.
Sasha: “Retreat for now. Get some rest inside the city and get rid of that debuff. We’ll let other players without that status take care of the minions.”
Shurka: “Okay! We’re going back!”
Sasha: “How many kobolds left? How many have you killed?”
Shurka: “I lost count. My stats increased by 10,000ish, so about 10k of them?”
Sasha: “That’s more than enough. Leave it to others. Your soul is at risk if you continue to fight longer.”
Shurka: “Okay!”
With the confirmation from her friends, Shurka rushed back toward the city.
However, the guild chat between the executive members had not ended yet.
Des: “We should dispatch all our guild mercenaries as well. By the way, can we summon Slicky to help?”
Sasha: “Moo, Tama, are you there? Has Misha recovered her body?”
Misha: “I’m back. I’m with Lucien ATM.”
Sasha: “Good. Can you still fight? We need firepower and Slicky.”
Misha: “Slicky is taking care of a million kobolds and all field bosses. He’s busy.”
Sasha: “Can we borrow some of his ropers? His minions are deadly against female creatures, so…”
Misha: “I just allocated some points into my leadership. I’ll go back to Roper Island and hire some more mercenaries.”
Sasha: “Please do. We can’t fight those many monsters on our own. 20% of the players got [Mentally Exhausted] debuff, and they can’t fight slimes anymore. Go and kill as many slimes until you get that debuff. Then, head back to our guild island and get more reinforcements.”
Misha: “Roger that!”
.
.
.
While Shurka was fleeing from the battlefield, Misha returned to battle along with Lucien.
The 9 million kobolds were still there. Even though Misha and Shurka tried to decrease their monsters previously, their number did not seem to reduce.
In reality, they only killed 20,000 slimes, which was less than 1% of their troops.
Lucien looked at the endless mobs and complained, “Are you are going to fight in this endless battle?”
Misha waved her hand, chasing Lucien away, “Go back to Volcano Island. I have my body back, so I can take on these guys on my own.”
“Are you sure? What about your safety when you’re fighting in your mind space.”
*Meh-Heh Mew!* (Tama is the bodyguard! With red gels, Tama is invincible!)
“…”
“You heard her, doge,” Misha snickered.
“Okay. Be careful, woof! As for the stupid cat,” Lucien peered at Tama’s tentacle eyeball, “Don’t overestimate yourself.”
Lucien ran away.
After seeing Lucien running away from the monsters, Misha took flight and began summoning fireballs.
*Mew* (Cast flame field first. Convert all PF into shield HP. I want to see how many HP we can get after we upgraded all of our stats.)
Misha nodded and cast the flame field skill.
*VHOOM*
The fire barrier around Misha’s avatar looked more majestic than usual. However, it was not Tama nor Misha’s attention.
Their eyes gazed at the HP bar and the number in shock.
With her level-29 flame field, 9,500 INT, and 9,200 WIS, 1 PF generated 208.72 HP.
Misha’s current max PF was 18,400.
The result was shocking.
3,840,448 HP of the red barrier looked too stunning and glorious in the sparkling eyes of Misha and Tama, who admired their hard work result to the point that they drooled.
“This is insane.”
*Mew* (We’re so broken, Mish.)
“Are we a world-boss monster now?”
*Meh* (If we start dealing a million damage a hit, then we are.)
It was a pity that the game limited their stats at 10,000. Or else, Misha would have allocated all her previous free attributes to INT and WIS, making her character more overpower.
“Let start hunting. Help me collect as many fireballs as we can while I fight in the soul space.”
*Mew!* (Got it.)
Misha recovered her depleted PF bar by drinking her PF potions, the vitamin drinks.
Then, she froze all kobolds, “Stop moving, you stinking curs!”
Psionic Puppeteer!
All kobolds stopped moving. Unlike slime soldiers or knights, none of them could resist against Misha’s power.
Still, Misha’s mental strength was not strong enough to completely control these monsters, so she decided to stop their movements to buy times. Once Sasha and others recovered from their abnormal statuses, they should be able to fight against this massive army.
While the kobolds were standing still, Tama began casting fireball skill as if she was a bot program. As for Misha, she explored her new powers, searching for useful skills in battle.
Unfortunately, most of them were related to gun usage, such as sniping, no-scoping, hip-shooting, instant-reloading, or bullet-curving, which was useless in this situation since Misha did not use firearms.
Still, she found something interesting.
Her new subclass, journeyman swordsman, gave Misha a passive skill that Giles Corey had, [Swordsmanship]. With this skill, Misha managed to use [Sword Wave], which was the same skill as Lucien and other slime knights.
Misha took a blade, which she had looted from kobolds. It was an iron scimitar with embedded written words, [Very Scimitar, Wow]. She attempted to activate the skill that she had once be able to use with Giles Corey’s body.
Lightning Sword Wave!
*PFSHEEE*
The skill was a failure. It did not activate.
‘Odd. When I was using Giles, I can use Mia’s skills like I’m doing it in mind space. But when I’m in this body, I can’t use it.’
Misha recalled that there were several bugs when she was controlling Giles Corey, so that should be the explanation of that anomaly.
Still, Misha had not given up. Since she had this passive [Inferno Mastery] skill, Misha believed that she should be able to manipulate fire.
Concentrated again, Misha attempted to manifest fire onto her blade.

The game said [Less Chance], which did not translate into [Impossible].
Misha grinned. As long as she had at least one in a billion chance, she could use it.
‘Again.’

‘Again.’

‘Again.’

…
‘One more!’
*VHOOM*
As Misha swung her blade at the army of raging kobolds, a crescent fire ejected from Misha’s scimitar, creating a fire sword wave.
A new skill appeared!
*SWUA*
Penetration! 35,000!
It was an instant kill. Furthermore, the skill ignored the monster defense.
After the skill connected, it also exploded, inflicting AOE explosion damage to the surrounding area of 10 meters.
*BOOM*
Explosion! 100,000!
Explosion! 100,000!
Explosion! 100,000!

Misha clenched her fist as she managed to unlock a useful ability. Although the damage was weak as the skill was level 0 or 1, it had a lot of potentials.
Unfortunately, before she could enjoy using it or check their description, black slimes left the dead kobolds and invaded her soul.
While Misha was occupied on another battlefield, Tama piloted her body as usual. She kept summoning a fireball every 2 seconds, but this eggcat was not satisfied with the current idleness.
Operating her mini tentacles behind Misha’s eyes, Tama activated a hydra skill.
Blast!
*BOOM*
50,000!
50,000!
50,000!
The good thing about this cannonball skill was their firepower, which could hit several targets within their firing range. As the angry kobold gathered in groups, one cannonball hit 5 targets at once.
But Tama had not enough!
*Mew* (If banana Misha can learn a new skill by using something that she can use in real life, can I use one or two, too?)
Tama inherited a bloodline of great monsters of calamity, the hydra race, so her instinct was still ferocious. Even though she was a loser type, which had lost to her siblings in the battle of natural selection inside her mother’s w.o.m.b, Tama continued to use Misha’s body to grow stronger.
She had not given up trying to get back on her feet and become an alpha egg!
Tama observed the kobolds before her. Since these monsters could not move, Tama descended Misha’s body to the ground.
20 Tentacles exited from Misha’s back and palms. All tips of each arm were Tama’s mouths, which were dripping with her saliva.
*SOEK*
*SOEK*
*SOEK*
Tama sunk her tentacles into kobolds’ flesh, drinking their blood.
*Nom-Nom Mew!* (It’s delicious, yet disgusting! I hate the d.o.g.g.y smell!)
500!
500!
500!
Red numbers appeared on the head of victims as Tama slowly absorbed their life.
Also…
+500!
+500!
+500!
The same value appeared above Misha’s character as her HP recovered.
After Tama drank the blood of 10 kobolds, she belched in satisfaction.
*Meh-Heh Mew* (It’s been a while.)
A change occurred in Tama’s eggcat body inside Misha’s chest. Her eggcat body dissolved itself as her core became Misha’s new heart.
.
At the moment, Tama’s real body occupied almost all of Misha’s organs. She replaced Misha’s heart, lungs, ribcages, liver, kidneys, muscles, bones, and other innards with her artificial organs, made by Tama’s blood and flesh.
Unbeknownst to Misha, Tama had already stolen her body completely, but she was kind enough not to kill Misha’s brain and allowed her benefactor to coexist as one being.
Had Tama invaded Misha’s brain, the game would have changed Misha’s race to a hydra!
Normally, this would not happen to any dragonewt, demi-human, or demi-hydra as all symbiosis eggcats suffered from the inferior complex from the lost the vital sibling eating competition.
However, Misha spoiled Tama by feeding her too many red gels. Combined with their past experience, Tama recovered from the STPD, becoming a confident monster like an alpha egg, who defeated all of their siblings.
With such a mentality, she slowly evolved, following her natural evolution bloodline to become a hydra in the future.
Fortunately, Tama valued Misha above her future evolution. She wanted them to grow stronger and be together forever. Thus, the thought of harming Misha was never in her mind.
.
The heart opened its eyeball. Tama revealed her mischievous grin as she looked inside Misha’s body.
*Meh-Heh Mew* (I have the strength. I have the intelligence, and I have the banana partner. What else am I lacking?)
Tama’s converted her 20 tentacle tips into eyes to look around the outside.
Looking at the face of kobolds, Tama had an inspiration.
*Mew Mew!* (I know! I need more mass to evolve! I need more nom-nom!)
One of Tama’s 20 mouths glowed in red light, activating her natural hydra skill.
Flame Breath!
18,480!
18,480!
18,480!
As if it was a flame thrower, a trail of fire devoured 10 kobolds in front of Misha. Its effect was the same as Misha’s flame field shockwave at a close range, which could inflict damage over time.
For every second passed, all burned monster suffered 18,480 damage until they put out the fire! As it was Tama’s natural skill, there was no cooldown or PF consumption!
*Nom-Nom!* (Dog steaks! Grilled doge! More nom-nom!)
While Misha was busy dealing with black slimes in her mind space, Tama kept killing the kobolds as well as eating them.
Also, fireballs kept increasing as Tama never forgot what Misha asked her to do.
No one had realized yet that Misha was rearing a dangerous monster, which would become a powerhouse in the future.
