Lilim Heritage Online - Chapter 244
Chapter 244 – Before the Festival
“Reporting to your majesty, my shadow has landed on server 1 Sanctuary Island.”
Calisto knelt on one knee as she faced her master, one of the 12 hydra heads, who was also one of Mia’s wives.
“Is your responsible server the one with Misha Bloominglily?” Asked the hydra woman, who had the appearance of a charming woman in a black kimono. She stood still while she carried a paper umbrella, looking down on her attendant.
She had black long, straight hair with a hime-cut hairstyle. Combined with her pretty oval face, paled skin, sharp eyes, and Korean-K-Pop features, this hydra woman looked like a model who went through plastic surgery.
Both of them were inside the chamber of the hydra, which located on the 200th floor of Mia’s Babylon Tower.
The ceiling of the room was 5 meters high, and the space of this room was enough to fill two tennis courts. Roman pillars situated at the edge of the chamber, leaving an empty space at the center.
The chamber only had a king-size bed, a tall closet, which filled with kimonos, A hundred maids stood at the side of the wall, looking toward their mistress, and a pile of half-eaten human corpses.
All of them were the players, who the hydra and her servants caught and killed!
The woman’s name was Kiyo, a former evolved alpha egg, who managed to grow into a powerful hydra. Currently, she was ranked 13th among all Tong’s 13 wives, which was the lowest ranking.
It was because she was the weakest hydra of the group, and she was also weaker than Mia’s main wife, the Queen Ant.
“Which Misha, your majesty? His majesty’s former comrade, or the others?”
There was more than one “Misha” in server 1, so Calisto hesitated if she should answer the question.
“All of them. Have you pinpointed their location?”
Calisto nodded, “Two of them are contending on Sanctuary Island, but the others are wandering on the mainland. I have no intel on the remaining four.”
“Four? Aren’t there seven fragments? Shouldn’t there be seven?”
“T-That… I don’t know the detail. I only found vague info from my subordinates.”
“Ah, never mind, then.”
Kiyo dismissed Calisto.
.
.
An hour later, Kiyo finished digging through all intelligence reports from server 1. She then visited Mia, who was still sitting on his throne, looking at the view in a daze.
Currently, Mia reverted his appearance back to his human form when he was still a girly boy, who had just left the child soldier project training camp.
His blond hair, red eyes, and cute face of a 16-year-old pretty girl were still there along with his sweet voice.
He transformed himself into this form as he missed his old days when Misha Statue was still in his mind space. Mia also missed the obnoxious glutton Tama even though he rarely interacted with the eggcat.
One hour in the real world equaled one day in the hardcore server. It had been years since he last saw Misha and his old friends. Even though he heard that Misha began playing in the casual server recently, he wanted to learn more about them.
“Your majesty, Misha and the imposter are about to fight.”
Mia woke up from his trance and looked at his wife with bright eyes as if he was a child looking at his favorite toy.
“Tell me.”
“Calisto and her forces have landed on Sanctuary Island on server 1. Her shadow minions found that slime army and the players were in the middle of a war.”
“How is my Misha’s current strength?”
“Somewhere in 50k, but her opponent is 750k. I don’t think she will make it with their strength gap.”
Mia snickered, “Then, it’s simple. Send your shadow there and cripple the imposter. Let Misha devour her soul.”
Kiyo frowned and sneaked a glance at Mia, observing his expression.
It had been years since Kiyo had become Mia’s wife, but this was the first time that Mia really expressed his happiness when he talked about someone. Even when he was with the Ant Queen, he never revealed the bright smile he currently had.
“Understood,” Kiyo bowed and turned around to leave.
But as a wife who cared about her husband’s mental health and his future, she turned around.
“Your majesty, how is the preparation for the festival is coming?”
“Which festival? Our game’s festival or the OTHER festival.”
“The Heavenly Dragon Gathering Festival.”
“…Ah, that…”
The joy look on Mia’s face disappeared, replaced with anxiety, sadness, and regret.
Kiyo continued, “From Lilith’s guidance, the champion of the previous festival has 50 million overall strength.”
Mia closed his eyes and sighed, “We don’t have to aim for the championship. All we have to do is survive. For now, help me train my friends in server 1. We don’t have much time left until the festival.”
“Your friends still have that apprentice tier classes. I don’t think they can become masters with the remaining time.”
“Don’t worry,” Mia gave Kiyo a fake smile, “I have my grandmother on my side, and Lilith is my sponsor. We’ll be fine. I heard from Lilith that my grandmother is a grandmaster tier, so we have a good chance to make it through the selection process.”
Currently, the hardcore server and the casual server had many points of differences, such as the heritage status system, skill sets, EXP system, and items.
As the name suggested, the hardcore server required players to earn their stats points by improving themselves through combats or self-training. They did not have skill books, consumable status orbs, or any cheat artifact that could help them against monsters. Without throwing away their humanity and embrace the mutation, none of the players could grow or survive in this world.
On the contrary, casual servers had it easy as consumable items, VIP items, or drop items from monsters were plenty. As long as they could survive against Lilith’s trolling tasks, quests, and events, anyone could become as strong as Mia within a couple of years in-game.
Still, many things were similar, such as the main class and subclass systems.
Classes were separated into titles from the weakest to strongest as the following;
Apprentice,
Journeyman,
Adept,
Expert,
Master,
Grandmaster,
Legendary,
And Mythical.
Most NPCs in towns were on the Adept level, but they called themselves masters to encourage players that they had good mentors. Still, they could not help their apprentices anymore when the latter reached the Adept tier.
This was the reason why a sponsor was a necessity. As Mia agreed to work for Lilith, the latter became his sponsor, who could raise their tier to a higher class than Adept.
Unfortunately for Mia, his sponsor was dubious and sinister. He still did not understand what Lilith was scheming by selecting him as a representative of this [Heavenly Dragon Gathering Festival].
Still, he profited from her guidance and Lilith’s help as he managed to slaughter the wicked MWG officers and supporters, even though it came with a cost of friendship and the destruction of the native civilization.
Even to this day, Mia still regretted that he betrayed Shelter 88 people’s trust.
Looking at the painful expression of Mia, Kiyo was concerned. She embraced him and buried his face in her bosom.
“You have us. We’ll make it through this Lilith’s game and the festival game.”

At a distant place beyond the universe that Misha, Mia, and all humans resided, dragons from various galaxies gathered for a meeting in a humongous spherical dome at the size of the Sun from Earth’s star system.
Each dragon was also a titan. All of them were at least 100 meters tall, and their presence alone could make any higher-ups in the Milky Way Government tremble in fear.
Although they called themselves [Dragon], they were from different races. Some of them had many heads as if they were hydras, many of them stood on two legs and had two arms like humans, some of them were like giant snakes with tiny arms and legs, while more of them had fancy wings or color.
This gathering was like a meeting of various dragon species. Aside from representatives’ followers, everyone looked different.
Out of this thousand species, one of them was a white dragon with two wings and four legs. However, it was a scaleless dragon with smooth white skin.
This representative was from the silver dragon race, who had long silver hair, white skin, long neck, and long jaws. The folded silver wings behind its back always glittered with aurora light.
Still, the dragon did nothing but sitting on its prepared seat, waiting for the meeting to begin.
Before her seat, a signboard name tag revealed her name before other dragons, so everyone could learn who the representative of this silver dragon was.
The Silver Empress, Uriel Min
The silver dragon looked around to find her colleagues within the meeting dome.
The meeting place was a giant dome, which left the center open. All participants and their followers rested in the capsule at the edge of the conference room.
Each capsule had an open front booth and a seat, prepared for the representative of the race.
Only the representative revealed their presence within their front cabin to other participants of the other races. At the same time, the followers could observe the meeting in their secret chamber behind the open booth.
The size of each capsule was like a reverse planet, which could house living being underground instead of on the surface. Since each dragon was humongous by nature, these little planets served as their resting place.
Min glanced around and found the capsule of a black dragon. She could see the dragon’s feature, which was similar to her own, but it had a different color.
Both the silver dragon and the black dragon could be considered from the same family tree since their physical characteristic was similar. Yet, the latter’s appearance covered in the thick smog of black poisonous aura.
The black gas emitted from her breath and her wings, which contained a similar substance as a black slime, but it was not in a liquid state like them.
The eyes of the black dragon were also the same color as Min’s, who had red eyes.
The name tag in front of the black dragon was someone that Min, Mia, and Misha despised.
The Goddess of Calamity, Lilith.
Both Lilith and Min’s capsules had a distinctive difference. Lilith’s booth situated above Min and other dragons’ seats as she was an administrator of various universe. However, Min’s status was at the bottom as she was considered a commoner among all dragons.
Their status was like someone from a noble clan and a peasant!
Lilith noticed the murderous intent from Min from several kilometers away. She turned her dragon head toward the latter and winked at her. Moreover, she sent her telepathy to Min.
[Mia has reached the grandmaster rank, and Misha has 50k strength despite being in the apprentice tier. Both of your chess pieces are doing fine in my playground.]
Min flinched. She wanted to cuss at Lilith in public, but she refrained herself.
After all, both of them were planning to cheat on this upcoming festival.
*HWOOM*
While they were waiting for the meeting to start, another being entered the topmost capsule, prepared for the dragon emperor.
Yet, the creature that appeared inside was not something that they should consider as a dragon. It was a humanoid creature, who looked much weaker than everybody here.
Still, no one dared to pick a fight with this person.
The mysterious man wore golden robes as if he were an emperor from ancient China. He had black eyes, black long hair that touched his back, paled skin, and sharp eyes like a phoenix. Sixteen rainbow tentacle wings fluttered behind his back, which revealed a trace that he was also a powerful being that no one could look down upon.
Lilith glanced at the emperor as she secretly clicked her tongue.
‘Li Feihong!’
The dragon emperor looked at everyone, but his eyes stopped at a booth with a missing participant with a name tag, [Xian Tong].
He sighed and shook his head before he began the meeting.
“I won’t waste time with all of you. Our agenda here is the next Heavenly Dragon Festival event! I will reveal the rules and the qualification for the participants now!”
