Lilim Heritage Online - Chapter 251
Chapter 251 – The Lost Memory Fragment, Number Two
Upon using the memory orb number 2, Misha’s vision blurred as the new memory entered her brain.
.
The starry sky was as bright as day. Millions of colorful stars shone upon the square stage at the size of one square kilometer.
Surrounded the platform, a colossus stadium, 2km tall, housed millions of humanoid spectators. This colosseum was an open-air type, which did not have a roof to cover the sky.
All of the spectators came from a different race, but they used their human form to shrink their size, making it easier to observe the show. Despite the mixture of various people from different backgrounds, they did not utter a sound, watching the participants with respect.
The tournament floor was paved with unknown crude silver metal, but they were sturdy enough to hold the weight of the two contestants on the stage.
Two dragons were facing each other on the stage.
One was a 30-ton fairy dragon. She looked like a silver water horse with four legs and a pair of semi-transparent-rainbow wings. Her glossy white scales should have been beautiful under the starry light, but they were soiled by the mercury blood of her own.
The fairy dragon skin revealed Flesh wounds, which caused by sharp objects. Her blood gushed out from the cut non-stop, even though she tried her best to regenerate and reattach her severed veins.
*Cough*
The dragon coughed and spat a mouthful of her mercury blood. Yet, she sneered at her opponent.
“It’s my win, Lilith.”
The fairy dragon’s opponent was an evil dragon, a descendant of the dragon of calamity.
Similar to the fairy dragon’s structure, the 50-ton black dragon also came from a reptilian family. However, her body resembled a crocodile without a scale but with a longer neck and legs. The two black wings behind its back leaked dark smog, which covered her entire gigantic body.
Black blood from a hole in her chest also poured onto the stage. The wound was so critical that the calamity dragon could not rise from the ground.
Still, Lilith smirked.
“No, it’s your lost, Misha!”
The fairy dragon, Misha, frowned. Unable to understand Lilith’s words, she mustered her forces.
A plasma ball manifested above Lilith’s weak body. A blue core siphoned the latter’s strength and condensed into a magnetic field, emitting statics and branches of electricity.
The ball kept growing in size as Misha continued absorbing Lilith’s life forces into the ball.
“If you don’t give up, you’ll die.”
Lilith laughed, “Wrong. You are already dead!”
“Huh?”
Still confused, Misha planned to detonate the plasma ball and kill Lilith.
*BOOM*
The explosion did not come from the magnetic field above Lilith’s head. Instead, the fairy dragon’s body erupted as if someone had detonated several C4 bombs within her body.
Innards, blood, and pieces of flesh meat scattered, severing Misha’s body in half.
The fairy dragon collapsed. Her eyes still revealed the shock of the development.
Misha expanded her senses toward the cause of the explosion.
There was a humanoid figure inside her body, which she did not know when he got there.
“HAHAHAHAHA!! WELL DONE, ADAM!! YOU ARE THE BEST!!”
Despite the injury, Lilith cackled. She was delighted by the sight of Misha’s torn body.
“Of course. For you, I’ll do anything,” Laughed the man inside Misha’s stomach.
Adam was a n.a.k.e.d bald man with red skins, four red compound eyes, and a hundred small tentacles behind his back. It was unknown to which species he belonged, but he definitely did not belong on the stage.
As he was at it, Adam summoned a fire sword and began hacking Misha’s intestines.
The pain that was inflicted upon Misha was manageable. But what tortured her was the violation of the sacred duel pacts and the rules of the festival.
The rule stated that it had to be a one-on-one battle, and no summons, pets, servants, or any third party allowed to join the fight.
Yet, Lilith was using a helper!
“LILITH, YOU CHEATING BASTARD!!”
“HAHAHAHA!! VICTORS WRITE HISTORY, BITCH!! NOW, GO TO HELL!!”
As Misha was weakened by the intruder of their duel, she lost control of the magnetic ball she had created. Lilith stole the plasma ball with her psyche and tossed it back toward Misha.
Misha could not hear even the explosion impact. Her consciousness faded as soon as the plasma ball detonated.

Misha Bloominglily, the fairy dragon, regained her senses again in the colosseum infirmary.
The room was designed to shelter humanoid creatures. The 3-meter ceiling was much smaller than Misha’s home cave. Had Misha had claustrophobic, she would have screamed in horror.
She found herself in the form of a female human.
The blond woman had an ideal figure that any human could kill to get on a bed with her. However, Misha was not happy.
She knew what had happened to her “old” and this “new” body. The old one had been destroyed by Lilith and her cheating partner, while this one was a spare vessel body that Misha had kept as a backup.
This body was weak, young, and fragile. Misha could not even exert her forces properly without hurting her brain.
‘Ugh, this is hopeless. This will take a hundred thousand years before I can get back to my former state.’
Misha sighed in resignation. After this Heavenly Dragon Gathering Festival, she would hibernate and reconstruct her dragon body again.
While Misha was thinking about how she could survive in this harsh universe, a man in emperor robes knocked on the door and entered the infirmary.
He had the features of an Asian man, black hair, brown-yellowish skin, and sharp eyes. The emperor was not considered handsome by the standard of female dragons nowadays, but his facial combination used to be attractive during the ancient era.
It was Li Feihong, the emperor dragon and the host of all dragon festivals.
“Participant Misha, how is your recovery?” Asked the emperor.
“Can I use crude language? I don’t know the royalty vocabulary.”
“I don’t mind.”
“Thanks. Well, it sucks. That bitch cheated the duel, and my primary body died. Now, I have to cultivate my way back from scratch again.”
“I’m very sorry to hear that…”
“Say, what are you doing here? How is the festival? Has someone deal with the cheaters?”
Li Feihong smiled, “You don’t have to worry about that. We’ve arrested her and her collaborators. She’s also disqualified from the tournament and all future festivals. Actually, we’re planning to inform you that you move to the next round, but…”
The emperor looked at Misha’s current state in a pity, “I don’t think you can continue fighting in that body.”
Misha sulked. She lowered her head to hide her teary eyes, “And I worked hard for this day, too…”
Seeing the sad expression on Misha’s face, Li Feihong felt guilty. He patted her head and consoled her.
“This is my fault for letting an outsider into this tournament. Don’t worry, girl. We’ll compensate you with a place to boost your cultivation. You can grow your dragon body back in no time! As a matter of fact, I think you should be able to participate in the festival again within 10,000 years!”
Misha’s eyes brightened. She swallowed her tears and looked at Li Feihong’s face, “Really!?”
“Come with us. We’ll show you the place!”
.
.
.
While the festival was ongoing, Li Feihong guided Misha to the royale palace.
Inside, many female dragons, who disguised themselves as human maids, wandered around and minded their own business, working in earnest.
Some were wiping the windows with clean towels. Some were moping the floor, pillars, and the ceiling, though one of them was still in a baby dragon form, licking the golden marble wall to help the others.
The palace was sparkling clean that the marble floor showed a clear reflection of the maids’ white underwear. One of them forgot to wear anything, and the other had s.e.xy lingerie with an open crotch. Nobody knew what was in their mind.
Upon seeing the arrival of their emperor, the maids stopped what they were doing and knelt.
Li Feihong ignored his retainers and led Misha to his private chamber, “Here!”
Misha’s face twitched. It was the bedroom of the emperor.
Game consoles, a king-size bed, a 146 inch monitor, a desktop PC with various colorful water coolers, a bookshelf, and a 1/1 life-size n.a.k.e.d silicone doll was laying on top of the bed.
Posters of anime girls and 2-D characters were everywhere. It was obvious that this emperor interested in a particular culture.
‘Is he trying to take advantage of my weakness?’
She doubted if Li Feihong was planning to make her his concubine, judging by his action.
Li Feihong observed Misha’s reaction and realized what the suspicious action he had made. His face flushed in embarrassment.
“T-This is a misunderstanding! I didn’t take you here to do that, I swear!”
“…” Misha’s poker face was still the same. She again stared at Li Feihong with doubts.
“T-This way, please! There is a secret room over here!”
Li Feihong pulled a ledger, which opened the door to a secret passage.
It cleared up the misunderstanding. Misha heaved a sigh of relief to see that Li Feihong did not have a bad intention. Although Li Feihong’s awkward action was still suspicious, Misha believed that this v.i.r.g.i.n-looking emperor was sincere.
“… Okay.”
Both dragons got inside the secret passage.
At the end of the long dark corridor, they got to the room with a human-size transparent glass capsule.
The room was filled with many tubes and components that Misha had never seen before. As a fairy dragon who had never touched technologies or science, she did not know what these devices, computers, capsule, or the wires were for.
“What are these?”
Li Feihong smiled, “It’s a VRMMORPG I made!”
“Vee-Ar… what?”
“Let’s say, it’s an online game.”
“A game? I understand a game, but what’s online?”
Li Feihong grumbled and facepalmed. Even though he found it hard to explain game jargon to the dragon, he had his ways with words.
“It’s an alternate universe that you can use to enhance your abilities.”
“Oh!!” Now, Misha understood.
“This game… I meant this alternate universe is still in an alpha state since I’m developing it alone, but I think it will be useful for you.”
“How does this work?” Misha touched the glass capsule with interest.
“Err, let me explain first. Well, that place is called “Chaos Galaxy Online” so you will live there as a dragon within one of the planets. Many hostile natives roam free in that universe, and resources, such as Yggdrasil, Oriharukon, Feihonium, and Soul Cores, are plenty. You can use those to improve your game character, and it will enhance your attributes in real life. Also-”
Li Feihong’s explanation went on, but Misha did not pay attention. She was curious about the tools in this room to the point that she forgot that the emperor was still there.
“Ahem, Misha…”
The cough of Li Feihong snapped Misha back to her senses.
In a panic, she turned around and stood straight.
Li Feihong continued, “Haiz. Let’s do it this way. Please get in the capsule.”
“Oh? Sure.”
“And before that, please take off your clothes first. I’ll have to flood the capsule with neuro liquid, and you will be sleeping in there for a long time. The clothes will get moldy if you keep wearing them.”
“…”
“And please don’t look at me that way. I’m not like Emperor Zhang Tong! I’m not a perverted lolicon that only knows how to make girls pregnant, I swear!”
Coming from a nerd, Misha did not believe him. However, she stripped and entered the capsule nonetheless.

The dream-like memory cut off as the orb’s effect was complete.

As usual, Misha obtained new skills and status attributes.
Normally, Misha should be excited and read the new skill description in glee. But this time, she fell into a daze as she remembered something important.
“The festival… I was there.”
