Little Love Song - Chapter 7
There were a total of 26 classes in Yanzhong’s first year highschool and were divided into part 1 and part 2 base on their grades. The first 13 classes belonged to part 1, amongst them were the class seven whose basketball standard wasnt considered as high, but there were also no obvious shortcomings and was also on the same level as the class four.
Thirteen basketball courts were opened and thirteen matches started at the same time.
Class four adhered to their principle “Everyone must play, everyone must participate”, and Ning Er was in the first team members who would play. He wore a simple white shirt for the game and it was his first time to participate in an official game. The cool breeze gently blew, Ning Er was nervously standing at the end of class four team members and entered the court in silence.
Jiang Chen suddenly reached out from the side, patted his shoulder and smiled: “I’m here, just follow me.”
Ning Er nodded.
The game started, and both sides were evenly matched and evenly balanced. The other would take two points and the other one would take one point, and then the first match was tied.
Class four scored 29 points while class seven scored 27 points only. Maybe because of their good mentality, class four played very well. At first, the class seven could still parry against them, but when the strongest team member in class four started playing, their momentum was completely suppressed.
In the second half, the strongest lineup in class four started playing. They always got the ball and suddenly pulled the score to more than 20 points. For an unprofessional high school students, this gap was almost impossible to exceed, thus class four was winning.
Ning Er quickly handed a bottle of water to Jiang Chen, and the game continued.
At the same time, there was a burst of cheers from the basketball court not far away from them, attracting everyone’s attention.
“Class 6 is always number 1. They are really unbeatable!”
“Shao Bai Han, add oil! Shao Bai Han, add oil!”
(Add oil is a Chinese phrase of encouragement which means do your best/fighting/you can do it.)
“Shao Bai Han!!!”
The class four’s scores had been confirmed. When the students heard the lively cheers from the basketball court where class six and two were playing, they were all tickle to stretch their necks to watch the specific situation. Ning Er pondered for a moment, but before he could react, Jiang Chen who came out of nowhere, suddenly grabbed his arm and pulled him.
Ning Er was stunned for a moment: “Why arent you playing?”
Jiang Chen waved his hand: “It’s determined that our class will win. Also, I want to let other student play ah. Lets go, class 2 is also very good in basketball. They even competed for championship against class 6 last semester. This time, they met in preliminary round, so I want to see how are they playing.”
Ning Er, who had been wanting to see the game from the other side, was pulled by Jiang Chen and took the initiative to move forward.
The two passed through the cheerleaders of class four and went to the next basketball court. From a distance, they could see a group of students standing at the side and blocking the basketball court.
Since Jiang Chen was tall and strong, he took advantage of his body shape and squeezed himself into the crowd.
On the other hand, Ning Er was not that short but his body wasn’t strong enough to squeezed in and most of the students were boys. While he was having a hard time following Jiang Chen, he suddenly heard an excited to almost mournful voice shouting: “Ahhhh, Shao Bai Han, now!!!”
Ning Er looked up.
A white figure passed by almost like a lightning, he was doing a crossover dribble while avoiding the three interceptors. He then jumped and shoot the ball with only one hand. He heard a bang and saw the ball shot into the basket.
