Little Miss Devil: The President’s Mischievous Wife - Chapter 641
In no time, Shen Yi was able to find the exact location of where Feng Zexian was currently hiding. Unsurprisingly, the man was able to find his place back at the Saffron Boulevard where Shen Yi first saw and defeated him.
Two hours after the event in the greenhouse with Xiao Bai, Shen Yi found himself at the Saffron Boulevard with Li Yuren and his team. They entered the old building where Feng Zexian’s business operated.
Their teams split to raid the place easily, but they didn’t expect what happened next. Shen Yi and Li Yuren were separated from their teams.
It was as if Feng Zexian had expected their arrival; he used the water sprinkle in the ceiling to drug Shen Yi and Li Yuren’s men. It was too late for them to realize what had happened before they fell unconscious on the ground.
The next time Shen Yi recovered his consciousness, he held his head in one hand and groaned.
“Take it easy, we were doused with a highly potent drug,” he heard Li Yuren say near him.
The room was dim-lit, and it was hard for Shen Yi to distinguish where they were.
“Where are we?” he asked Li Yuren.
“I don’t know.” Li Yuren tugged the tie on his wrist to loosen it a bit but failed.
“It’s good that both of you are awake.” A deep voice chuckled, resounding within the darkroom.
Feng Zexian was pleased; not only had he tricked Shen Yi into thinking that he was after his wife, but he hadn’t failed in his plans to capture him with Li Yuren.
“Ah, so this is your plan. Such an expecting thing from a small vermin like you.” Shen Yi remained calm whereas Li Yuren was slightly agitated by their situation. “So what do you plan to do now? Kill us?”
“Well, I’ve sent my men to kill your wife and daughter as insurance so even if you managed to escape today, there’s no home for you to return anymore. Even if I died today, I’ll still win,” Feng Zexian said amusedly, “Do you want to beg now, Shen Yi?”
“Wow, you are smarter than I thought you were,” Li Yuren chimed in.
“Keep dreaming. One of these days, trash gets picked; you better be ready when it comes.” Shen Yi smirked.
“You’re about to die, and you still have some guts to insult me? Good. Very good, Shen Yi, Li Yuren. I’ll make sure that you’ll regret crossing my path.” Feng Zexian snapped at them before leaving.

Sun Mingai’s reaction was within Lu Xinyi’s expectation, but nevertheless, this tragedy could have been avoided if her aunt didn’t succumb to her own insanity. Her parents would have been alive and with her if only Sun Mingai learned to let go of her hatred.
Shutting her eyes close, Lu Xinyi knew that the ‘what-ifs’ wouldn’t be able to change anything now. Sun Mingai would have to live in misery while she had to accept her parents’ death.
As for Sun Feiyan, she’d have to do her own work to find the truth about her father’s death. Neither she nor Lu Xinyi wanted to stay any longer, and they were about to leave the place when Zhang Qing came rushing towards them.
“Miss, there’s a problem. The whole estate is surrounded by Feng Zexian’s men,” she informed Lu Xinyi.
Lu Xinyi quirked a brow. “I thought you said that Feng Zexian and my aunt had a rift between them?”
Zhang Qing heaved a sigh and pursed her lips. “Miss, it seems like he wants her dead, too. Fu Rui was sure that there was no danger lurking around before our arrival. Their sudden appearance must be connected with Boss Yi.”
“What do you mean?” Lu Xinyi strode towards the nearest balcony and peeked outside. Indeed, just like what Zhang Qing said, suspicious men were lurking outside the garden of the estate.
“Fu Shuren coordinated with Qiao He, but he said Boss Yi left earlier bringing a few guards with him…”
There was a hint of hesitation on Zhang Qing’s voice that Lu Xinyi noticed.
“Zhang Qing!” She warned her bodyguard before demanding an answer. “Tell me where my husband is!”
Zhang Qing was startled from her miss’ outburst and didn’t dare to keep her in the dark. “Miss, we lost our contact with him and General Li an hour ago. Qiao He didn’t want me to inform you, but…”
Lu Xinyi narrowed her eyes and then looked around her. Her aunt was sitting with her shoulder slumped forward as if the shock of finding out the truth was enough for her to lose her sense. By now, Sun Mingai didn’t care if she died today. There was nothing important to her anymore as she sobbed quietly, holding unto the ring that never reached her.
Shen Yi was gone again, well… missing with Li Yuren. How come that whenever her husband disappeared, Li Yuren was involved? She knew that to be able to seek help to rescue her husband, they should be able to get rid of the danger outside.
“What are we going to do?” Sun Feiyan had overheard their conversation, and from the looks of it, they were trapped inside the mansion. Feng Zexian wanted them dead this time, and the moment they step outside will surely be the end of their lives.
“Feiyan, do you mind if you call Li Qiao for help?” Lu Xinyi asked her.
Lu Xinyi wasn’t acquainted and friends with the woman, and there’s no other person she knew that could send back up to rescue Shen Yi and Li Yuren except for the Li family. After all, the Li family had been in the military and must know the in and out of the underworld where Feng Zexian came from.
“Alright,” Sun Feiyan said before making a call. She also made sure to inform Ye Xingjie of their current situation at the Sun Estate.
Lu Xinyi had her four bodyguards with her while Sun Feiyan brought upon Ye Xingjie’s insistence. Did they have enough people to protect themselves?
“They want us dead? Too bad, I don’t plan to leave my Qing Qing and my twins alone anytime soon,” Lu Xinyi mumbled to herself but was loud enough for Zhang Qing and Jiao Jiao who had just arrived with the Fu Siblings.
She eyed the four, and a thought crossed her mind. Since they started following her, these wolves had forced themselves to sheath their claws and hide their fangs. Weren’t they called Bloody Wolves for a reason?
These people were wild and potentially dangerous. To this day, Lu Xinyi still could comprehend what made them submit themselves to serve her when she did nothing but show them kindness. She didn’t think it was enough to dedicate their lives to servitude.
“I’ll make an exception today…” she told her bodyguards. Closing her eyes, she wondered if this was the right thing to do, but with their lives being at stake, Lu Xinyi knew that either they fought their way out or let those people kill them.
“Secure the area; you know what to do with those pests. Show them why the Bloody Wolves became legendary. Want to kill this Madam Shen? Then, they must know the consequences of their actions.”
