Lost Legacies - Chapter 2: Chapter 2: "Hibernation"

In a forest near Dragon city there was a car on flames and 2 burnt corpses near it,

after some time one of the burnt corpses started to shine it was the bracelet on one of the corpse.

Hugh came back to his senses and started getting up from the ground ” god dammit i didn’t think the car would kill me haha”Hugh laughed sadly at hi own incompetence .

its seemed that the bracelet had Quintessencial properties and that’s what bringed back Hugh from death door, but unfortunately the bracelet became withered and disappeared from his hand “i knew i should have killed all of them when i retired, and out of my 3 legacies i found in the Tombs of the lost kings , only one remains” Hugh knew the uses of 2 legacies.

They where a bracelet and a ring the bracelet as you can see had the effect of bringing back the dead, and his ring could take away his life force to make time slow down its was very costly so he only used it 3 times in 10 years of having it and he used 3 years of his life in total, the first time was because he didn’t know the effects and tried it while the other occasions where in battles whit 1 Essence and 1 Quint expert.

The Third one he never knew the use of because the king who had it never left a note behind like the

the one who had the bracelet, who made an entire wall depicting on what the bracelet effects where

while the ring users was a simple note saying life = time.

“What the hell am i supposed to do now if i show myself i will be hunted by the bastards and i’m very tired”Hugh took the necklace from his neck and thought about using it (well why not try this shit out its might give me peace)Hugh thought.

After putting a little bit of essence … after about 2 minutes the necklace started shining Hugh didn’t really know what to expect soo he just stared at it and after a while he blacked out …. everything was dark but he was conscious.

After 100 years had passed and the magical technology on Skis has developed for more practical use instead of battle oriented use because after an incident where where a weird explosion took place near Dragon city that killed 80% of the population all the nations feared that might happen to them as well so they all banned the use of magic for combat and war instead they developed more on the technological side of essence and made lots of new inventions like hover machines or smart animals that can talk.

Either way the world seemed to be in peace until 10 years after they began to test whit battle oriented Essence and Quint, that’s when someone named Legacius Stern came and made a new way of Battle whit Quint and Essence.

After another 100 years of developing the Legacies System the Human Golden age has disappeared,

and came the Age of War against “Talking” Monsters that could use Essence and Quint that when the problems started for about 10 years humans where alright and could keep up whit the monsters growing but after another 10 years the monster just kept growing and multiplying until humans where cornered and all the nations made an alliance and created a new city where all of them where living but only the strong could stay there while the weak had to stay in dangerous locations.

In a forest near a village Brightly lit door opened the door was so bright that the night seemed to became day for a brief period of time because of that the townsfolk started speculating that another Transcendent monster has been born, so the villagers became worried and they made a post on the Legacie Network and showed the picture to the Guilds near them so that Legacie users will come and kill the monster.

Out of the door came a teenager who looked very confused at the moment,

“uhh where am i “Hugh who was sleeping for 230 years had a hard time remembering what happened before he blacked out “uhh .. my name is … Hugh i don’t remember my family name though” after some time he got a headache and fell unconscious for almost an hour when he woke up he still had a headache but not that bad anymore and he had a tattoo on his arm its looked like door whit chain beside locking it.

I’m so happy ^^ i saw that my story got over 700 views , yay i made this just for fun and see if i can at least make others enjoy what i write i was always bad at language class but i always liked stories and Novels
