Amelia felt him pull her closer but she didn’t mind and once they were comfortable she fell back asleep. Nothing happened and she woke up in the morning and was slightly confused for a moment at what was going on.

“I vaguely remember you coming back. I just did not expect to still be in your arms.” Amelia blushed and there was a knock at the door.

“Come in.” Gabriel’s voice called out at the person at the door but he did not move.

Clarence came into the room and froze as he saw the sight of the two snuggling on two beddings. “Well, I guess this means there will be grandbabies in the future.”

“Old man, that is not what happened. We are still pure. I held onto my loved one all night. You and your dirty mind. You already have two grandbabies.” Gabriel rolled over and glared at Clarence.

“Yeah, yeah. I know that you honour traditions. It is one of the reasons that I have not said anything about you staying in the same room. Amelia, are you okay? Do you mind coming out so that I can check you out? I would like to do that before I leave.” Clarence softens his tone and requests Amelia to come out of the bed.

Gabriel gives her one last hug then sets her free. “It is important that you get checked out by the professional but I can tell that you are doing better.”

Amelia nods her head and slowly gets up. She walks over to the chair and sits down. “I am feeling better than the last time you checked me out, Father Clarence. It is weird that I’m fluctuating. I usually take a lot longer to bounce back and then I feel good then I get hit with an attack.”

Clarence listens to her chest closely. “Hmmmmm, it has cleared up. You are right in saying that it is strange. I wonder if it is because you have been getting fruits from the god and goddess of the mountain? Maybe that is stabilizing you? As a doctor, I would not say this but if you get more, eat it. You are well enough to go into town with Gabriel.”

“Thank you, Father Clarence. I will go with Gabriel since I have your permission. I will also come to the hospital and get checked after shopping. If I am well enough do you mind if I observe Gabriel while he teaches Subaru?” Amelia requests permission.

“I would not say no. You are free to do what you want but if you start to feel unwell or tired you can always come here and you can use the resting room that is set aside for Gabriel.” Clarence gets up and leaves the room. “I am also stealing Kazuki and dragging his ass to the hospital. I have a lot to teach that useless bloke.”

“Okay, Father. Be safe on your trip. I will be there when Subaru is awake. I know that a lot happened yesterday.” Gabriel sat up and stretched a little.

“Alright, I will see you both later.” Clarence leaves the room and hunts down Kazuki and finds him in front of Gabriel’s door. “So this is where you were. Gabriel isn’t in there.”

“Shit. No wonder he didn’t come out no matter how many times I knocked. Well, let’s go.” Kazuki looked at the door and left with Clarence.

Gabriel got up and hugged Amelia as she sat in the chair. “I am glad that you are doing better. Will you open the gift now?” After he was done hugging her he handed the gift to her.

Amelia nodded her head and took the package. “Thank you.” She slowly and carefully opened the package. On top was the hairpiece. She stared at the yukata and tears pricked her eyes. “This is beautiful.”

There was another knock on the door. Then the door slid open. Miyuki looked into the room and smiled. “Good morning, I have come to deliver breakfast. I knew that you were awake because the Master came from the room. Amelia, is everything okay?” She rushed forward.

Amelia nodded her head. “It’s just that this gift is so beautiful.” She picked up the pouch and the hairpiece smiling.

“If I knew that you would like it this much I should’ve picked out a few outfits.” Gabriel covered his mouth happily but embarrassed. He turned away but his ears were red. Miyuki lifted the yukata and added it to a post. “Young Master has very good taste. I think that this will look lovely for your official marriage meeting tomorrow.” She picked up the obi and laid it over the yukata.

“Gabriel, I love it. It is the most beautiful yukata that I have ever had the privilege of wearing. I will wear it for you tomorrow.” Amelia smiled while watching Gabriel.

“My father asked for help. I told him that I would pick out a good yukata for you. When I saw this one at the shop I knew that it was the one for you. I did not want you to have to wear that same outfit but I guess there are a lot of yukatas here to choose from.” Gabriel turned around and smiled at her sweetly.

Amelia got up and threw her arms around him. “I really love it. I love it even more that I know that you are the one that picked it out for me.” Tears were in her eyes and she pulled back smiling while the tears started to fall.

Gabriel lifted his hands and wiped away her tears. “I am glad that you like it this much. Let’s go and eat breakfast.” He lifts her up and carries her to the table.
