Love Is So Sweet - Chapter 31
After talking to his father Jun could pretty much guess what the guy’s next move was going to be. Every time Jun disobeyed his father, he would get scolded. So it was obvious that his father would come to his place and scold him. When he was little when Jun wanted to get his father’s attention he would usually do something that went against his father’s orders. That was the only way he could meet his father face to face. Yet as he grew up, he wanted his father’s attention less and less, until finally, Jun decided that the man he called his father was never going to give him the attention and love he so craved.
As Jun grew up he figured that such a man that neglects his family, and only focuses on his job, and growing his company, was not worthy to be viewed as a father.
…
Jun headed back to his apartment and quickly changed his clothes, he wore a more proper attire. He needed his father to know that he was serious, and the only thing his father considers serious is business. So he needed to dress appropriately.
He took out his best suit and tie, he even took out the dress shoes he never wears. Once he took one look at the mirror, Jun noticed that his hair was a bit messy and started putting hair clay to fix it.
After seeing his overall look Jun noticed that he was missing something, and got the watch his mother gifted him and wore it. Jun never really liked dressing up like a businessman, since it reminded him so much of his father, but right now he had no choice.
…
After half an hour of waiting, as Jun expected his father arrived. Now in his penthouse, right in front of him was his father looking at him with a calm demeanor.
“It’s been a while since we last saw each other, Jun.”
“If it were up to me, I never want to see you again, father,” Jun replied with a sarcastic smile on his face.
“Hmph, enough pleasantries, you know what I came here for.”
“Oh, too bad, I was about to offer you milk and cookies. So what did you come here for? Did you just come to show me your frowning face, if so then I had enough, thank you for showing your ugly mug, goodbye.”
“Wow, you did all that in a day, and in the comfort of your office no less. It must be hard work throwing away your money to help the crazy daughter of one of your business partners.” Jun was slowly clapping his hands as he said all these things.
Tang Wu, was getting extremely pissed at his son for talking like this to him. But he knew that if he did anything at this moment, he would just be doing what his son wants him to do. Playing into the hands of this delinquent son of his wasn’t something he ever wants to do. Tang Wu looked at his smiling son and sighed.
“Fine then, tell me why do you keep on rejecting Edrea? If I remember correctly you two were very close friends, and as I said in my last phone call, Edrea is the whole package she isn’t lacking anything, what do you not like about her? If you give me a reason that I can accept, I might, I just might let this go. Do you have another woman you like? Are you seeing someone, is it that girl you supposedly protected from Edrea?”
Jun was still smiling mockingly at his father, while he remained silent. He looked like he had everything under control, but right now in his head was chaos. He was thinking as fast as he can as to what to reply to his father. This was a turning point, one wrong statement will make the situation worse.
“Well Jun, answer me.” Being pushed by his father for an answer just pressured Jun even more.
“First of all, as I said to you countless times. I. DO. NOT. LIKE. EDREA. THAT. WAY. I liked her as a friend, not as my fiancée. Also, you’re right I already have someone I’m interested in. It was love at first sight for me and her.”
“Who is she?”
“It’s the girl Edrea harassed the other day.”
“What’s her name?”
