Love Is So Sweet - Chapter 47
After the teams were decided the group went into Sparta Paintball. Once they were done paying for the use of the gear and facilities, Lisa and the group went to the dressing room to change into a more appropriate attire that they rented for the game.
…
After a few minutes, the boys and the girls finished changing and left the dressing rooms. The four were now wearing Long sleeve shirts and long pants with combat boots. The four then wore the headgear and other equipment necessary for protection and once they were ready they went into the combat area.
At first, they were going to talk about what kind of game they would play, but Jun was quick to suggest an Elimination game. Seeing Jun’s look Matthew had no choice but to agree, while Jeniffer and Lisa had no experience in paintballing so they didn’t know what’s what.
Jun gave a brief explanation to the girls about what an Elimination game was. To put it simply it was just shooting the other team first until one of you remains. After that Jun explained how to use the paintball gun and some basic paintball etiquette.
When Jun was done explaining everything to the two girls the group headed into the playing field.
…
Jun and Lisa were situated on the other side of the field, which was quite small seeing as they were only four players. The distance to the other team’s starting point was just a few meters away. But in the middle of the field were a ton of obstacles that one could use to shield oneself from enemy fire.
While he was double-checking his equipment Jun noticed that Lisa was looking around a bit warily before the game even started.
“Are you alright?” Lisa jumped up in fright as she accidentally fired a shot towards Jun. The shot missed but Jun was still startled by Lisa’s sudden action.
“Whoah there, it’s just me.” Jun lifted his arms.
“I’m sorry Jun… It’s just that, I’m just a bit nervous.”
‘This is just a bit?’ Jun thought, but of course, he would never say that out loud. He then grasped Lisa’s hand like he always does to calm her down.
Jun was about to say something to calm Lisa down, but the siren that signifies the start of the game clanged. Lisa tensed up when she heard the siren and clung onto Jun’s long sleeves.
“Don’t worry Lisa I’m here for you… But if you want to stop the game you just need to tell me. No need to force yourself if you’re that scared. So do you want to stop the game?”
Lisa looked at Jun who seem to be genuinely worried about her. Her heart was beating a bit faster like usual when she sees that expression of his. She really was confused about what she was feeling every time Jun shows her such concern.
Lisa then shook her head.
“So we’ll continue the game?” Lisa answered by nodding her head. She was a bit fidgety about the whole situation but knowing that Jun was with her made her feel safer.
“Just stick to me and I’ll protect you.” Once again Jun reassured Lisa, using his smile and confidence. Lisa hearing what Jun said at the exact timing she was feeling various emotions made her blush.
It was like she had completely no defense against Jun’s actions and words. Every time she thought she could stop blushing in front of Jun, he makes her blush with little to no effort at all.
Lisa was then about to thank Jun when somebody started shooting at them. Lisa was surprised and clung tightly to Jun. If it was anyone else they might find this handicap too much, but Jun needed to keep up his white knight facade in front of Lisa.
He quickly picked her up and started running while carrying Lisa in a princess carry. Lisa was already surprised by the sudden attack, but the princess carry caught her even more off guard.
If the attack by Jeniffer and Matthew scared her, Jun’s princess carry almost made her faint.
