Love Is So Sweet - Chapter 64
A few days after the confession the person sent by Jun’s father was finding the lack of contact between the two rather worrisome. He was thinking if he should contact Jun’s father. But after thinking about it for a while, the observer decided not to do it.
He was only doing this job because of the payment, aside from that, he didn’t really have any loyalty to Tang Wu. Also, after observing the two he could tell that there was something off about them.
He could pretty much guess that the two had feelings for each other, but they weren’t there yet. The observer was pretty sure that at this point Lisa and Jun weren’t a real couple. More evidence to that fact was the question Lisa just posted online. She asked her fans what the main female lead should do regarding her situation.
The observer was obviously following everything that two were doing, so he also read Lisa’s new work, Love is so sweet. After reading about it for a bit, it was easy to deduce which character was which in the real world.
The observer was a man named Reginald, and he too was a father, but his views of parenting differ from Tang Wu’s. He was looking at the comments on Lisa’s Love is so sweet. It had a ton of comments regarding her recent post about what Alisa should do.
Most of the comments were pushing Lisa to simply make the male lead and the female lead into a real couple. The second most commented were the people telling her that Alisa should help the male lead to hook up with the other girl as well. Seeing how much the other girl loves the male lead, they wanted the two girls to be both happy.
Usually in male lead stories, when the main male character was rich, the girls were pretty alright with multiple women being his partners, since he could support them. Unfortunately what Lisa wanted wasn’t really advice on how the novel should be written, but actual advice on how she should proceed in her own love life.
‘Should I give her advice? It does seem like she listens to her fans a lot. Unhealthy, but in this situation, it might help. Jun’s been trying his best with Matthew as his backup, but for the last three days, Lisa hasn’t been leaving her apartment. It is worrying… Heh, I’m already helping them by not reporting this to Tang Wu, might as well go all in and help them some more. Either way, I get paid and I’m also interested in how her story is going to end.’
Reginald then started to type on his smartphone. After double-checking it for a bit he smiled and pressed send.
…
Lisa who has been in her apartment for the last three days was looking at the comment section of her last post. There have been many comments, advice, and other things, but none of them felt right to her. She wasn’t sure that doing what her fans were proposing would help her current situation.
On the other hand, if she thought about it on her own, it might take too long a time. She didn’t want Jun to wait that long, for her answer. As she was still agonizing on what to do, while refreshing the page, she noticed a new comment. It was a rather long one at that.
“Dear Ms. Lisa. I’m one of your new fans that really like your current work. I don’t know much about your previous works, as I am not really a fan of mystery. But your current work has gripped my heart. The story is pretty standard, but the characters, they feel alive somehow. It’s as if I could’ve met them while walking down the sidewalk.”
“I’m sorry about that long intro, I just wanted to express how much I like your work. But regarding your question about what Alisa should do. I’m not really the writer here, and surely you have your own thoughts on what Alisa should do, but seeing as you have asked for our opinion I just wanted to share mine as well.”
“I think that Alisa right now is scared, not for herself as you some may believe, but she’s scared for Jung. She doesn’t want to hurt him with half-as*ed feelings, as he has given her his heart. But hesitating like this also affects Jung. She might think that doing it half-heartedly would make things worse, but at this point, it’s her best solution. Seeing as she and Jung are currently fake dating, the two of them should continue with that. She should just forget about the confession and for now, move onward the same as usual. So for this moment until the end of their agreement, Alisa should treat the fake dating as a trial run. She should tell Jung that she would give him an answer once the trial run was over. Surely at that point, she should have her answer.”
“In fact, I think she already has an answer, but being who she is. She cannot see that answer that’s already there. I hope this helps you with your work. From one of your loyal fans. I hope to see the ending you dėsɨrė.”
