“Paul, I’m sorry. I’m out of money at the moment but you don’t have to worry. I’ll pay you back as soon as possible.” Mandy held his hand and beamed at him. “Please give me a few more days. I will pay you by then.”

“Again?” Paul snorted. “Isn’t that what you promised me last time?”

“I’m serious this time, I swear!” Mandy tried to sound as polite as possible because she knew these kinds of people. They could do anything for money. If she wanted to get out of here alive, then she shouldn’t offend them.
