Lovely Awakenings - Chapter 9 Viole
They’d come from mount Olympus, just to be part of the fight, Nicky had explained as Sakura created a layout of what remained of the immortal realm known as Pandoria.
“The Cara-Truka, will try to attack from this point,” Sakura pointed at the coal mines that connected underground tunnels to the Forgotten forest, “it’s their only choice.”
“The Forgotten will kill them before they even set foot in their forest,” Nicky said and all agreed.
“True, but there is another alternative,” Saya who’d kept quiet the entire time said, as she polished her swords.
“And what would that be?” Aro asked his eyes changed from a blazing read to a torment gray, until they settled only a lovely violet.
“The Gates,” Sakura said remembering how the last time she’d been with Nia and Joey the last Gatekeepers they explained that any Ancient, or descendant of an Ancient could open the Gates.
“The Gatekeepers won’t allow it,” Saya said but realizing to late her mistake, all she said was, “were all doomed.”
“I wouldn’t say that,” Violet said as she appeared before them with Crystel and Alex by her side.
“Madam Mussels,” Arrow and Yulis said in unison as they fell to their knees.
“Do stand,” Crystel said, as she took in the old library, not much of it had remained since the war had begun, back when Edith was captured. Violet foresaw it in a vision, but chose to keep it to herself, being as it was already too late.

“Well yeah, I mean, you guys aren’t exactly known for taking sides unless you’re getting paid. Which in this case you’re not,” Sakura said.
“We have our reasons for being here, you should be grateful,” Alex said as he picked up a dusty old book that seemed to be falling apart.
“We are, but one can’t help but wonder what you’re true intentions are,” Saya said.
“Isn’t she amusing?” Violet asked, as she played with a Frost-Flame.
“I suppose,” Crystel, said as she wrapped a strand of fiery-red-hair around her index finger, “now should we tell them?”
for visiting.
“I don’t know,” Alex said, his eyes a swirl of colors.
“Tell us what?” Yulis asks.
“Lady Katalina has sided with us as have Gabriel and Lady Tessa, and some of their acquaintances,” Violet said clearly not amused by the elongation Alex and Crystel had schemed.
“You lie,” Jaime said as everyone surrounded Violet, Alex, and Crystel.
“Believe what you will,” Alex said as he wrapped one protective arm around Violet and another around Crystel, “we’ve done our job, now we go.”
“Wait!” Arrow shouts as dark mist forms around Alex, Violet, and Crystel.
“What?” Alex asked as the mist continued to thicken around them.
“Does she live?”
“For now,” was the last thing Violet said as the myst consumed them
