Loving The Devil - Chapter 3
Phillip had been faithful for the first three months he was with Chloe. To him, the only reason to stick around was for her virtue. He felt like he deserved to have it. It’s not like he was ugly. He stood 5’9, crimson red hair, brown eyes, fairly built and from a good family background. Who wouldn’t want to be with him? He just couldn’t figure out Chloe and why she wouldn’t sleep with him. Telling himself, it’s her fault he sleeps around. If she would just give in and let him have her, then he would leave. She is the one that keeps dragging this out.
He turns to Chloe “It’s ok, sweetie, why don’t you stay to finish up here and I’ll drive Sally home. On the way back I can bring you some food? Sound good? Let’s go, Sally.” Before Chloe had a chance to respond they both walked out the door chatting amongst themselves.
Chloe left alone, thought about calling Sam back just to sit with her. She didn’t like being left alone. While thinking to herself, she hears the sound of the cafe door open, footsteps walking around. She walks to the dining area looking down to fix her apron “Phillip, did you forget som….” When she looked up, she saw a breathtakingly mysterious tall man standing in front of her. Chloe has never encountered a man so devilishly handsome that it made her forget what she was saying. So she just stood there staring at him, not making any sound.
In a hurry, she spits out “closed.” This man looks at her knowingly smiles; his perfect white teeth glisten under the fluorescent lights. “Miss….” Chloe understood that he was waiting for her name. However, all she could do was smile and nod. It seems she has forgotten her name. “Ummm… Are you ok Miss? I hope I didn’t startle you. I broke down just outside and wanted to know if I could use your phone?” Chloe finally regained her composure and managed to speak. “H…hi m…m…m…my n…name is Chloe.” Chloe slapped her forehead with embarrassment. “Miss Chloe, pleased to meet you, I am Ryan. I apologize for the intrusion, but as I said my car broke down, and I need a phone.” He thought using a fake name would make getting to know her easier.
“Sounds like you are up to something Sir. Seriously, who doesn’t have a cell phone anymore? How old do you have to be not to have a cell phone?”
“Miss Chloe I’m 35, how old are you, that you still make ȧssumptions? I have no Ill intentions towards you, and I do have a phone it’s just dead. I forgot my charger… at home.” He wanted to say his other car but didn’t want to scare her away with money. He found her to be quite charming, a little weird, but most of all he felt like his heart was going to burst from his ċhėst, it was beating so loud. This woman that stood before him was bewitching. He has never before seen such a beautiful sight. When she spoke her lips were inviting, almost as if begging for him to kiss her. “Oh, I apologize” She flirtatiously laughs. “I just ȧssumed, and I shouldn’t have. I do have a phone you can use.” Handing Ryan her cell while keeping her eyes on him. She didn’t want to look away and felt that he didn’t either. At this time he decided to call his phone so that he could have her number, then he called his driver to pick him up. “Miss Chloe” “Just Chloe please, miss sounds too formal.” “Chloe then. Thank you for allowing me to use your phone. You have a wonderful night.”
“Ryan, wait… um since you have to wait why don’t, I make you a coffee. It won’t take long. Promise.” She knew she had Phillip, but for some reason, she didn’t want to let this man leave. She felt that if she let him leave she may never see him again.
Beaming brightly Ryan walked over to Chloe. Invading her personal space, getting just inches away, intentionally speaking in a low voice, almost a sėxy whisper. “You don’t want me to leave do you?”
