Loving You Too Much - Chapter 410
Li Qin Yao head over to the hospital once she heard the news of the accident.
When Zhang Jing noticed that there was something wrong with his granddaughter-in-law, he had taken the phone from her and talked to Qi Zheng calmly. Knowing that Li Qin Yao was not able to drive in her condition, Zhang Jing had asked Assistant Huo to come over and drive her to the hospital.
The little princess was put under Auntie Wu’s care as both Zhang Jing and Li Qin Yao head over to the hospital.
On their way, Li Qin Yao had browsed through some news portal on her phone and saw the news regarding her husband’s accident. It was reported that a drunkard had accidentally mistaken the accelerator as the brake. The car lurched forward and slammed against the car which Zhang Yu Han and Qi Ming Wei were in.
According to the news portal, four people were involved in the accident: Zhang Yu Han, Qi Ming Wei, and his driver and the person who slammed into their car.
The accident happened around the airport, and the onlookers immediately called the ambulance.
Li Qin Yao could not stop trembling as she read the news. Noticing her condition, Zhang Jing immediately took her phone away and held her hand tightly to comfort her.
Looking at the state of his granddaughter-in-law was in, Zhang Jing knew that he could not afford to be weak. He was as surprised as Li Qin Yao upon hearing the news but had chosen to calm down immediately and be the pillar to support her.
When they arrived, someone had greeted them in Qi Zheng’s place at the hospital entrance and led them towards the operating theater.
Li Qin Yao exhaled in relief when she saw Qi Ming Wei sitting in the wheelchair. The man had his head in a bandage and his right arms in a sling. Seeing that Qi Ming Wei’s condition was not serious, Li Qin Yao had thought of her husband the same.
However, she soon noticed that something was not right. She could not see Zhang Yu Han at all.
“My husband,” Li Qin Yao spoke with a trembling voice as she met Qi Ming Wei’s gaze. “Where is he?”
The man stared back at her calmly but seconds later, his gaze changed and Qi Ming Wei looked away. “He is still in the operating room.”
“What happened,” Zhang Jing asked as he sat down at the waiting area with Assistant Huo’s guide.
Qi Ming Wei frowned as he tried to recall what happened.
They have arrived at the airport and had entered the car to head over to his office. The driver stopped at a three-way junction when a vehicle from another side suddenly rammed into theirs.
Zhang Yu Han and the driver’s condition were worst than him because he had received the most impact. Qi Ming Wei’s injury was not as bad because Zhang Yu Han was blocking the impact for him.
Qi Ming Wei passed out for five seconds. When he realized that they were in an accident, Zhang Yu Han’s body was leaning towards him and he had passed out.
There was blood everywhere.
Qi Ming Wei immediately noticed that Zhang Yu Han’s legs were stuck between the car. He forced himself to calm down and dialed a number.
Fortunately, the road was not isolated. Some passerby quickly helped them and the help arrived in time.
On their way to the hospital, Qi Ming Wei had immediately given Qi Zheng a call to inform him of what was going on. He then directed the ambulance to take them to the hospital where Qi Zheng was working, knowing that this place was their area.
Once Qi Ming Wei had finished his explanation, his subordinate walked over and reported that the other driver’s identity. Apparently, the man had a grudge against Qi Ming Wei. The man saw him at the airport and began to follow him around, determined to go for his life.
Qi Ming Wei’s face grew darker at the information. He gave some instructions to his subordinate and paused immediately when he heard a sound.
“Qin Yao!”
Zhang Jing immediately went over to Li Qin Yao’s side and found that the girl had fainted.
…
Li Qin Yao opened her eyes and stared back at the white ceiling above her. In a second, Zhang Jing had appeared by her side. The elderly man heaved a breath of relief upon realizing that his granddaughter-in-law was awake.
“Grandfather,” Li Qin Yao’s voice sounded hoarse.
Zhang Jing waved his hand and Assistant Huo walked over with a glass of water. Zhang Jing helped her to take a few sips and stopped when the girl shook her head, signaling that she did not want to drink more.
“Yu Han?”
Grandfather’s expression changed slightly. “He was still in the operation. They said it will be end soon.” He forced a smile and smiled. “Qin Yao, how are you feeling?”
“How long have I been here?” Li Qin Yao asked. “No. I cannot stay here. I need to go and wait for my husband.”
Zhang Jing felt a tug in his heart as he watched the way his granddaughter-in-law was trying to get off the bed. He grabbed at her hand to stop her and spoke, “No. Qin Yao. You have to stay here and rest.” He then signaled Assistant Huo to call the doctor in.
“No. I want to wait for Yu Han. I need to see him.”
“Qin Yao, you have to calm down,” Zhang Jing spoke again. “The doctor said you’re pregnant. Earlier, there were signs of miscarriage. The doctor worried that if you’re too agitated, you might…”
He was unable to finish his words.
Li Qin Yao put a palm on her stomach as she was suddenly reminded of a life growing in her stomach. Suddenly, tears streamed down on her face and she was crying silently as various thought came to her mind all at once.
However, no matter how much she told herself to calm down, Li Qin Yao found that she was unable to do so.
It was supposed to be a happy reunion between them and she was going to tell him that she was pregnant again. But, how did her husband suddenly was involved in an accident? How did he end up in the hospital?
“Yu Han will be alright,” Zhang Jing tried to comfort her. “Qi Zheng and a bunch of professionals are in the operating theater. They will do their best to help Yu Han. For now, you have to look after your body well, alright? Later, we will go and see him together. Don’t cry alright? Yu Han will blame me if he wakes up and sees you like this.”
