Loving You Too Much - Chapter 419
With only two weeks left until the baby came out, Zhang’s family members had all gathered in Y City. Zhang Yu Ying and Wei Jun Hao who was given a paid trip for their honeymoon had decided to postpone everything until the baby came out.
Because of Li Qin Yao’s pregnancy, the elders were especially worried about her condition. As compared to the last time she was pregnant with Zhang Li Xue, Li Qin Yao was too thin. If it was not for her bulging stomach, no one would guess that she was pregnant.
Fortunately, during her last check-up, Doctor Qiao had confirmed that everything with her pregnancy was alright. The baby was healthy and had turned head-down, ready to come out when the time comes.
Compared to her last pregnancy, this baby was quite behaved and did not kick around as much as the little princess.
Li Qin Yao joked that perhaps, the baby knew that he was making things difficult for his mother with her reaction and therefore, he did not move as much.
As she had entered the third trimester, Li Qin Yao nausea stopped and she was able to eat more. During this pregnancy, the food she was able to stomach was the meal cooked by her husband.
Li Qin Yao looked at the bowl of porridge that Zhang Yu Han had prepared for her and smiled. Although it does not look so good, they are what she ate almost every day during this pregnancy.
It seemed that the baby loved what Zhang Yu Han cooked the most.
Zhang Yu Han was still cooking in the kitchen when Li Qin Yao came out of the room. He watched her sat down at the dining area with difficulties and brought a bowl of porridge for her. “Come on,” He spoke as he handed the utensils to his wife. “Eat something. Then we’ll head over to the hotel, alright?”
“Hmm,” Li Qin Yao scooped at the porridge and took a mouthful. Then she looked at her husband and said, “It seemed that your cooking skills have improved so much.”
Zhang Yu Han laughed. “Is it good?”
“Un.” Li Qin Yao nodded. She ate a little bit more and suddenly noticed that the house was quiet. Usually, at this time, Zhang Li Xue would come over and sat beside her to accompany her on her meal. Now that she did not hear her daughter’s chatter, Li Qin Yao thought that it was too strange. “Where’s Li Xue?”
Zhang Yu Han pulled a chair and sat down. “My mom come over and picked her up this morning. They are planning to head over to the hotel earlier to check on the preparation. She heard that today is her great-grandfather’s birthday and was excited to help her grandmother to look at the preparation.”
It was Zhang Jing’s birthday. As everyone was in Y City at this time, they decided to have a meal together with just their family and a few of their closest friends at the hotel.
A thought crossed over her mind and Li Qin Yao stared at her husband with a wide smile on her face. “I heard that Mom and Dad had invited the Mu’s family to Grandfather’s birthday banquet as well. Aren’t you afraid that Li Xue was going to meet that little boy from the Mu’s family again?”
Zhang Yu Han’s expression turned dark as he was reminded of that stinky boy.
During Zhang Yu Ying’s wedding banquet, his daughter had made a new friend from Mu’s family. It was their first meeting, and that boy had caused his precious daughter to be bullied. Of course, Zhang Yu Han was not happy with it.
Later, he found out that the little boy had held his daughter’s hand and led her everywhere at the wedding banquet to play around. Zhang Li Xue was very happy that she had later forgotten that she was bullied not long ago.
When he had an accident and had to stay home to recuperate, his mother had come home and would babysit the little princess. Liu Hui Lan had brought out Zhang Li Xue to meet a few of her friends and later, the little princess had met the boy again.
According to his mother, the relationship between his little princess and the boy was pretty good.
What relationship?
His little princess was too young to be in any relationship, alright!
“Qin Yao, you should eat quickly. We’ll head to the hotel once you’re done, alright?” Zhang Yu Han said anxiously.
Li Qin Yao laughed upon knowing that her husband had turned into his protective father mode again.
It wasn’t hard to see what he was going to do. Zhang Yu Han would always have that frown on his face whenever a boy approached his daughter. He would stay close to his daughter and with one look on his face, any boy who had tried to approach his daughter would run away.
However, the young boy from Mu’s family was different. Even though Zhang Yu Han had given him that stern look in the past, the boy would continue to stay by Zhang Li Xue’s side to play.
Zhang Yu Han was helpless in this situation. He could not possibly scold the young boy for trying to be Zhang Li Xue’s friend, right? But he still did not like the boy to get close to his daughter!
Li Qin Yao finished her porridge and went into the room to get ready. Because she was pregnant, she did not put on too much makeup on her face. Everything was just enough to make her look presentable.
When she came out of the room, her husband was already waiting for her in his suit. She stood straight and stared at the handsome man in a daze.
Zhang Yu Han saw the look on his wife’s face and walked over towards her with a wide smile on his face. “What do you think? Am I good looking?”
A chuckle escaped her. Li Qin Yao stepped closer to adjust his necktie and took a step back. “En. Good looking.”
“Come on,” Zhang Yu Han stretched his hand towards her. “We should go now.”
“Qin Yao!” Zhang Yu Han noticed the sudden action and dashed to his wife. “What is it? Contraction?”
“En,” Li Qin Yao nodded.
When she had entered the third trimester, Li Qin Yao has been experiencing this contraction and Doctor Qiao had mentioned that she was experiencing Braxton-Hicks contraction.
After she had changed her posture, this contraction would stop.
“Let’s sit down for a while,” Zhang Yu Han suggested as he helped his wife to sit properly.
Just as he was adjusting the pillow on her back, Li Qin Yao grabbed at his arm and tightened her grip. “Zhang Yu Han, I think this time it’s a real thing.”
