“Do you want to talk” George Windsor asked in a warm and soft tone, like a father coaxing his daughter. De Xi looked at him with puffy red eyes; she nodded slightly and then stood up weakly. George Windsor slowly and carefully supported her to the sofa inside the office. After they were seated and De Xi was calm enough to explain things to him De Xi started.

“George, Bai lied to me and have been keeping me in dark for so long but I trusted him so blindly and he crushed it to dust. From past half a year he is involved in a relationship with Min Weiwei, as per New York’s business tycoon Mr.Nikolai, Bai and Min Weiwei are dating since past six years. Then what was I all along, if he was with Min Weiwei” De Xi asked as she started sobbing pitifully.

George Windsor stood up and sat beside De Xi, as he slowly patted her back in a comforting manner. “Eva stop crying for someone like him. It is not good for the child inside you” George said in frustration as he could not bare to see De Xi crying like this. For him she was a iron lady who can make her opponent die in fear.

Seeing her crying like this made his heart ache, he really regretted for letting her go when she asked him to. De Xi nodded as she wiped her tears, she indeed felt like a stupid, brainless woman crying for a man who never really loved her but also cheated on her. She looked at George gratefully as he helped her realise her mistake on time.

“Eva, I know that you are badly hurt but why not wait for Bai to explain it to you. That is your right, you deserve an explanation from him at all costs and from my understanding of Bai he is not a man who would cheat on his wife risking everything. If he was dating her all along he would have divorced you already” George said as he tried to reason out.

“I also thought the same and waited for him to explain for past six days, I knew about this news when I was back in Australia. I returned back early because of it but there seems to be no signs of him wanting to explain anything to me, instead everyone is helping him hide it from me” De Xi said in frustration and hurt.

“I understand, so what do you want to do now then. You have two options, wait for him to explain or demand for one” George said as he looked at De Xi seriously. He knew it was a tough decision for her as she already handed her heart Lu Bai unconditionally, waiting for the explanation would be torturous because everyday would be spent in guessing different situations.

But demanding for one will hurt her pride and ego, as she failed in judging the man’s character and became a fool in love. None of them was a feasible on for De Xi as either way she will be hurt without any doubt. “I will wait another day, if I don’t get an explanation before tomorrow night eight o’clock then I will leave Beijing forever” De Xi said in a determined tone.

Her weak and pitiful character a minute ago was nowhere to be seen, she changed completely back to her original character. She started thinking rationally once again, if she got an explanation after demanding it then, next will be divorce without any doubt and it will harm hers and her family’s reputation very badly.
