“I’ll have G.E. design something quickly for Selena, it will be done by tomorrow night” De Xi said as she stood up slowly and picked up her mobile. She quickly dialed to G.E. and asked him to prepare a set dress and jewellery in the Chinese style, the latter agreed and hung up immediately as he was running against time.

“Eva how about we go to the research centre together, I wanted to have a look before going back” George Windsor asked in a pleading way. He tried to act cute so as to persuade her to go with him, De Xi chuckled as how funny he looked, she was glad that she had reliable friends like them who had her back no matter what the situation calls for.

“Okay, stop acting silly. I will go with you to the research centre” De Xi said as she sighed helplessly at him. George Windsor also chuckled as he stopped acting cute as he felt awkward as well, “George when did you switch places with Noah, isn’t her the one to act this way” De Xi asked while chuckling softly in surprise.

“I learnt a trick or two from him to coax Selena and James” George Windsor said as he shrugged casually. “Neither of them are people to throw tantrums, James is always calm, I sometimes feel that even Little Treasure throws more tantrums than him” De Xi said as she sat down carefully while holding her light bump carefully.

“Actually I feel that none of our kids throws a lot of tantrums, their tantrums are once in a blue moon. As kids they are bound to throw some or else they are not kids but angels” George Windsor said as he chuckled softly, De Xi nodded in agreement as she chuckled as well. “Let’s go then” George Windsor said as he extended his hand towards her.

De Xi graciously accepted his hand and stood up slowly with his help, they then went out of her office while talking casually. Time went by and the sun was already setting, De Xi and George Windsor came out of the research centre to find the sky in twilight.

“Where do you want me to drop you” George Windsor asked as they entered his car. “Drop me back at the Old Mansion, have dinner with us. Everyone will be happy to have you” De Xi said calmly as she buckled her seatbelt properly. “I pass, I’ll just drop you but will you be alright. It was not easy for me to cheer you up” George Windsor asked as he sulked lightly.

De Xi chuckled and said, “I will be fine, I guess you are going for brother’s night tonight. Noah and Centino should be here already right” De Xi said as she checked the time on her wristwatch. “Yes, we are going for a brother’s night tonight, so I pass your family dinner invitation” George Windsor said in a dramatic way.

“You have indeed improved in dramatics looks like it is all thanks to James and Selena, your acting improved. You used to suck so much in the med school” De Xi said as she chuckled in the memory of their med school. George Windsor scoffed at first but then they burst out in a laughing fit as they were remembered of their younger days.

George Windsor quickly dropped De Xi off at the Old Mansion and left without entering the house and greeting the elders. Meeting up with his brothers was one thing but the main reason was he was angry with elders as they were the ones who set up this marriage for De Xi and were indirectly responsible for her pain as well.
