Once when he was really sick and was almost dying on the street. he was kidnapped by an illegal organization of criminals that sells human organs.
The organ syndicate had the hardest time trying to control Gantes. The kid has extraordinary survivability despite the constant beating and to the point that even chloroform is not strong enough to knock him asleep. Realizing the kid’s incredible survivability as compared to the other kids, they decided to sell him to Jagua to become a slave.
Jagua bought the young Gantes at a very cheap price. He won Gantes heart by standing as his new family and father in exchange for working for him. Jagua gave Gantes a home and in turn, trained him to become a drug carrier and dealer despite his young age.
It was also thanks to being below eighteen and his extraordinary body that Gantes can survive and escape every police chases and the harsh environment of the underground criminal society.
Feeding him with different kinds of drugs almost every day, Gantes was trained to his very limits making him an extraordinary human.
Countless years of drugs and body training made Gantes an emotionless killing machine equipped with a body that has incredible pain resistance, indomitability with any common diseases, almost unlimited stamina and sharp reflexes.
Growing incredibly strong and fast each day, Gantes ended up doing tasks that would make him mercilessly kill and torture people. He was built to punish and if possible, dispose of as many people as Jagua wished.
Gantes grew up learning the tricks of snatching, stealing, beating people and other violent tasks. He later made a name for himself in the streets of Cebu, he was famously known as the unstoppable “Little Beast of Jagua”.
All these, caused him to lose his reasoning, social sympathy, and emotions as they have long disappeared in his eyes.
He only knew two things in his life: Drug Deals and Death!
*******
“This Gantes is indeed a champion. One versus twenty men and he only ended with a small chest slice and some bleeding fists. How did you train him?” asked a middle-aged man wearing a shiny black suit. He has a cigarette in his mouth and two s.e.xy ladies clinging beside him.
He is another drug lord who based in Manila. He loves to bet on underground fighting and a drug accomplice of Jagua.
“It was a long and costly training in terms of resources brother. That kid cost me huge doses of drugs just to quench his thirst! Good thing he brings me money thru fighting, snatching and sometimes extortion.” Said Jagua proudly, Gante’s so-called “father” who is also known as a notorious criminal and drug lord in Cebu.
It was Jagua who forced the young Gantes to take on drugs with the cover of helping him to survive in the city.
Gantes was brought at a cheap price from his contacts who are members of human organs syndicate.
“Maybe I should try to train one as well. maybe I can get someone like him soon.”
“I am afraid that you will fail brother. ”
“Why do you say so? If you can do it, I can do it too.” The other man was displeased.
“You see, that boy’s natural talent is a one in a hundred million. If you want, I can sell him to you for …hmm, forty no maybe fifty?” Jagua boasted.
“Really? Fifty thousand?” The other man was doubtful.
“Fifty million.”
Pfft!–
“Are kidding me? Fifty for that little barbarian?” The other man ridiculed Jagua’s pricing. He thought that Jagua was overestimating himself too much.
“I think you are underestimating my little beast,” Jagua said with a sneer. He raised his hands and clapped twice.
It was a signal to end the fight and to call the little beast, who is still standing in the middle of the ring, to come back on his side.
