Magical Academy: Rise Of The Supreme Magic Crafstman - Chapter 469
Wallace and his small group were finally unobstructed as they rushed to the Flagship!
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Several explosions occurred not too far from them. The Mech Knights and Mech Frames nearby were battling with their lives on the line.
All their weapons were used as they are moving extremely fast in the sky… Many humanoid machines dropped to the ground and some of them even exploded to bits. Only a few pieces of them were left as they were almost disintegrated by powerful particle beams or mana spells.
The battle of these machines appears to be on equal grounds but considering the number of Mech Frames, the Meredith Empire should hold the upper hand. Their advanced technology or the explosive power of their weapons were too destructive… Not only to their targets but also to the environment.
It even feels like the empire did not suffer the nuclear explosion triggered by Wallace.
Bang! Bang!
Wallace forcefully created a hole in the barrier of the Imperial Flagship. He used almost a quarter of his Aster Core’s energy to do this which frightened him a bit. After all, he knows how much power it was!
It is equivalent to him casting ten Roar of Thundering Destruction which is the final stage of his Secret.
With such a powerful move, his action was obviously noticed by the Imperial Army. However, there’s nothing they could do but watch Wallace and his group enter the Imperial Flagship.
“I will now move alone… Everyone, create as much chaos as you can. If you think that you have done enough, escape immediately.” Wallace said to the Northern Natives. These guys were truly a blessing for Wallace.
After all, the reason why they wanted to leave the northern continent was that it was getting too dangerous and becoming more difficult for their younger generation to survive.
His offer to bring them to the southern continent using the Floating Islands, was supposedly for them to live a better life. However, while they are traveling, Wallace explained to them the invaders will come to the planet to destroy everything here.
Instead of thinking of going back to their lands, they decided to help them fight the invasion as long as Wallace would promise several things for them about the future of their race.
With Aeolia’s help, he managed to get their full trust and is now willing to do this kind of suicidal mission for him.
Of course, they were all equipped with Bio-Armors from Arians and high-tech weapons aside from their Mana Artifacts and unique fighting methods.
They have a much higher chance of survival if compared to other magicians.
The closest to them in terms of capability is the Cryptic Mages which has a different mission in this war.
“We won’t disappoint you, Sir Wallace. Please kill the imperial prince…”
“Be careful… Even if you fail, do not die. As long as the Celestial could kill the Terubs in time, our chances of killing the prince will be higher.”
The two leaders of the natives said before they scattered around.
As they have gotten close to the flagship, the CIWS of the spaceship started aiming and shooting at their group.
They can’t stay too close to each other or they will just become easy targets for the enemy’s weapon system.
Wallace nodded at their words. He no longer said anything as he entered the Flagship by creating several holes on the surface of the gigantic flagship.
He could just directly use the Void Phase to enter the spaceship but the Natives would have difficulty entering the ship.
This was why he had to create several entrances first before deciding to meet the Imperial Prince…
Whom~
He soon appeared in front of what it seems like a throne hall inside the spaceships.
The pillars in the room were all made of gold and exquisite designs on the surface…
A scarlet rug runs from the throne down through the center and splits into two paths leading out while forked banners with embellished corners swing gently from the walls.
‘Impressive…’ Wallace praised the throne hall after observing.
Between each banner hangs a torch, some of them have been lit and in turn illuminate the depictions of late rulers below them.
Vast, stained glass windows of intricate mosaics are enclosed by drapes colored the same scarlet as the banners. The curtains have been adorned with gilded linings and fine patterns.
Then, Wallace glanced at the throne where a man was sitting and was coldly looking at him.
‘Imperial Prince…’
The dignified throne of carved rock sits beneath an almost entirely close baldachin.
The throne is covered in symbolic sculptures and fixed on each of the wide armrests is a carved head of a legendary creature, a space beast if Wallace would guess.
“You’ve finally arrived.”
The imperial prince’s voice sounded calm as he observed Wallace. He doesn’t seem to be worried that he managed to enter the room unobstructed.
‘The Prince shouldn’t be weak. He has all the resources he needs in the galaxy… However, he shouldn’t be as strong as the Yorian King, right?’ Wallace thought as he ignored the prince for now.
He then used his Divine Sense to check the surrounding situation again but he didn’t find any Terubs or other aliens hiding in the corners.
His gaze landed at the handsome prince again and he couldn’t understand what’s happening.
‘Even if you’re powerful, there should be some Imperial Soldiers or Terubs that are guarding you, right? Why are you so confident?’
Wallace frowned as he had never expected that the prince would decide to face him alone.
He decided to test the waters.
He used a simple Echo Blast to destroy the throne and readied his Void Phase to move away immediately.
Boom!
The throne shattered completely but Wallace felt danger behind him… He quickly used his Void Phase and moved out of the way…
Bang!
The place he was just standing at was destroyed by the Prince’s punch!
‘So fast?!’
Wallace felt like the prince had just teleported behind him!
Then, he suddenly recalled the machine that the Imperial Flagships has!
‘It must be the spatial device they used to capture me before!’
