Magical Academy: Rise of the Supreme Magic Craftsman - Chapter 401
Ssak—
A Khrusam’s head flew off the sky while its body dropped to the ground. He’s one of the aliens in front who was caught off guard by Wallace’s sudden appearance.
The latter’s Void Phase is not just a quick movement but instantaneous movement using unexplainable magic.
Even if they have their third eyes opened, they would still miss his sudden appearance if they weren’t prepared at all.
Aside from that, since Wallace was using his full strength at the start of their battle, they didn’t have time to gather enough Death Energy from their Corpse Furnace.
Boom! Boom!
Wallace targeted the Furnace after realizing that they were easier to deal with than the aliens in the spaceships at the State of Kazan.
‘Hmph! Want to escape?’ He saw the three remaining Khrusams move back to their spaceships while the Marauder Gears and Mech Frames are covering them.
Apparently, due to the destruction of one of their Conveyor Spaceships, tons of Khrusams and Bio-Armored Soldiers started coming out of the Invader Spaceships.
Wallace started to feel that they are now planning to send out all of their forces any minute now… Because of that, he wanted to at least kill these overconfident Khrusams who charged at their backlines thinking of destroying their Mana Bomb Launchers and Elemental Turrets.
This time, he used his Silver Sphere and unleashed a series of his own Mana Spells.
Because of their shield generator, just by using his Astral Energy wouldn’t be enough unless he’s at the level of a Celestial Being.
He had to rely on the power of his spells to deal with them.
He used Traceless Oscillation to test the integrity of their shield followed by Echo Blast and Infrasonic Rays to fully expose them before using his final mana spell, a simple Mana Bullet.
He doesn’t need to use his Mana Artifact since the bullet doesn’t need a Magic Structure at all.
It is just a simple use of Arcane Link to form the mana into bullets and sending them off to his enemies.
Of course, shooting them wasn’t easy. If this was done by other Adept Mages, they wouldn’t travel fast enough to deal significant damage to their opponents.
However, because of Wallace’s Astral Energy, he could use his burst of power to send the bullets flying and create an explosive result.
Bang! Bang!
The Khrusams flying away did their best to keep their distance after getting hit by his Mana Spells. However, they were inevitably hit by his bullets since they are focusing on fleeing instead of confronting him.
Luckily, through the use of their mysterious third eyes, they manage to sense the danger and shift their bodies at the most crucial time.
Though they were still hit, they’ve managed to avoid a critical injury and survive until the Mech Frame’s large body moved in front of them…
Then, they pointed their large guns and cannons at the magicians around including Wallace.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
“Protect the Turrets and Launchers!”
Wallace ordered. Avalon heard this and let the magicians nearby know.
The young man realized that although their guns and cannons are pointed at them, they are still looking for a chance to destroy their siege weapons.
Percival quickly acted as they ensured that the weapons would not be easily destroyed while they are charging for another set of attacks.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
As expected, the Dragon’s Mech Frame used their High-Energy Beam Rifles and targeted the Elemental Turrets that are causing a lot of trouble to the Marauder Gears.
Due to the range and the fact that the turrets and launchers are stationary, they have to defend against those beams…
“Come!”
Wallace’s aura covered the entire battlefield as he unleased his remaining Astral Energy… He will be weakened after this but he would surely eliminate numerous Mech Frames from this.
Bam! Bam!
Multiple cannons and rifles were fired as they targeted the magicians and siege weapons…
Haa!
Wallace changed the directions of the beams aiming at the Siege Weapons but he was unable to save the others that were hit by the cannons and some missiles mixed in.
He can only move forward to get closer to the Mech Frames and deal with the pilots… Their Mech Frame’s Armor Tech is quite tough so he can only try to eliminate the pilots with his magic.
[ 15 Mech Frames lead by Troy Webb is coming to help our side. ]
As he was approaching one of the Mechs, he heard Avalon’s report about Troy Webb’s arrival.
Then, he felt a powerful gathering of mana as the man finished casting a very powerful Mana Spell.
“Heaven’s Treatment!”
Warm energy spread around the area as Avalon reported that the injuries of the magicians were almost instantly healed and they were even rejuvenated and ready for battle!
This is his signature skill!
“Amazing… As expected of the elites… I wonder if the other Grand Arcanists would make their move as well.”
Wallace muttered as he genuinely admires the man’s Mana Spell.
Nevertheless, he remembers that Slaine already made his move and essentially destroyed one of the Conveyor Spaceships’ engines. So it should be right to think that the other Grand Sages and Arcanists would make their move as well.
[ Beep! ]
[ Over 3000 Bio-Armored Soldiers just came out of the Invader Spaceships and still increasing. ]
[ Over 350 Khrusam Soldiers with more than 200 Corpse Furnace followed and still increasing. ]
[ Beep! ]
[ A projectile from the Imperial Flagship is coming in this direction. ]
[ 5 minutes 34 seconds ETA ]
[ Beep! ]
[ Projectile Confirmed. A member of the Terub Legion is coming. ]
“This…”
Wallace was speechless. He looked at the numerous bio-armored Soldiers.
They are still few compared to their soldiers but each of them is certainly strong. He already fought five of them at the State of Kazan and learned how troubling they are if he fought them without using his Astral Energy.
Aside from that, if they have taken stronger genetic mutations or enhancements, Combat Magicians or perhaps, even inexperienced Adept Mages would be killed while dealing with them.
“This is starting to get serious… I don’t even want to fight the Terub race for now…” Wallace muttered but he had to prepare for the worst.
