Magical Academy: Rise of the Supreme Magic Craftsman - Chapter 415
Grand Sage Maze, the owner of the only Mage Tower in Zairus, read the report detailing what has been happening within the country.
After losing her elite apprentices due to the failure of their space shuttle, she had stayed within her Tower most of the time to train new sages that would hopefully become her next successors.
Luckily, she found many promising magicians and it would only be a matter of time before these Adepts would turn into Sages.
However, the war against the aliens suddenly happened. Her Tower is not prepared to fight against the enemies. They have powerful Mana Spells and Artifacts but after seeing the battle in outer space and realizing the scale of their powers, she knows that there was no way for her magicians to win against them.
At this moment, she can only remain in her tower and pass all her legacies to the young mana practitioners. She knows that she can’t avoid the war for long so she has to ensure that her legacy wouldn’t end here.
“Lillian… Is this all the reports?” The Grand Sage asked. She looks a bit older compared to her last appearance in the public because of the stress and problems brought by her apprentices’ death.
Right now, her tanned skin shows some wrinkles and her head is getting full of white hair.
Lillian, one of her two remaining Sage disciples, looked at her master before replying.
“There are other reports about the current situation in Montego and Kazan. Would you like to check them now?”
“Hmm… Don’t bother. Let’s just focus on these two landing sites. I’ll check them if I have time.”
“I understand, Master… Are you going to teach the apprentices now?”
“That’s correct…”
The Grand Sage stood up as she walked out of the door. Lillian followed behind her as they walked to the training ground.
There are about 30 Adept Mages within the training ground and they have similar tasks with them…
They are trying to master a Killing Mana Array… It is difficult but it’s possible.
They have realized that normal Mana Spells can be endured by the armored Imperial Soldiers and the Khrusams.
Though the aliens are also taking damage, it wasn’t to the point that they’ll be unable to fight back.
This is why they needed more.
Maze realized that they have to create a decisive spell, a technique that would immediately kill their target making them unable to fight back at all.
This is where their Eight-Wave Ice-Fire Array comes in… It is a modified version of one of the Lost Technologies and they have been unable to use it before.
Apparently. they can’t complete the true technology called Ice-Fire Bomb due to several issues in the stele of the technology.
“How’s their progress?” Maze asked.
“Only five of them were have mastered it… I think it will take time for the others… If you’ll do the same method of teaching again, it might hasten their learning.”
“I understand… I’ll be helping everyone again…”
Grand Sage Maze sighed as she greeted the young Adepts.
The teaching method that allows her to share her senses with her targets can greatly help these magicians… The only problem is that she can only use this once a week or it will affect her senses permanently.
Lilian smiled wryly after hearing her Master. It appears that Maza was truly in a hurry to train these magicians.
She couldn’t blame her for that. The current situation at the border is not good even though two Grand Sages were already handling the forces of Seiji.
It would be long when their Tower would be ordered to take part in the war on the frontlines.
Beep!
[ The Council of War is looking for Grand Sage Maze or her representative. It is about the Cleansing Mission. Please coordinate with the council immediately. ]
A message from the council arrived.
Lillian expected this already but she didn’t think that it would arrive now. She sighed silently before answering their summon.
The Cleansing Mission being referred to is actually an offensive mission aiming to attack the headquarters of Seiji and destroy their communications network.
Apparently, the allied forces of Zairus, Maja, and Virgan wanted to quickly eliminate their threat while the aliens were still recuperating or being ominously silent.
They can’t have them attacking at the same time so they have to remove Seiji from the picture as quickly as possible.
Lillian can only accept her fate as she handled the communications with the Council.

In a certain mansion owned by one of the prestigious clans in Dolu City, a group of powerful individuals was having a small talk while drinking a cup of tea.
They are the high-ranking Magicians of both Vermont Clan and Skywalker Clan, the two clans that worked together to complete the Space Shuttle.
“I heard that you have recently recruited some decent magicians from Montego… Are you not willing to share some of them? I heard that your Vermont family doesn’t have enough space for them.”
“Hahaha… I’m not sure about that, we have enough space to accommodate them. Anyway, I heard that some of them participated in some international competitions and most of them were just Adepts. I don’t think that you have to be so concerned about them…”
Two middle-aged men wearing luxurious clothes were chatting on the balcony of the mansion. As they were so relaxed and carefree, it doesn’t feel like there is a war going on somewhere in their country.
“Haha… Don’t be like that… I heard that they are the Magicians who made the Mage Towers… I think it will benefit both of us if we can talk about it.”
They were people who extended help to the people of Montego who wanted to flee from their country. Especially, the Vermont Clan who only helped the elite magicians of the country.
They continued their small chats regarding their plans about these magicians until they received a notification from the Council…
It seems that they will also participate in the Cleansing Mission and they have to send their Adept Mages and Steel Knights.
“Hmm… Wait… The one who will lead us in this mission is an A.I.’s automaton? What’s going on?”
Torfinn, the Adept Magician from the Vermont Clan couldn’t help but exclaim in surprise after seeing the brief details of the mission.
