Magical Academy: Rise of the Supreme Magic Craftsman - Chapter 434
Ace’s spaceship docked on his base at Mt. Ravencroft.
His entry on this planet was done as stealthily as possible but he knows that the Empire must’ve detected his spaceship.
This is why he decided not to immediately visit his base and docked somewhere else before using his stealth mode.
After using this mode including his Arcane Technology or Optical Phenomena Manipulation, he then considered that it was already safe to go to his base.
He didn’t want to engage in battle against the aliens yet so he has to be careful.
“Avalon… How many Mesospheric Altitude Guns were made by now?”
[ Three. Because we have shifted our priority with building enough mid-class Transatmospheric Battleship, the creation of Sattelite-Class Weapons slowed down. ]
“Hmm… I can understand that. Anyway, I guess Veda is still manufacturing those Seventh Gen?”
[ Correct. At the moment, there are already 75 Adepts and Sages who had received them. ]
“Seventy-five? That’s not a lot but considering the limited time it had, it still quite impressive. Is it just focusing on that project?” Ace asked as he alighted from his spaceship.
There wasn’t anyone to welcome him since the people close to him were all on one Floating Island and the people here are all fabricators or Magic Engineers working on his Float Drive System and Mana Artifacts.
[ No, Veda is also helping with medical concerns everywhere. Without the A.I.’s help, the casualty in this war would probably increase by 15%. ] The A.I. answered.
“Ahh… You’re right, Avalon.”
Ace nodded as he was reminded that the A.I. was indeed made as a medical assistant.
Though this world has some advancement in the medical field with the Mage Doctors, Veda’s knowledge about medical science is still incomparable with the doctors here by a few centuries.
“I heard that Wallace disappeared again, is there any news about him?”
[ No. However, we were able to briefly detect that he was together with the Celestial Being before he vanished. ]
Ace paused for a moment. Though Wallace and the Celestial’s existence is very important to win the war, they seem to be doing their best to handle the main force of the Empire.
After all, he noticed that although the Empire have gathered a lot of memory crystals already, the Flagship was still not making its move to conquer the planet.
“Alright, as long as they are doing something to help us… It doesn’t matter. Let’s just do our part.”
[ Correct. The Council of War has already decided to avoid the Space Beasts for now. It appears that they are also not fully awakened yet as they decided to move to Luna Lake.
“Luna lake? Isn’t that the one near the Red Star Town?” Ace recalled the beautiful lake in their town.
[ Yes. ]
Ace sighed after confirming it. This means that their town had mostly like turned into ruins by now. Though the people there have been evacuated to other cities, the fact that their previous home was now totally destroyed would still feel bad.
“I see… Anyway, the council didn’t have plans on attacking the Space Beasts?”
[ Yes. They would leave it to your advanced tech weapons and with the help of the natives from the Northern Continent. ]
Ace smiled wryly at this. In truth, he doesn’t have that much confidence in defeating such powerful creatures. He would most likely need some kind of powerful Secret Art or Forbidden Mana Spell to kill them.
Nevertheless, since these Space Beasts weren’t those gigantic ones that he learned in his school, he should be able to do something with them.
He then proceeded to contact the people he needed to speak with to create a plan to defeat the aliens within the country.
Right now, he can’t deal with the reports he received from the investigator Elysiums that he sent outside the country.
He can’t spend his time worrying about the real situation of Julian Esmeria
***
As Ace is planning to kill the Space Beasts and the remaining aliens at Stella Region, the other countries are all in chaos as the Invader Spaceships who were supposedly just gathering memory crystals started sending out thousands of Mech Frames to create havoc in the region.
Warren, an Adept Mage living in a small town in Maja, noticed a huge shadow covering the sky…
Of course, he also heard the loud sound of the engine creating vibrations even within his small shop.
He’s selling the materials he acquired in his recent hunting. There were lots of Mana Beast Cores and parts needed for low-class Potion Brewing.
Boom!
A powerful bomb seemed to have exploded just outside their town!
“We’re under attack!”
The siren within the town finally alarmed everyone. The shadow blocking the sky is actually one of the alien’s spaceships!
“We already called for help before outside communications were cut off! Our Town’s Barrier wouldn’t last long! Everyone who can fight, take your weapons! The others will go to the shelter!”
Warren heard the town chief’s announcement. However, it doesn’t seem that they have enough time!
Boom!
A powerful beam of light destroyed the barrier protecting their town.
The attack didn’t even stop there!
It continued hitting several buildings and melting them including the people inside!
“Aaagghh!”
“Help!”
Warren realized that the situation is dire… He doesn’t have powerful magic to stop the beam of light!
Aside from that, he can also see the Mech Frames descending from the Spaceships! This is not good!
“Ahhh!” He then thought of an idea and used his largest Mystic Fog Mana Spell…
It will at least block the vision of the aliens and Mech Frames as they try to escape.
‘It would at least buy us some time… Ten seconds or even twenty seconds are valuable!’
Warren thought as he quickly took his Mana Artifacts before running away from the town.
The Town Chief and other magicians who saw his Fog thought that it was a good idea as they similarly cast the spell.
However, though it indeed blocked their vision, the Mech Frames’ Life Detection Device would still allow them to find their whereabouts!
They were quickly hunted by the Mech Frames and this is happening in every town or city where the Invader Spaceships had landed!
