Magical Academy: Rise of the Supreme Magic Craftsman - Chapter 462
Finally, Wallace’s group arrived above the Cove City.
They of course noticed the Radiant Knights following behind them but one thing that caught their attention was the humanoid light beside him.
Then, they suddenly felt some kind of energy pressing down on them! It wasn’t too strong but enough to give them a surprise.
Luckily, most of the people here are all quite experienced so none of them kneeled to the ground.
Nevertheless, they easily recognized the difference in their current strength.
“This sensation… How powerful.”
“What’s going on? It’s getting difficult to breathe… Is it really coming from that person above?”
“Yes, just steady your link to Mana and you’ll be fine.”
“That creature beside Wallace… Is that—”
“Yes… The Celestial Being!”
Grand Sage Maze, Grand Arcanist Aura, and the others finally recognized the Celestial after giving it a thought!
The being made of energy is definitely the legend of the Northern Continent! They are the strongest beings on the planet called the Celestials and seeing them here is already a great honor for them.
“Incredible! I’ve never thought I’ll see them in my lifetime!”
“This… Are they really going to help us?”
“Then, we can win this war with their assistance, right?”
“But, there’s only one Celestial. What can he do?”
“Hmph! Don’t compare him to the Terub Legion. The Celestials are definitely stronger than those golden-skinned and purple-skinned aliens!”
The various magicians couldn’t help but awe in front of the Celestial. The pressure also started subsiding as the Celestial retracted his aura.
They then saw the two descend on the ground as Ace stepped forward to greet them.
The two has finally met again after a very long time.
“It’s been a while. I heard from Avalon that you had trouble beating those members of the Yorian Race.”
Ace said as he recalled how Wallace took such a long time to get out of the ocean. There’s already a lot of things that had changed after he managed to get out.
Wallace smiled at his other self as he boasted about their accomplishments.
“That’s true, but we dealt with the Yorian King, their Strongest Fighter… I’m sure that this will be an easy win now. Only the Terubs will be the ones we have to be careful about. We need to make sure that they’ll be fighting the Celestial instead of our Sages and Adepts.”
Wallace revealed his obvious plan to ensure that everyone will know their priorities.
“Hmm… That makes sense. Don’t worry. We have time to make several plans. You’re not thinking of just charging to the Flagship, right?”
Ace then glanced at the Celestial. He wanted to speak with the Celestial Being but he felt that he shouldn’t speak to him casually.
He wanted to be introduced first so he signaled to Wallace
The latter noticed his actions but as he was about to introduce him to the Celestial, the being started dissipating!
Then, Wallace heard the Celestial’s voice telling him that he would just be exploring the lake that is not too far from here.
“Ahh!”
“He disappeared!”
“Is that only an illusion?!”
“He looks so real though!”
The magicians behind Ace exclaimed as soon as they saw the Celestial vanishing. It happened so suddenly so many of them were confused.
Anyway, Wallace explained that the Celestial just wanted to see a lake around here. From his guess, it must be the Luna Lake beside tje Red Star Town where the Space Beasts were previously camping.
‘Is there something special there?’ Wallace pondered.
As far as he recalls, aside from the redstar flower that is only able to grow in that place, there is nothing more special about it even after he searched the bottom of it with his Divine Sense.
Everyone was of course curious about it but none of them mentioned it since it involves the powerful being. They do not want to pry too much in case the Celestial became irritated with them. They do not want that to happen.
Anyway, it wasn’t important now as they also have a lot of things to do.
Ace decided to introduce him to the Grand Sages, the Grand Arcanist, and various leaders of the army so they would know the hierarchy of their newly established forces.
Right now, the true leader of the combined forces would be Wallace since he’s the trusted magician of the Celestial.
Obviously, their movement would heavily rely on the Celestial Being and only Wallace can communicate with him. It means that their Third Great Offensive or the final stage of the war would not happen without the two’s leadership.
Wallace then allowed the Grand Sages to form their battalion by restructuring the current Mage Battalions that has become quite weak because they lack some strong leaders.
They have a total of five Grand Sages so they have formed five battalions.
As for the Grand Arcanists, he wanted them to focus on supporting their mage army by helping them with their Mana Artifacts and supporting them by using their Arcana. After all, most of the strengths of the Arcanists rely on the Artifacts or Arcana that they’ve made.
Grand Arcanist Slaine is just truly different since he has obtained a piece of tablet containing the Secret Art or the Awakening of Thunder and Lightning. Without it, he could only rely on his various treasures or his creations to fight a battle.
Anyway, the Terror Mages had formed a different group just like the Northern Natives, Cryptic Mages, and the Z-Company.
The only thing is that they will still be following Wallace’s instructions on how they will join the battle later on.
The mages then organized themselves and familiarized themselves with their current unit.
In the meantime, Wallace decided to see battleships they have to ensure that they would be able to perform according to their plans.
He had also decided to check the Airships that the Veritas Wing made and he even met with the mysterious creator of the Airship.
“I’m Madoka Khurleigh. I’ve finally managed to meet you, Sir Wallace.”
Madoka is a middle-aged lady who seemed to be quite haggard with her unkempt hair and her robe filled with creases.
It feels like she had just woken up from her sleep.
Nevertheless, he could feel that she’s a hard-working person considering how she designed the Airships that most of the countries are using now.
That’s right, she had apparently sold the blueprint of her standard Airship to other countries in hopes of strengthening their forces against the alien invasion. After that, she had also created various orginal designs after getting some inspiration from his Transatmospheric Battleship to make a Flying Fortress and not just a normal passenger Airship.
“It’s my honor to meet you. However, the creation of the Battleship should be credited to Ace.”
Wallace said as he pointed at the man beside him.
Those two then chatted together as they discussed about the improvements they’ve made in the airship.
In the meantime, Wallace noticed that someone is approaching him.
Using his Divine Sense, he no longer needed to look behind him and realized that Chalice, the current leader of the Z-Company, is actually looking at him with a smile on his face.
It seems that he formed a weird connection to this person.
