Male Lead, Don’t Push, Pull! - Chapter 6
Kyle turned back.
“Prince?” Vivian met his eyes questioningly.
He sighed as he looked at Vivian’s face, who was staring at him blankly, without knowing anything.
“You’re a fool,” Kyle said, feeling a little down.
“Eh?”
“Don’t mind. Why are you here again today?”
“Ah! That’s right, did you hear it, Prince? About the admission to the Academy!”
“Yes.”
“Hehe.”
Vivian laughed like a child waiting for praise.
“If you go to the academy, you will be much freer than you are now! No matter how royal the family is, Arene’s students can’t be touched by anyone!”
‘It’s definitely a good way.’ Kyle admitted to himself.
If he enters the academy, He will live in a boarding house, so he will be outside the imperial palace.
This will naturally reduce the number of encounters with his mother.
“What do you think? Is this okay? I helped you a lot, didn’t I?”
Kyle swallowed, his throat feeling inexplicably thick. He thought he would never get away from his mother.
No one helped him at the palace. Some of the attendants noticed that Titania’s actions had gone too far, but they all chose to remain silent rather than to step forward.
In the midst of repeated neglect, Kyle learned to give up first.
However, Vivian Rosiere, who had never been very conscious of it, came forward for him.
Kyle stared at Vivian without answering. Vivian asked with a little hesitation, seemingly unsure of how to interpret his silence.
“Do you not like it because I did things my way?”
“No.” Kyle shook his head.
No matter where he went in the palace, he always wanted to get out of his mother’s shadow.
And, knowing that, Vivian brought Kyle a present like this.
He wanted to say thank you, but somehow his heart was racing and tickling.
Kyle asked something else instead.
“How did you do that? Did you persuade His Majesty the Emperor?”
“To be precise, my father did. Oh, and I’m going to enter the school with you! So, my father said he would invite the best teacher. The prince will also attend classes at my house.”
“So that’s why my mother said I should go to the Marquisate.”
“I need to pass the entrance exam, but if I study from now on….I’ll be able to do it, right?”
Kyle grinned at Vivian, who looked unsure of herself.
“You’ll have to study hard.”
“Am I good at studying? My dad told me I was a genius, too.”
“Originally, all parents think that their children are geniuses.”
“No!” Vivian muttered, blowing air into her cheeks.
“Haha.” Kyle laughed out loud because it was funny.
“Anyway, it went all well. Right, prince?”
Vivian jumped up and ran to Kyle.
The cool wind blew Vivian’s hair softly. Her hair fluttering in the sky with its light color reminded him of cotton candy.
Somehow, it seemed like a cloud was floating around his mind.
Someone seemed to be tickling him with soft feathers.
Kyle forgot the time for a moment and looked at Vivian blankly.
And after a while, he opened his mouth without realizing it, saying, “Kyle.”
“What?”
“Call me Kyle.”
Vivian opened her eyes in surprise.
Kyle spoke bluntly, feeling the heat rising in his head for some reason.
“Speak comfortably. Don’t be respectful.”
“Can I do that?”
“Yes.”
And Kyle, who had been silent for a while, added as if tossing it in as an afterthought.
“We are friends.”
Vivian´s eyes, which had grown round, curved like a crescent moon.
“Yes. Okay, Kyle!”
Vivian smiled brightly like a flower gleaming under the sun. Kyle thought involuntarily that he wanted to continue to face that smile.
***
‘We are friends.’
Hehe.
‘Call Kyle. Speak comfortably.’
Hehe.
‘Be my friend!’
Oh hehe.
‘Oh, did you ever say the last thing?’
Anyway!
I couldn’t stop laughing, even though I knew that I shouldn’t make it too obvious.
“Miss, are you happy that the prince is coming?”
Lisa, who could see me grinning alone, asked with a small smile.
Is that good or bad?
Kyle told me he is my friend.
He is a young male protagonist like a spiky hedgehog.
My inner intimacy with Kyle was already reaching for the heavens, but I was a little skeptical because it didn’t seem like Kyle.
Not only did I hear the word “friend” from Kyle’s mouth, he also told me directly to call him by his name.
Aww, my pretty little puppy. I’m so proud of you.
I told Lisa honestly how I felt.
“Yes, I like it.”
“You truly are a lady.”
Lisa smiled happily. It seemed to her like I’m happy to get along well with Kyle.
Good. Very good.
I am very satisfied with the relationship that we could gradually build up.
It was decided that the academy would start in the fall semester. It was decided because I had to take an exam and prepare for this and that.
And Kyle will stay at the Marquis of Rosiere during preparations before entering school.
This part was actually what I asked for.
I thought it would be good if Kyle could get out of Titania’s grasp as soon as possible.
Originally, when the scene of abuse is discovered, the first priority should be to isolate the victim from the perpetrator.
I felt uneasy with the idea of keeping him in Titania’s reach.
The fact that I had to go with him to the academy was a little embarrassing…., but I couldn’t help it because it happened like this.
No matter what my father had heard from the emperor, he didn’t seem to have a choice in that part.
The only way not to go to the academy is to fail the exam.
However, as my father searched for the best teachers, the fact that I would take the entrance exam had already spread here and there.
‘Could I fail the exam in such a situation?’
To fail the admission to the academy is like putting a sign on your forehead saying you are a bad idiot.
Sob.
I didn’t want to do that out of pride.
I can’t help it. Since I will be friends with Kyle for a long time, let’s just aim for the position of best friend.
Anyway!
It was decided that Kyle would come to our house, and as a result, all the people in the mansion went wild.
They couldn’t show a poor performance while a prince stayed at the estate.
In the end, they spent several days cleaning the mansion and polishing it. Thanks to them, my house suddenly became very shiny.
Everything’s perfect. Now I just have to wait for Kyle to come.
Kyle’s escape from Titania’s clutches has also sealed off the situation where he will be subjected to brutal physical punishment in the future…
‘I hope that his wounds are healed.’
Last time I saw him, his complexion didn’t look very good, so I don’t think that’s the case.
We have to treat it somehow but revealing the prince’s wounds is a sensitive issue, so it will be difficult to tell anyone easily.
If I tell my father, he can get a priest from somewhere to heal his wounds, but I wonder if that’s what Kyle wants.
Hmm, what to do.
I tilted my head and asked Lisa.
“Lisa, is there any medicine that works well for wounds?”
“Where did you get hurt?”
“No, no!”
I hurriedly waved my hands at Lisa, who was asking me in a panic.
“Just. I’m going to keep it because I might fall again while playing. Is there anything stronger than the medicine you put on my knee last time?”
“Well…I’ll look for it. Miss, if you get hurt, you must never hide it. You have to tell me. Got it?”
“Yes, of course.”
I leaned back on the chair with a little relief when Lisa said she was going to get some medicine.
Kyle’s wounds had been continuously covered for too long, so even with medicine, it would still leave a scar. But that’s unavoidable.
Kyle’s scars are difficult to erase unless you are a saint with very strong power.
Saint….
“Where is the female lead right now?”
I hope the original story starts soon and you save Kyle.

And finally, the long-awaited Kyle arrived at the Marquis of Rosiere.
“Welcome, Prince!”
“Hello.”
My father, who went out to the gate, welcomed Kyle.
I made eye contact with Kyle as he was getting off the carriage.
Standing behind my father, I waved at Kyle.
Ah. He’s laughing.
Seeing the small smile on Kyle’s face, my father asked cheerfully.
“Was it hard for you to come?”
“No way. I was comfortable with the consideration of the Marquis. More than that, this is such a nice house.”
“Haha. I’m flattered. Your Highness the Prince, I will do my best to make sure that there is no inconvenience during your stay.”
“Thank you for your hospitality.”
Kyle headed with my father into the mansion. I followed him and whispered in his ear softly.
“Kyle, come on over.”
“Yes. Hi, Vivi.” He said my name with a soft smile.
Oh my, he seems to be flirting with me.
What happened to our friendship?
As we walked through the mansion’s hallways, Kyle praised our mansion’s beauty.
Praise makes even whales dance, so my father’s face was full of pride.
I gave a thumbs up to the servants who had to suffer.
