“Father, I’m so sorry for making you wait.”

Untangling herself from the arm of the “groom”, Fan Tiffany bowed before the ordination minister of her wedding.

“It’s no problem my dear child. Were the both of you able to come to an agreement?”

The elderly priest in white robes smiled kindly at the two youngsters ȧssembled before him, as the little children by their feet pouted after being made to stand for quite some time.

“Everything has been taken care of, but Father….”

“Yes, my dear child. What is it that weighs on your mind?”

“I would like my fiancee and I to be called by our pet name when saying our oath.”

The smiled broadened on the face of the elderly priest, whose eyes twinkled with genuine happiness for the young couple whose union he was preparing to bless. Hair snowy white from old age rested on the head of the priest. The three flower girls dressed in white satin gown with basket of flowers in their hand, while the ring bearer wore a suit and bow tie, carrying plush cushion with a set of ring displayed at the center.

“What would the both of you like to be called?”

Turn from the bride to the “groom”, the priest waited to be told their names.

“Father, I want to be called NiNi baby and my fiancee is Big Wen.”
