Jiu Wei could feel sweat gathering under the suit he wore for his neighbor’s wedding, he typically didn’t go out of his way to buy fancy clothes, but because of the instruction in bold on the invitation letter which stated that guests dress nicely. That forced him to dip into his savings to get a costly well made suit. Who would have known that it would save his face!
“Sister Fan! Let’s be clear, we are not doing anything…”
“What do you mean by that?”
Fan Tiffany’s eyes narrowed as she looked closely at the man that was about to walk the aisle with her. Not a trace of smile could be seen on her face.
“You know what I mean! Do I have to spell it out for you?!”
Jiu Wei gave a harsh whisper at the glamorous woman that was hell bent on making him do as she wanted.
“Brother Wei, you need to be more clear about what you mean! How else would I know?!”
Jiu Wei suddenly felt sick to his stomach, knowing that he was about to deceive his family that was an hour away from him and also those that knew him at work. Never married in his life, he was now forced to walk the road of marriagehood.
