Marry Her if You Love Her - C2
When he had touched enough, he sighed in satisfaction and asked Li Chenbai, “What’s its name?”
“What if it’s your horse? “What name would you give it?” Li Chenbai asked instead of answering.
She tilted her head to the side and began to seriously ponder. Her soft and fine hair lightly touched his face, splitting apart at a single touch and causing a slight numbness and itchiness to appear. The youth gasped, feeling as though an ant had climbed into his heart and gently bit into his mouth.
“My favorite is kumquat, so I’m called Tangerine.” She lightly touched her ear with her index finger. “If it’s me, I’ll call it silver!”
She giggled. The camphor tree by the side of the road emitted a chilly fragrance, and her laugh resonated clearly within the tree: “Orange and silver, one yellow and one white, are the two most beloved colors in the world.” “Hey, turn left. We’ll be there by the alley over there.”
Ye Zimu patted his hand, indicating for him to look at the road. His eyes fell on the hands holding the reins, and he stretched out his fat little hands to compare them. He couldn’t help but touch the hands of the other person, exclaiming: “Wow, what beautiful hands!”
Li Chenbai didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. He hit her on the forehead and said, “You want to touch beautiful things like this?”
“That’s right!” The little girl boldly said, “This is not allowed under the circumstances. If you allow it, I would like to take a bite out of it!”
Li Chenbai laughed until his chest vibrated. He extended a finger to pull the hook with her, “Tangerine, can you promise me something? Don’t touch all the beautiful things in the future like this. If you are obedient, big brother will give you a horse like this in the future. ”
“I don’t want any other horses, I want this one.”
“Alright!” Li Chenbai held onto her little finger and shook it, watching as her eyebrows bent down and the corners of her mouth curled up to reveal her little white teeth. Her dimples were deep, and her smile was silly and warm. She also laughed happily.
After pulling the hook, Ye Chimu bent down and hugged the horse’s neck. His left cheek was rubbing against the horse’s neck with a blissful expression and his right face was rubbing against the horse again. He turned around and smiled at the dumbfounded Li Chenbai. “I did not touch it!”
That was why the hook he pulled just now was still counted!
Wei Gang fell off his horse with a thud. He twisted his waist and quickly turned back. He could not hold back his laughter as his body trembled and his face turned red.
He raised his hand to wipe the tears that had welled up from the corner of his eyes. Inadvertently, he glanced to the side and saw a few flashes of cold light in the corner of his eyes.
Suddenly, a dozen knife-masked men flew out from both sides of the alleyway. Without saying a word, they silently rushed towards them. At the same time, a cold light flashed from a Mysterious Iron Arrow that was as fast as lightning, whistling over from afar with a faint sound of wind and thunder!
Ye Zimo stared at the arrow. He was so surprised that he forgot to be afraid. He muttered to himself, “It’s … It’s too exciting.”
Li Chenbai reacted quickly. He grabbed her by the waist with one hand, covered her face with the other, and shrank back into the horse’s belly, dodging the first wave of attack. He couldn’t let anyone see her face, or it would be a huge problem for her.
In his hands, Ye Zimu was as dexterous as a rag doll. Li Chenbai quickly turned her over and threw her onto his back, ordering her in a short voice: “Hold me tight!” He then unsheathed the flexible sword tied around his waist and went up to meet the four guards with them.
Ye Zimu held tightly onto Li Chenbai’s neck with both hands, his feet wrapped around Li Chenbai’s waist, and he hugged his mother like a little monkey. On his back, he could clearly hear his breathing, which was getting heavier and heavier. He could feel his sweat slowly soaking her chest. He could clearly feel that no matter how he moved, he protected her well.
The slightly brazen Ye Zimu felt an inexplicable itch in her heart. She was extremely curious about the assassin: this might be the only adventure she had ever experienced in her life! Just what did the assassin look like? I really want to take a look.
But Li Chenbai would not let her appear! Whenever she wanted to raise her head and look at the battlefield from his shoulder, he would scold her so magically that it was as if he had eyes at the back of his head.
Their opponents consisted of a dozen people plus a crossbow. On Li Chenbai’s side, there were only five people, and Ye Wen was the one holding them back. This battle was extremely difficult for them to win. Fortunately, the alley was narrow, and it was difficult for them to execute it. Otherwise, it would be hard to say who would win.
All five of them were more or less dead. The guard Pan Yue had suffered the heaviest injuries, and his right wrist had been cut off completely. He had lost too much blood and was unconscious.
When Wei Gang finished bandaging him up, he saw that his lips were bleeding. He sighed. A good young man, his future prospects were ruined. He really didn’t want to vent his anger, so he took his blade and stabbed the bodies of every assassin that was already dead a few more times.
Li Chenbai put Ye Chimu down on the ground. As he panted, he did not forget to hold the back of her head and press her face against his neck, preventing her from seeing the bloody scene.
If she didn’t want to see it, then she didn’t want to see it. She believed that it was for her own good. Ye Zimo gave up on his curiosity and pulled Li Chenbai along. They made a left and right turn in the alley and found them a quiet well platform to clean and bandage their wounds. Then he squatted beside Li Chenbai and chattered non-stop.
“Hey, how did you provoke the assassin?”
“Grudges in the martial arts world.” Li Chenbai did not even raise his head.
“Wow, it’s so exciting! “Then who are you?”
“Sect Master Li Chenbai.”
“Martial artists, oh, you’re one of the top sects, then don’t you have a few great protectors, elders, and dozens of hall masters?”
Wei Gang was taking care of Pan Yue, who had just woken up. When he heard that his master was deceiving the little girl in all seriousness, he had even succeeded in deceiving her. He almost laughed out loud.
Li Chenbai took care of himself, pointed at the wall, and ordered Ye Chimu, “Go, go lie there!”
“Ah?” “Why?” He had only asked a few questions, but he didn’t answer if he didn’t want to. It wasn’t that big of a mistake, yet he had to think about it before answering?
Li Chenbai turned around, his eyebrows raised slightly as he looked at her expressionlessly.
The teenager was upright. Behind him was a long and quiet alleyway. The walls were mottled with moss. On the walls, there was a patch of snow. The leaves were glossy and the vines were slender. In this dark and gloomy background, his face was shining with a jade-like luster, making people want to submit to him.
Ye Zimo was so mesmerized by his lack of courage that he obediently went over to the wall to lie down.
Lee Chen Bai carried a bucket of water and walked behind her. He crouched down and grabbed her skirt and cleaned the blood off of it.
While washing, he warned, “After you get back, don’t wear this set of clothes anymore. It would be best if it burned and destroyed. Change your hairstyle, too, and stop combing this double bun. I don’t know if there are any fish that escaped from the net today, but you should be careful when entering and exiting during this period of time. ”
Ye Tianmu turned her head and looked at the boy’s jet-black hair. She saw the sandalwood cloud hairpin on his head, and then looked at his two hands immersed in the water, as well as his two slender jade-like hands holding the corner of her pink-white skirt that was being washed.
Riding on a famous horse, wearing a low-key luxurious silk dress, such a noble young man squatted on the ground and helped her wash her skirt!
She’s only twelve years old, so don’t give her such a shock!
Ye Zimu was stunned, his face flushed red, as he frantically snatched the skirt from Li Chenbai’s hands, while his brain rumbled.
When a person’s mind was in a mess, it was easy for them to do strange things. Ye Wen held his belt with both hands and took a deep breath. He then turned the belt and skirt 180 degrees so that the back part of the skirt moved forward. He said to Li Chenbai, “Look, that’s it!” Two of them rolled up their skirts, bent down, and began to wash roughly.
There was silence around her. Li Chenbai supported his forehead and chuckled, then laughed out loud.
