Martial Arts System - Chapter 392
Once Ichiro’s hair turned into beautiful white, something spectacular started happening on top of the Island of Grandmaster.
The rather cloudy sky changed, and the bright blue sky appeared with warm sun.
It wasn’t only happening on the Island of Grandmasters; instead, worldwide!
The center of all that phenomenon was Ichiro!
His body connected with the world, moving just the way he wanted.
But soon, the white hair slowly disappeared, and his previous jet black hair returned.
His glowing gray eyes disappeared, and Ichiro stopped screaming, ”Haahhh.”
”Bloodline..?” Shinu gulped and glanced at the sky, where the clouds started gathering once again.
The Grandmaster paled after thinking that he had made a mistake somewhere, but after seeing Ichiro returning to his previous condition, he quickly healed the rest of the young men.
Ichiro tried to move his limbs and managed to do it with relative ease, like he didn’t get injured in the first place.
”Amazing…” He murmured and looked at his fingers, which looked much smoother than before.
His previous injuries around his body had disappeared mysteriously.
Shinu frowned after seeing how he was acting, ‘He didn’t notice what happened to him?’
*Creak*
The door was opened, and four lovely young ladies appeared.
”Hubby!” Azura leaped through the air and landed on top of Ichiro with her breasts trapping Ichiro’s head.
”Hey, he needs rest.” The Grandmaster said sternly but only received a stinky eye from her.
”Are you fine?” She looked at his body and was fascinated that somehow his body looked to be in perfect shape.
”Yes.” Ichiro replied with a yawn, ”Little bit exhausted.”
Azura nodded and moved out of the table.
”You fought well,” Zoe said and patted his broad shoulders.
”Hmm…” Ichiro furrowed his brows and said, ”My Iron Style is weak.”
”Eh?” Azura looked stunned, and so was Shinu.
‘Did the previous defeat cause him to give up?’ Shinu thought with an anxious look, and it would be such a huge loss if it did.
”What do you mean?” Azura asked while rubbing his muscular chest.
”It’s way too incomplete.” Ichiro grabbed her soft hand and rubbed it with his thumb, ”I know I said that I want to recreate it, but I am simply not putting enough effort.”
”How are you planning to complete it?” Azura asked gently, ”With more training?”
”Yes.” Ichiro nodded, ”It’s time to return to my roots…”
”What do you mean?” Azura asked, not completely understanding what her boyfriend meant.
”Coldland is in chaos.” Ichiro slowly sat up and continued, ”We cannot live there without being chased by the reporters and getting ignored by the government.”
”Then, where should we go?” Azura asked and was ready to go wherever he was told to go, even to a whole new Continent.
”Gensa.” Ichiro said suddenly, ”Or more precisely, to the city where I was born, Irio.”
Azura widened her eyes in shock, ”You mean…”
Ichiro nodded, ”There, we can get the peace we need… I have already surpassed everyone there, so we don’t need to be afraid of getting attacked by someone stronger, and it is the best place for me to fully focus on Martial Arts and not on some nonsense.”
”I-I can meet your parents?” She asked with sparkling eyes and hugged his body tightly, ”Yes, let’s go!”
Lord, Lone, Ares, Darkel, and Avery were soon cured, and they could finally sit up.
”Ahem.” Shinu coughed and looked towards Azura and Ichiro, who were hugging.
”Hmm?” Azura frowned and glared at Shinu, making him avert his gaze.
Ichiro rested his head on Azura’s shoulder and listened to whatever Shinu had to say.
”You six will be part of the final test,” Shinu said with confidence. Seeing the battle, he knew that these six young men were the best candidates one could ask for.
”Only us six?” Lord frowned, ”Well, it will be quite a short test, then.”
”Not exactly.” Shinu said and smiled, ”There are ten others, but they were chosen already before the test even began.”
Lord, Lone, and Ares looked surprised.
Avery frowned, and Darkel only laughed.
Ichiro narrowed his eyes, ‘Ten others…’
”They are called Secret Geniuses.” Shinu saw their faces becoming even more confused, ”They are the top ten greatest geniuses in the world currently. If there was someone stronger than them, they must be hiding underground of some sort.”
”What…” Lord widened his eyes in shock, ”So… You are saying?”
Shinu nodded, ”So-called Chosen Ones were a prelude to the real test.”
”Six had to be chosen, and you six were the ones who managed to impress me.”
”When is the test..?” Lord asked and glanced at his friends and the rest of the youths in the room. It was no time for friendships. Instead, only one could be the victor.
”The test will last for several years.”
”Several years?!” Lone and Ares exclaimed.
Shinu nodded, ”After all, some of you have entered the Age of Growth, while there are few like Ichiro who haven’t.” Shinu said and sat down on the wooden chair, ”It would be unfair to decide on the leading figure without properly analyzing every single one of you.”
The Grandmaster took six papers from his pocket and gave every youth one.
”The test will last for several years, and the one who is ranked one will be the leading figure.” Shinu said and continued with a smile, ”Look at your cards; it will show your ranks.”
Lord frowned and turned his card, which showed the number 13.
Lone turned his card, and it showed the number 16.
Ares turned his card, and it showed the number 15.
”Kukuku…” Darkel looked at his card and grinned, ”14…
Avery frowned after looking at his card, which showed the number 12.
And, in Ichiro’s card, a number 11 was seen.
”You all are part of Secret Geniuses; congratulations, and I wish you all… Good luck.” Shinu stood up and left the temple with the Grandmaster.
Lord glanced at Ichiro and saw the number on his card, ”I will surpass you.” He stood up and tore the paper apart.
”Lord…” Lone and Ares looked at their childhood friend.
”Lone, Ares.” Lord took a deep breath and continued, ”Until the test is over, we won’t be friends.”
Lone and Ares stayed silent and nodded.
They also tore apart their cards.
”Kukuku…” Darkel grinned and said, ”This will be fun.”
”It’s time to leave,” Ichiro whispered to Azura.
Azura looked sad that they apparently had to spend several years on the island, but suddenly Ichiro said they should leave.
”Leave?” Azura frowned.
Ichiro frowned and looked at Azura’s confused face, ”You think we need to stay here?”
Azura nodded.
”Hah…” Ichiro covered his mouth after a laugh escaped his mouth; he smiled and kissed her soft lips before saying, ”Silly, he said that test will last several years, but didn’t talk about staying here.”
”You mean…?” Azura widened her eyes in shock.
Ichiro nodded, ”They will keep track of us, but we don’t need to stay here… It’s time to leave and visit Coldland one final time… We will visit Alena and convince her to come with us… Then it’s time to return to the place where it all began.”
