Martial Arts System - Chapter 395
*CRASH*
A black-haired youth flew through the window, sending broken pieces of glass flying around the living room.
The shadowy figure quickly turned his head around, but his vision was covered by a foot that was nearing his face.
He raised his hands and felt the kick contacting his forearms but didn’t feel like the kick made any significant impact.
”Weak!” He grabbed Ichiro’s leg and slammed him to the ground, right next to Alena’s crying figure.
”I-Ichiro!” She screamed with shock and shouted, ”Run away!”
”Nope !” Ichiro shouted back and did an explosive back kick, which contacted with the shadowy figure’s torso, who didn’t expect a counter-attack!
*CRASH!*
The shadowy figure crashed into the wooden wall with a mouthful of saliva flying out of his mouth.
”Mom!” Azura opened the front door and screamed once she saw her mother’s condition.
Alena couldn’t contain her tears anymore, and like a waterfall, the tears kept pouring down, ”A-Azura!”
Azura appeared next to her mother and hugged with her tightly.
”Let’s meet at the airport,” Ichiro whispered towards Azura, who nodded vigorously, and after taking a last hateful glance at the shadowy figure, she helped her mother to stand.
She dragged her mother behind her and rushed towards the front door.
”S-Shouldn’t we call the police?” Alena asked with a shaky voice once they left the building, ”Ichiro is in danger!”
”No, Ichiro said that we should meet at the airport. We should listen to him,” Azura said while exiting the mansion’s premises.
From the corner of his eyes, he noticed the police car, where two policemen were unconscious after Ichiro had paid them a visit.
They quickly ran away from the neighborhood and continued running straight towards the airport.
Inside the mansion.
”Ahh…” The shadowy figure grinned after seeing the beautiful black-haired girl, ”She returned… Good, that’s good.”
Ichiro appeared before him and landed a solid hit on his cheek, which sent him crashing down onto the wooden floor.
*Thud*
Ichiro made a follow-up attack and stomped down, but the shadowy figure tilted his head to the side and managed to dodge.
The shadowy figure quickly jumped up and started laughing, ”Hahahaha—”
That laughter soon died after Ichiro’s powerful punch struck him in the face, breaking his nose and several teeth.
*SPURT!*
”ARGHH!” This time, the shadowy figure didn’t look amused instead of angry.
”Boxing…” Ichiro took a boxing stance and unleashed several inhumanly quick jabs.
The jabs were so quick that the shadowy figure could only feel the wind brushing past his cheek and the solid knuckles hitting every part of his skull.
The shadowy figure staggered backwards while desperately covering his face.
*SWOOSH*
Ichiro raised his leg and did a kick that seemed like a high kick, initially aimed at the head.
But when the shadowy figure put his arms as a block, the kick changed trajectories like a whip and struck him in the shoulder.
*CRACK!*
The kick was powerful enough to dislocate his shoulder, and another scream escaped his mouth, ”Ahhhhhhhhhhh!”
His screams reached the outside of the mansion.
The two policemen, who were unconscious only a moment ago, woke up after hearing the scream.
They looked at each other with confusion and felt a sharp pain around their necks.
”D-Did we fall asleep?” One of them asked with a nervous look. If their superiors find out, it would mean the end of their careers.
Before the other policeman could say anything, both of them heard loud sounds coming from the mansion.
”Hurry, something is happening!” They both left the police car and rushed towards the mansion with their guns out from their holsters.
Inside the mansion.
The shadowy figure was on his knees.
Ichiro looked down at him and heard the distinct sound of footsteps approaching.
”Tell the one whoever commanded you to assassinate her.” Ichiro leaned and said with a chilly voice, ”We will travel to the Continent of Marq, far enough to be untouched by someone like you… Good luck on finding us.”
The shadowy figure shakily nodded.
*BAM!*
The two policemen opened the front door with a slam, but once they looked towards the living room.
They saw a destroyed living room but no soul in sight.
…
In Coldland’s airport.
Azura and Alena were standing outside the airport’s door, their features covered by thick heavy clothing.
Only moments before they reached the Airport.
They did a quick visit on the hospital, to see how Aether was doing and the doctor said that he won’t be able to wake up at least in a year.
Alena didn’t want to leave her son alone, but Azura convinced her.
Aether will be fine without them, but Alena was in a danger of dying.
With last few cries of pain, Alena and Azura left the hospital and rushed towards the airport.
The passersby’s looked at them with questioning looks.
They looked very suspicious, but they weren’t doing anything which should be intervened with.
Soon, they saw another figure appearing in the distance. His black hair could be seen clearly, while a scarf covered most of his face.
”Hubby!” Azura screamed with happiness and waved towards Ichiro.
Ichiro nodded at them once he arrived, ”Let’s go.”
Azura and Alena nodded and entered the airport after him.
”Shouldn’t we buy tickets?” Alena asked after they walked past the desk, where the tickers were being sold.
”No,” Ichiro replied.
He already told a lie that they were going to Marq.
That lie would be short-lived if he bought tickets to the Gensa. It will be painfully easy for whoever targetted them to find out where they flew to.
However, Ichiro had the plan to enter the plane.
Soon, they reached Gate Number 22; it was the Gate that led to the plane that flew to Gensa.
In front of the gate, a beautiful flight attendant was asking for the tickets.
Azura and Alena frowned. They didn’t know how Ichiro was going to enter the plane.
Once it was Ichiro’s time on the line, the flight attendant looked suspiciously at the person, who was, for some reason hiding his face.
”Excuse me.” Ichiro smiled and asked, ”A Captain called Lucas is the one piloting this plane, correct?”
”Ah, yes.” The flight attendant nodded but then asked with apparent signs of suspiciousness, ”Why are you asking?”
”Can you give this letter to him.” Ichiro took an envelope from the pocket and gave it to the flight attendant.
The flight attendant frowned, ”And, why should I do that?”
Ichiro smirked and leaned closer to whisper in her ear.
Azura and Alena looked at the scene with furrowed brows and saw how the flight attendant’s face started changing into horror.
She looked at Ichiro like he was a monster.
The envelope she was holding became much heavier in her arms, and she quickly rushed onto the plane to give the letter to Lucas.
Ichiro, with a smile, walked back to Azura.
”W-What did you say to her?” She asked.
”I only told that I was the one who fired missiles at Flight 447.” He shrugged nonchalantly, and now he only had to wait for Lucas to arrive.
