Hazel bent down to the child’s level visibly taken aback by her question. She wondered, ‘Fairy?’

Those ocean blue eyes blinked at her slowly before it tilted her head and called out again, “Fairy? Is that you?”

Hazel sucked her lips in as she thought, ‘Is it me?’

Hearing soft footsteps behind her, the cute girl in front of her turned around and shouted happily, “Brother, the fairy has awakened.”

Hazel raised her eyebrows as she looked behind the girl and saw a chubby guy running towards them. She laughed when the boy jumped to her arms, shouting happily, “Sister Fairy”

She giggled. Her giggle was a stone bouncing across a glossy lake, creating ripples of mirth where there had been none.

She knocked on the boy’s forehead softly and asked, “Where did you learn this, little Zack?”

Zack grinned widely, “From Rin”

Hazel shook her head as she wrapped her arm around the boy. She looked at him and asked, “Have you been having fun here?”

“Fun? that brat has been making a ruckus here giving heaps of work for the maids to complete.”

A snort echoed from the other end of the hall making all four of them lookup. Rin ran towards them with pursed lips and narrowed eyes making Zack gulp. Everyone knew how much of a sis-con the little prince was so he quickly moved away from Hazel’s embrace making her raise her eyebrows.

Quickly, Rin jumped onto his sister and hugged her tightly, “Sister”

She chuckled as she hugged the big baby in her arms.

When did this big baby learn to stand up for everyone?

Her eyes narrowed when she heard from Jinha how this big baby had fought with the demon. He even dared to use the power she had forbidden him to use.

‘How dare this guy uses his free time to learn a trick with his power?’

It looks like she needs to have a word with the generals here. Rin looked up happily only for his face to freeze when he saw her narrowed eyes.

He sucked his small lips in as he looked down dejectedly. He knew he was in trouble when he saw his sister’s angry face. Biting his lips, he looked at the ground aggrievedly making Hazel sigh.

Rin tightened his grip around her neck and buried his face in her neck as he mumbled continuously, “Sister…sister”

Hazel’s gaze softened when she saw his vulnerable countenance. He was still a kid and yet faced such a powerful opponent. He must have been terror-stricken and yet he faced the opponent bravely.

She rubbed his back and patted him as she murmured in a soft voice, “I’m here, Rin-Rin”

Rin’s eyes welled up in tears as he sniffed against her neck and said in a slightly trembling voice, ” You scared me”

Hazel chuckled under her breath as she looked at him and knocked his forehead.

“You are the one who scared me”

Rin held his forehead with both his chubby hands and pouted cutely.

Rin looked at Zack, who was smiling at him, and Zoya, who was glancing at him shyly and nodded excitedly.

Hazel smiled. She was really glad that he didn’t grow up like how she used to- naive and innocent to this world. She didn’t want him to

make the same mistakes she did nor feel trapped as she did. She had made sure to make it normal for Rin, to know what he is entitled to do and what his position meant. But at the same time, she managed to retain his innocent self.

But, things never go planned when Rin started showing his brilliant mind at a very small age.

‘He was just like his father’ she shook her head.

Zack hurriedly came forward towards Hazel to grab her hand when Rin slapped his hand away.

“I want to talk with my sister alone”

Zack pouted, “I also want to talk with my Fairy”

Zoya chimed in, “Me too…me too”

Rin’s face darkened when he saw these kids trying to steal his sister away from him.

Hazel ignored him as she moved her gaze from her brother to the girl standing behind Zack, who was watching her carefully. Now, that she was standing with Zack, she could see the similarity between them and recognized the girl.

She looked at Jinha and asked, “When did she arrive?”

Jinha smiled, “When I came over in a hurry to meet you. She had already awakened a day before our arrival so I thought of bringing her here.”

He looked at the kids and shrugged, “At least she would have company”

Hazel nodded. Turning towards the girl, Hazel smiled dazzlingly, “What is your name, little one?”

The girl enlarged her eyes in happiness as she stepped out of her brother’s shadow and said shyly, “Hi Fairy, my name is Zoya”

Hazel looked at the girl who was holding the ends of her skirt as she shyly stood in front of her. She asked amusedly, “Why do you call me fairy?”

Zoya smiled brightly, “My mama used to say that fairies save people at desperate times.”

“And, you saved my life. So you are my fairy”

Zack frowned, “She is my fairy”

Zoya pursed her lips as she turned to her brother and argued, “She is mine”

The siblings stared at each other angrily until a jealous voice was heard, “She is mine…my sister, alone”

Rin gritted his teeth as he glared at the siblings with his face darkened like the bottom of the ocean.

On seeing that Rin was close to exploding, Jinha coughed hiding his smile as he said, “Zack, do you only want to see her?” pointing at Hazel making her look at him confusedly.

Zack tilted his head for a second and shook his head.

“No, I want to be with both my fairies,” he said sadly.

“But she isn’t here… I have searched for her in the castle. She isn’t here”

Jinha widened his eyes as he thought, ‘Did he search through all the hundred rooms in the castle?’

Zack sighed, “Maybe the fairy has returned to her world now”

Jinha’s lips twitched as he said, “I heard she returned from her world and will be reaching the castle in some time.”

Zack looked up and asked with his eyes glistening, “What?” He hurriedly ran towards Jinha and held his clothes as he asked, “Really?”

Jinha smiled and said, “Yes… if you leave now, you might be able to welcome her”

Zack hurriedly nodded as he moved back and held his sister’s hand. He waved his hand at Hazel and said, “I am going to welcome the second fairy”

Hazel chuckled as she nodded and watched him drag his sister with her.

Zoya looked at her brother confusedly and asked, “Second fairy?”

Zack looked at her and smiled, “Yes… we have three fairies who saved our lives”

Zoya smiled cutely, “So many fairies”

The little boy looked at his sister and said, “Let’s go welcome our second fairy”

Zoya nodded as they left the room in a hurry to welcome Liz and the others in.

Hazel looked amusedly at the departing kids and laughed. She turned to Jinha and asked, “Didn’t you say that they will be here in two days?”

He shrugged as he pointed at a thing on his wrist and said, “She notified me when you were inside with Usui”

Hazel smiled and nodded. She wanted to see them too but before that, she needs to take care of something important.

Rin pouted at his sister when he saw her distracted and hogged her to himself.

“Sister, you are mine, right?”

Hazel looked helplessly at her clingy brother and was about to assure him when Jinha laughed, “Now now, you have to start learning how to share, little Rin”

She glared at Jinha making him smirk, “Else a certain mister would get very jealous and that would be a problem to your sister.”

Rin frowned as he asked, “Who?”

Jinha grinned, “Who else other than your big brother?”

Rin blinked at Jinha twice before he looked at Hazel and asked slowly, “Sister, do you love big brother now?”

Hazel raised one of her eyebrows at his question but she nodded at him making the little boy smile.

Then quickly he frowned, “I won’t allow big brother to hog you but you can love him”

Hazel sucked her lips in as she thought, ‘Yeah…like that would happen’

Rin looked at her and pointed at his cheeks, “You kissed big brother, you should kiss me also.”

Then he muttered, “Why do you have to kiss him?”

Jinha smirked, ‘I will have a good time with both of them in the future’

Hazel narrowed her eyes as she raised her hand to pinch his cheeks. Rin yelled in pain and his body shuddered when he heard her say, “Let’s talk about something else before we get to that”
