Masked Girl And Her Prince - Chapter 182 Chapter 182
“Sister !!!!”
“Princess !!!”
Rin struggled in his mother’s embrace as he warned his sister who was fighting against two guardians. He looked at his mother who was frozen in her stance as she gaped at Hazel.
His eyes moved towards Brother Jinha who was pushing his opponents away to reach Hazel but the guardians blocked his path making him scream in frustration.
Rin’s body trembled as his eyes began to turn golden much to Merlene’s horror. Merlene hurriedly shook Rin to stop him from using his power but to her dismay, she saw his eyes turn fully golden.
But just as Rin was about to make a move, he felt something brush his hair and a soft voice following it, “Don’t worry, little Rin”
The next moment, his eyes returned to normal as the loud CLINK rang across the room. Rin shook his head when he saw the figure he least expected to see, block the sword.
His big brother’s frosty voice echoed making the people standing close to them shudder.
“How gutsy of you to attack my woman”
A shocked silence soon filled the air as everyone slowly turned to look at the figure who was glowering down at the Elder. Jinha froze, his eyes wide in surprise when he saw Usui push the Elder away. A small chuckle escaped his lips.
‘What an entry!’
Hazel froze thinking that she dreamed about his voice. But it soon proved wrong, when she heard his chuckle, “Won’t you turn around, my dear?”
Her eyes widened as she swiftly turned around and gasped. Her dagger fell to the floor with a loud clatter making Usui smile widely.
“Is that too much of a surprise?”
Hazel stared at his face as tears welled up in her eyes.
How many days has it been? Why did it feel so long since she heard his voice?
She bit her lips as she tried to hold in her tears. Usu’s gaze softened seeing her face, as he knocked his forehead against hers and murmured, “Hi there”
Hazel laughed with tears flowing down her cheeks as she responded, “Hi”
Usui smiled as he caressed her face and said softly, “Sorry to keep you waiting”
Hazel nodded as she wiped her tears. He raised her head to look at Jinha who shook his head at him.
“Wait here for me. I will be back after dealing with this eyesore.”
Hazel nodded her head. Usui rubbed his finger against her cheek for a second before he turned around to deal with the man who dared to touch his woman.
He rotated his sword in his hand as he slowly walked towards the Elder. His aura slowly changing from sweetness to furious in an instant.
The Elder gritted his teeth as he raised his sword against Usui. His eyes started to turn golden as he began manipulating time magic along with his attacks.
He moved closer towards the Elder in an instant making him stagger backward. The Elder raised his sword to block his attack but another attack slammed against him.
Usui smirked as he shoved the Elder away and slashed his chest with Black Thunder. Black flames arose around him as black lines reappeared on his body.
Hazel grabbed onto him worriedly making Usui laugh in amusement. He turned towards her and said softly, “Don’t worry, I have got it under control.”
Hazel quickly searched in his eyes and let out a breath, when she saw his golden-brown orbs were shining in mirth. Slowly, Hazel let go of her hold and moved back.
Usui cracked his neck as he appeared before the Elder in an instant, startling him. The Elder’s face drained of color when he saw the black lines running along his face.
“Y-you”
He didn’t get to say another word when Usui’s fist made contact with his face. A small crack was heard before the Elder smashed against the wall.
The Elder groaned as he shook his head while holding his bleeding nose. He glared unhappily at this youth who seemed to overpower him so much. He stood up staggering on his feet as he used his entire power.
A small triangle appeared in front of his forehead making Spiros, who was left at the back, squeak, “Elder, No”
The Elder smirked as he uttered, “I don’t care what happens” Then his eyes shifted towards the kid standing away from him, gaping at him, as he continued, “He will come with us”
Spiros gritted his teeth as he quickly moved his hands to counter his spell. But he was young, he couldn’t quickly conjure his spell like the Elder who can do it with a few murmurings.
Spiros gritted his teeth as he shouted, “We never came here for him. Didn’t we agree to just meet him and return?”
The Elder laughed, “Chief, you can’t be so naive. Lady Skyla’s son should be with us.”
Spiros furrowed his brows, “My sister wouldn’t want this”
The Elder threw him a disgruntled gaze, “It doesn’t matter what she wanted. Guardians aren’t allowed to step out of our shelter.” Then he shook his head, “Chief Sakis was right…you are still naive for the position.”
Spiros widened his eyes as he muttered, “You colluded with my brother?”
The Elder laughed sarcastically, “I was never with you in the first place.”
Instantly, he let out the triangle-like attack towards Rin who stared at him blankly.
The Elder laughed, “Now our mission would be successful.”
Spiros hurriedly shouted, “Move Rin away… that attack could kill him in an instant.”
Coldness flashed through Usui’s eyes as he stood in front of the little boy and blocked the attack. But as soon as his sword met with the attack, steam formed around Usui making him furrow his brows in pain.
The Elder smirked as he panted, “You can’t stop that attack… the only one who could stop that attack was lady Skyla hahaha…”
Usui pursed his lips as he stood his ground while using his entire body strength to stop the attack. His feet were skidding as he was pushed back from the attack.
Suddenly a golden light appeared from the corner of his eyes, distracting Usui. Rin eyes turned golden as his entire body shone in a golden light. His feet rose from the ground slightly as he glided towards Usui.
The little boy touched the triangle like attack making the laugh vanish from Elder’s face. His face carried the shock he was feeling as he yelled, “Impossible”
“Impossible”
Spiros stopped his movements as he glanced at his nephew and mumbled in wonder, “How is he able to use my sister’s powers?”
Rin touched the triangle and instantly it vanished leaving an open path facing the shocked Elder. The Elder opened and closed his mouth like a fish as he sank towards the floor with his eyes looking at Rin in disbelief.
Usui hurriedly caught a hold of Rin who fainted after using his power.
He shifted him in his arms and gazed at the kid in worry to only see the kid sleeping.
Shaking his head, he looked at the Elder who kept mumbling in shock, “Lady Skyla”
Usui narrowed his eyes, as he decided it was time to end it. He moved and appeared before the mumbling Elder and kicked his stomach. The Elder was startled out of his stupor from the kick that he crashed against the pillar.
Groaning, the man lifted his eyes to see the Asura in front of him looking down at him. Black flames arose around his body and his cold gaze made the Elder feel like he was in the middle of a winter storm.
Usui walked towards him, his footsteps booming in the quiet space. The Elder shivered as he scrambled back in hopes to escape the Asura’s wrath. His fingers came in contact with the sword lying beside him. His eyes brightened as he grabbed the hilt tightly and turned towards Usui.
But before he could make a move, Usui’s sword pierced his chest, making him release the sword on his hand. The Elder glanced down at the sword buried inside his chest and looked up into Usui’s eyes. His eyes widened when he saw a smirk form on the Asura’s face and instantly black flames arose from the blade, burning his body.
The Elder screamed as the black flames burned him alive. His agonizing screams filled the room as everyone watched it happen. After a few minutes, the screams died and Usui turned around, his eyes staring at Spiros.
Spiros’s eyes flickered when he understood the meaning behind his glance. Immediately he shouted towards his followers, “Stop”
Hurriedly the guardians who were in close combat with some of the soldiers immediately left their opponents and stood behind their Chief.
Usui shook his sword, splashing the blood on the blade on the clean white marble floor. He walked forward with his eyes focused on Spiros.
An arrogant smirk marred his features as he sneered, “Even after being a Chief, you still don’t know how to stand up for yourself?”
Spiros pursed his lips as he looked at Usui pitifully.
“Even after training yourself day and night, you can’t stop a mere Elder?”
Spiros pouted, “Brother, you can’t blame me.”
