Masked Girl And Her Prince - Chapter 205 Chapter 205
He had his hands in his pockets as he stared down at the dog whose voice was getting lower and lower. The guy, who was trying to show his might, shivered under his frosty glare.
For some reason, he was feeling as if he was standing before the Devil.
Nevertheless, when he remembered how his girlfriend swooned over this guy and his face darkened.
“What are you staring at?” he shouted loudly making the crowd gasp.
Lance narrowed his eyes as he thought whether he should break his limbs or just kill him at once.
‘Ss-sss’ Seria hissed in his mind as it agreed, “Master, give that human to me. I can make a tasty meal out of it.”
Lance ignored his words. He didn’t want to create a scene the first thing on his arrival but it looked like, this guy was hell-bent on causing trouble.
Having heard enough, Lance narrowed his eyes, putting pressure on the dog whose face turned pale and lips trembled. Just before he could cut his tongue off, he heard a soft voice behind him.
“What happened?”
Lance paused causing the pressure on the dog to disappear instantly. The guy took a step back as sweat trickled down his forehead. He could feel his shirt sticking to his skin due to his sweat.
Lance turned around on hearing the familiar voice. He raised his eyebrow in surprise when his eyes landed on the woman he saw some days back.
To his amusement, he saw Hazel turning towards him with shock coursing through her eyes.
“Y-you?” Hazel pointed at him in disbelief.
How could this guy appear here of all places?
Lance’s eyes softened by a tad looking at her. He straightened his posture but didn’t retract his aura that spelled danger.
Hazel asked in wonder, “What are you doing here?”
Lance pursed his lips while Seria hissed in his mind, “Master, that young lady looks tasty now”
Lance frowned in displeasure making the surroundings drop in temperature. Hazel looked taken aback by his response.
Seria on feeling his master’s displeasure cowered as it whined small apologies.
Slowly, his frown disappeared letting everyone breathe.
Lance looked at her and opened his mouth to reply to her when he heard the annoying voice from behind him.
“President, do you know this bastard?”
Lance threw him a look making the guy jolt in fear. He looked at Hazel and pointed at him, “President, this guy has no manners. He hit on my girlfriend even challenged me to have a duel now.”
The guy looked like he found his savior as he arrogantly reported this strange guy. He even forgot how scary this guy was as he accused him.
But Lance ignored Hazel, as he looked at the guy who was smiling creepily at Hazel. His brows twitched in annoyance when he saw the flattery on the dog’s face. The guy obviously was head over heels towards her.
Disgusted by him, Lance swiftly appeared in front of him and grabbed hold of his throat. Since he wanted to die so much, Lance didn’t mind granting his wish.
Lifting him off his feet, Lance stared at him with a cold glint on his face. Tightening his hands around his neck, he asked frostily, “Any last words?”
The guy widened his eyes in horror as he tried to pry open his hands. But to no avail, he couldn’t pry his fingers off. He opened his mouth when he felt the air leave his lungs.
For some reason when he tried to attack the cold guy with his magic, he couldn’t sense the mana surrounding him leaving him defenseless.
Lance narrowed his eyes and tightened his hold in anger. Just as he was about to crush the guy’s neck, a snowy white hand appeared out of nowhere and held his arm.
Knitting his brows, Lance shifted his cold eyes to the stern emerald ones. Seria hissed in amazement as it said, “She sure has guts to touch you, Master”
“What should I do, Master? cut her arm, eat her or poison her?”
Lance furrowed his brows tighter making his displeasure known to Hazel. But she paid no regard to it as she sternly said, “Let him go”
His aura blasted, dropping the temperature around them. The cold wind along with his aura made everyone shiver to their bones.
Yet, Hazel stood there with her hand on his arm, her face as serious as before as she repeated.
“Let him go”
Lance glowered at her and asked in an icy voice, “What? Do you believe his words?”
Hazel stared at him in disbelief.
“Why should I believe his words?”
“Then why are you stopping me from killing him?” he asked frigidly.
“No killing on academy grounds” she looked at Lance and added sternly, “And, definitely not under my watch.”
Lance stared into her deep emerald eyes while Hazel calmly gazed at him in return. After a minute, Lance tsked as he threw the guy harshly to the floor.
He dusted his hands and glowered at the guy who was coughing heavily on the ground.
He swept a glance at him using those brown eyes of his that carried an indescribable pressure. With his voice cold and stern, he said, “Scram!”
The guy trembled in fear and crawled away from the devil.
Lance shifted his eyes to the woman standing before him who looked completely different from the time they met. Her hair was tied to a ponytail while she had a cloak wrapped around her tightly. Her hand on his arm was cold but it still gave a small pressure to stop his attack.
Hazel let out a breath when he let the latter go. She knew how strong this guy was and was even debating on how to stop him if he disregarded her words. But, to her surprise, he gave in.
She wanted to thank him but when she turned to look at him, he had already turned around to leave.
Hazel pursed her lips as she watched his figure slowly disappear from her vision. Jinha and the rest immediately dispersed the crowd before appearing beside her.
“Princess, how do you know him?”
