Mated to a Werecat - 7 Lucius's Point of View
As much as I hate it, I told Iris the truth. I can feel the anger she holds within her for me in waves. Her eyes kept changing from the natural sterling gray color to a clear white color, telling me that her feline self was ready to take control. I crossed my arms and stared straight at her. She was pissed. I was as well. But who could’ve told her? I thought about it, until it dunged on me. The pack doctor told her after I ran off.
I lost my train of thought when my cheek started to sting. I didn’t have time to prepare for the world to go black. Fuck. My mate just knocked me out cold. This is going to ruin my reputation if anyone finds out.

Iris’s Point of View:
I stared at my knocked out mate. I seriously just punched him straight in the face. Not only that, but I slapped him. When he wakes up, I’m going to be in real big trouble.
I sighed, putting the blanket over his body. I slowly and quietly walked out of the office and to the kitchen. What? I get hungry when I’m pissed off.
When I got back to the kitchen, the sun was starting to rise. This time, I was all alone in the kitchen. Going through the kitchen, I decided to make breakfast since everyone else will be up soon. And I was right. Not even 20 minutes goes by and people started coming into the kitchen for food.
I served everyone their meal. Even Maxwell came to eat. Lucius didn’t, since he was most likely still knocked out. But it was his fault who got him in like that in the first place.
Maxwell came over to me after finishing his meal.
“Morning Iris,” he said.
“Morning to you too Max,” I said back.
“Where’s Lucius?” he asked me.
“Most likely still knocked out on the floor in his office where I left him,” I replied, trying to clean the dishes.
“What do you mean? What happened after I left?” he asked in a scared but worried tone.
I sighed, rinsing my hands and the dishes before putting them on the rack to dry. I turned and faced Max.
“I slapped and punched him in the face,” I told him.
“And when did this happen?” he asked.
“What time does the sun rise?” I asked him.
“6:30,” he said.
“What time is it now?” I asked him.
“8:45?” he told me in a confusing tone.
“Then about 1 hour and 15 minutes ago. Care to join me outside?” I told him.
“Sure,” he replied.
We walked through the backyard, talking to each other. I’m going to be honest, I would love to have Maxwell as my mate. He’s kinder than Lucius. But I don’t have control of that.
“So… what made you punch and slap Lucius?” Maxwell asked me.
“While he was gone, he screwed another girl,” I told him with a hurt tone.
Maxwell looked furious when I told him. I was kind of scared of what he could do if someone really pissed him off.
“Maxwell? Don’t be mad. He got what he deserves,” I told him trying to calm him down.
“Iris, he shouldn’t have done that. That’s not right. I’m going to have a word with him. So excuse me for leaving you here. Come get me if you need me. I’ll be with Lucius,” he said.
Then he was off. He ran all the way back into the house and to Lucius’s office.
