Max Level Miscellaneous Character - CH 72
The old god who ruled the western sea of the continent, the tyrant of the deep sea.
An old transcendent born out of chaos and made his way to the sea, he wasn’t a demon. But his notoriety is as high as the demon.
The sea was the source of life. Taking hold of it and making it his domain, mortals could not easily rebel.
He ruled the western seas of the continent for many years. With that power, he reigned as the object of fear-mixed faith for mortals. Then it was said that he was finally defeated by the heroes who stood up and the transcendents who supported them.
The tyrant of the deep sea was no longer the ruler of the western sea of the continent. His name, which was once fearful and great, has been scattered over the years.
Now, it was only a name that appeared only in old stories for putting children to sleep or in old legends of sailors who had been told by someone.
Longer than the founding myth of the oldest kingdom that forms the Western Union Kingdom, yet there are still people who serve him.
“The heart! You mean his heart, the tyrant of the deep sea?”
When Delfino asked a question in surprise, Thomas Meyer glanced at him and answered.
“That’s right, Priest of Sanctus Populi. The heart of the Great, whom no one worships anymore.”
He continued with deep regret and anger.
“We have been looking for his heart for many years. And almost got his hands on it. But the damn Carly Hawkins stole it and hid it somewhere only he knew.”
At those words, all eyes of his party were fixed on Kyle. A descendant of pirate Carly Hawkins, he was smiling bitterly behind Thomas Meyer.
Ivan narrowed his eyes.
“Yeah, you never said that Kyle was your son or grandson.”
Thomas Meyer chuckled.
“Yes, that’s right. I have no children or grandchildren.”
He confessed that he was looking for the descendants of Carly Hawkins. That’s how he finally found Kyle.
“To find the treasure of Carly Hawkins one day, I need blood close to him. We’ve only been protecting him until then.”
Thomas Meyer’s eyes flashed a light resembling madness. It was resentment, an obsession, and hope.
“It doesn’t matter what other treasures of Carly Hawkins that you want. But we should have the heart of our father.”
“Are you trying to resurrect the tyrant of the deep sea? That evil god?”
At Delfino’s question, Thomas Meyer glared at him with sharp eyes.
“Be careful, priest, the history is always about the winner. Don’t believe that everything you know will be true.”
“What would you like to do?”
As soon as he put his answer on hold and returned to the cabin, Delfino asked. Hearing that, Ivan answered.
“I have no choice but to bend over. This ship is theirs, and the sea is their territory. If it were simply strength, we would be stronger, but that alone cannot be enough to oppose them.”
“But if you really have the heart of a tyrant of the deep sea, you can resurrect him. That is as dangerous as the summoning of any great demon.”
Ivan nodded his head as if he was right.
“Why would he have divulged such a secret so easily? He could have kept hiding.”
“that…….”
Delfino slurred his words. It wasn’t that he didn’t know. It was that he knew it all too well.
Thomas Meyer’s words were intimidating. It means that if you take your heart and go away, you will follow it to the end and take it away.
“It’s not just a verbal threat. At least they have enough power to be bothering.”
More than that, Ivan was more concerned about the other side. To be honest, I don’t know if he’s a tyrant in the deep sea or his heart, but I can only guess what he’s talking about.
An orb of the sea, a treasure containing the divinity of the old gods and dominion over the sea.
As soon as he heard those words, Irene narrowed her eyes.
“Orb of the sea? Wasn’t that a famous nonsense among pirates?”
A legendary item that is said to calm rough seas just by holding it, and conversely can cause storms in calm seas. A mystical phrase that an ordinary human could become a god of the sea if he swallowed it.
As Ivan knew, the best treasure that could be obtained in the Bladewind Isles was the Orb of the Sea. It was the first time he heard that it was actually the heart of an evil god.
Well, when did Ivan know all those little details? He was busy skipping by and raising the level.
‘But that’s not something that cults should have…’
thud!
At the same time as the boat shook violently, a strange feeling of crossing the space passed through their body. Everyone in the party knew what this meant.
