Mend My Broken Heart - Chapter 144
The years passed by in the blink of an eye. Gabrielle and Ezekiel will be turning 18 and will be entering the society.
Ezekiel could not feel the excitement as he already started to work in their company alongside with their father whereas Gabrielle found herself as a model in her mom’s modeling agency. Still, Gabrielle longed for the celebration of her turning into a young adult.
Misha and Lyndon planned secretly for the upcoming debut of their precious daughter. They made sure that all of the plans are according to her preferences and favorites.
The venue will be at a yacht and it will be sailing through the waters of Country A. They invited most of her friends and classmates and some from the modeling agency.
Ezekiel also invited his friends and some of his old classmates including his long time girlfriend, Trisha.
Lyndon invited Belle and Mikhail and Jane and Winston with their own children. Some of the executives from their company will be present as well.
Misha on the other hand, invited some of the editor-in-chiefs from the famous magazines to open up some opportunities for her daughter.
The celebration will be private and they made sure that no unnecessary troubles will arise during the celebration.
The gowns, the venue, the food and especially the cake were personally handpicked by Lyndon and Misha. They wanted their daughter to feel special and happy during their birthday celebration.
Ezekiel was left alone and with the work compiled due to the absence of his own father. He could only shook his head in frustration.
He could not even find time to have a date with Trisha. It was like wanting to shed tears but could not.

Gabrielle got up early during her most special day. Ezekiel on the other hand wanted to call a day out.
Gabrielle is happily humming a tune and she’s feeling ecstatic. After washing up, she headed downstairs for her breakfast and she’s thinking if she could ask her friends out for a massage and make over from their favorite salon.
While walking downstairs, she called one of her bestfriend, Ysa.
“What?” the other line asked grumpily. It seemed that Ysa was forcefully woken up with her call.
“I’ll be heading to the salon, want to come along?” she asked.
“Time?” the lady on the other line asked.
“Well, how about after breakfast?” Gabrielle sounded unsure. She knew that Ysa is not a morning princess.
“Okay. The usual.” then Ysa cut off the line.
Gabrielle went on to have her breakfast not minding Ysa’s attitude.
At the dining area, Lyndon is reading newspaper and Misha’s eating her breakfast. They didn’t even glance at her direction.
Her brows furrowed and sat down at the table.
“Mom… do you know what day is today?” she asked while stuffing herself.
“It’s Tuesday dear… Why? Is there something special?” Misha finally looked at her.
Devastated, Gabrielle only shook her head and not answering her mother’s question.
She could not believe that her own parents forgot her own birthday.
