- Volume 1 Chapter 10 Consortium Of Manufactures
There was no class in the afternoon so Ni Chen went to meet Lui.
Lui was spending his most of the time in study.
He was using the the previous owner library.
It seemed that he was fond of learning about every new research of this field.
If he continued to study for years then the data might decrease little bit.
There was knock on the door.
He was in kitchen preparing something to eat.
“Lui, why are home sticky these days, the holidays do not means that you become antisocial,” as soon as Lui opened the door, he met the unending complaints of his friend.
Lui noticed him from head to toe.
“First of all, tell me why are you blushing, is there anything unusual?” he knew his friends very well, that’s why they were fast friends.
“Ah, its nothing, I bumped into a girl accidentally and she got twisted her ankle, now she is fine though,” he waved his hands carelessly.
“We friends are gathering on the Mart, allowed and settled by the academy, this way we will be able to understand more about this world, what do you say? Also we are celebrating our first week in this world,”
“Did everyone agreed upon?” Lui asked.
“Yes, they are,”
“Then why are you here wasting my time, go by yourself,” Lui threw the cushion on him which he escaped.
“You know we are not going anywhere without you,” he almost begged.
“This innocence, I have to go now, you might bump again in some girl,” he teased which resulted in another blush.
They were from different world where there intimacy with the opposite s.e.x was unknown, if anyone sent proposal and it was accepted then it was greatly private matter.
They have three female friends in their group of fifteen but because of strict rules and natures, they behave like fellow disciples.
“Hurry man, we might get late,” he beckoned Lui.
They were clueless that today, Consortium of Manufactures was in the academy and they were visiting various parts of the academy.
There was rush in the open Odium Hall because various companies have set their booths for the direct interviews from the graduates of this convocation.
It was like a direct job offer by the companies.
If a company was able to hire a graduate from MicroTech Academy, its shares would immediately rise from the previous digit.
The truth was, companies set their booths not to offer the jobs but it was upto the graduates whether they wished to join the company or they wanted to run their own business.
Many students among the graduates have their established family businesses.
Consortium of Manufactures includes ten members who were visiting academy today.
There was strict rule in the academy, no primary and middle grade students were allowed to mess around this day.
All Odium Halls classes were cancelled for today for this reason.
“What are you saying Mr.Den? Academy is well strict in its rules,” his fellow objected on his question.
“Why not Mr.Mill? If we negotiate with the administration, I am pretty confident they would appreciate it,” his friend was bent on his arguments.
“But the academy have its own personal issues with this, they wanted to secure their younger talent,”
“I don’t think, it could cause any insecurity,”
“If you are insisting then I have to relate this matter to though I don’t want,”
“Some years ago, a student was presented along with the graduate on a small debate in the convocation, though he was only their to represent younger generation but he lost his mental balance due to some harsh words of a member of previous consortium, it turned out a grave issue, the member of the consortium was at fault and after the investigation we find out that his son also learn in this academy and that younger student was able to defeat his son and to revenge he insulted that younger student in front of everyone which caused him to lose his confidence forever,”
“We cancelled the license of that member but there was nothing to compensate the child,” Mill heaved a sigh.
“I am sorry, I never knew this,” he apologized for his insistence.
“Its ok, that was years before,”
Another guy of their group was hearing them.
“Mr.Mill do you know about that younger student? What happened to him?”
“He is now president of self-made auto tech, the academy nurtured him well even after the incidence, not only he gained back his confidence, he destroyed the whole manufacturing market of that man and bought all shares of his broken company, well I like that revenge,” he shrugged off his shoulders and smiled.
“What is his name by the way,?” Mr.Den asked out of curiosity.
“His name is Mu Ten,” Mr.Mill answered.
“What is this commotion suddenly,?” all they stood up.
There was sudden announcement that the Executive President Director of the MicroTech was coming in the Grand Odium Hall.
Everybody stood up from their seats to welcome him.
“We are greatly honored today to have Executive President Director of MicroTech Mr. Mu Ten here on a short visit.
The members of the Consortium gasped.
“Did we were talking about him?”
Less and less people saw him personally but they strictly followed the rules made him.
He was shining star of the academy once and now bringing the academy to its new heights.
He brought here fifteen poor disciples from poor areas, nurtured them and it was prediction that they will become the future of MicroTech.
People admit his insights and wisdom and fear his revenge.
He was standing on the peak of achievement and his friend who plotted against him get lost in the pages of history.
“Who fears when you have such courageous president of your academy, a role model itself.”
Someone said out of pure jealousy.
“Father, I wanted to take picture of him, please,” Lin insisted to her father.
“You are not allowed,”
“But only one, please,”
“I said no,”
“Father, let me,”
“Do you wanted to offend him?” he seriously looked at his daughter who was pouting now.
“Let her take Mill,” a confident yet refined voice reached to him.
Mu Ten walked closer the duo.
“You can dear, but just once,” Mu Ten winked his dearest friend Mr. Mill.
The other members of the consortium fell on the floor with a thud.
“Friend?”
Mill was the person who assured academy administration that he would help his friend gaining back what he lost, a true friend.
“Shall we have a coffee together?”
“let’s go to academy Mart then,” they walked to the academy Mart.
Group of fifteen fast friends was also there wandering in the real sense.
(Writer Note: yes, you guys caught it right, one of the strong plot of this story revolves around how true friends stands for each other, there are many sub-plots too, like revenge and many more)
