Microtech: Academy Of Idiots - Volume 1 Chapter 57 Kid You Cannot Die
Kid, You Cannot Die
The Beginning of Second Arch:
“See, you almost crashed the hacking*.” Lippizen was not enrolled in the programming, so he just turned the term upside down. Though he did not intend to use the term at all, he wanted to point out the crumbling of the small torture cell that Lui was confined in. Still, Lei Mei was trying to hack the computer system of the cell. She made a mistake in the coding; hence they were expecting a terrible outcome.
Thanks to the security team, and Dean who happened to have arrived on time. They saved the teen student, and the paramedics immediately activated and regulated the life support system.
Because of the hacking mistake, the torture cell turned into dust, and they could not secure any concrete evidence to present in the court against the possible enemies.
His fake guardian had already been sent to jail.
There will be a lengthy trial, and if there is enough evidence against him; then he would be sentenced to death for his crimes. But money can do anything in this world, MicroTech Academy possibly cannot follow this case because it would take a chunk of their resources which were reserved for the needy students.
Lui was taken to the hospital under the tight security of the academy. Mu Ten followed closely behind. He was worried after looking at the present condition of his dotted and genius student. He didn’t want to listen to any ‘ifs’ or ‘perhaps’ outcomes, nor did he want to think about it.
The best facilities were already provided. The heartbeat and pulse were weak probably as a result of Lui’s struggle under the water tank. The water had affected his lungs, too.
He was facing severe loss of blood because of the continuous electric torture he went through. After a few moments, he regained his heartbeat, but it was not stable.
His friends stood outside the intensive care unit. Some were walking around with worry while others were trying to look through the glass window.
The Dean was making phone calls to hire more expensive paramedics for the patient.
The senior doctors weren’t available for every single patient. They only look at those cases which could pay them a handsome amount matching to their experience and capability.
The hospital can provide all the latest equipment but to hire capable paramedics was up to the patient’s wallet or whoever brought the patient to the hospital.
In a few minutes, some senior and specialist GP’s came and joined.
They took charge of the patient within moments. They replaced the equipment with the latest and expelled out all the water from his lungs, and then worked hard to stabilise his heartbeat. It took them half a day before the signs that the patient was saved emerged.
Mu Ten heaved a deep breath after taking a look through the glass. He could see the power of money, and the students who were curious at the new batch of doctors were in awe. They were thankful that Dean did not value money; instead, he used pool sources to save Lui.
The hospital was under strict security though other people objected, but the Dean called the legal team to take permission from the court for this personal security, so that the hospital security staff cooperate properly.
Ni Chen, Xu Rue, Lei Mei, Lippizen and all others noticed every little detail. They walked towards the Dean to express their gratitude, “Mr Ten, if it wasn’t for you, we might have lost our friend,” Ni Chen spoke first.
Mu Ten sneered, “Lui is strong enough, and I know it is his will to live on, but he would definitely scold you all once he opens his eyes. Did you forget there are only two days left in your exams?”
Ni Chen and others lowered their shoulders. It was true, they have already used up the whole week to search for Lui. Moreover, now that he was fine, he would not listen to their excuse.
Mu Ten could see the worry on their faces. They were reluctant to go, “Lui is in safe hands now, you all should go back and prepare for your exams!” Mu Ten instructed. “And yes, Lei Mei you disappointed me!”
He stopped Lei Mei and reminded her mistake.
“How come a simple hacking was not done flawlessly? If you had been a little careful and more diligent, I might have found some concrete evidences to spot the enemy.”
It was not that he has no clue about the enemy, the only problem existed lack of evidence.
“I am sorry, Mr Ten, for my failure,” Lei Mei lowered her head in apology. She was determined to not let down the expectations of the Dean ever again after this.
“I need to talk about how you all found out where Lui was held hostage. But it will be after your exams, till then work hard and qualify for the junior high classes,” he waved his hand and sent them back.
He was here until the medics gave him a gesture that the condition of the patient was out of danger.
After the teens left, Mr Mu Ten stood up and walked in front of the glass window to take a look.
Lui finally opened his eyes. His breathing had returned to normal.
There were many wounds on his skin, from when he was running away from Tian. The glass wall broke, and the shards of glass resulted in cuts on his body. After the cuts, he was tortured.
A doctor came out of the intensive care to talk to the Dean, “The present condition of the patient is under control, and two senior medics will observe for forty-eight hours. During this, no one is allowed to disturb the patient or the staff,” he announced and went away without waiting for a reply.
A minimum of six blood units were administered within twenty-four hours. It was a necessary step even though it would fluctuate the heartbeat and condition, the senior medics were here to control everything.
“Kid, you cannot die! If I can’t directly sue our enemies, you have to find them and uncover them in the future,” the Dean said as he looked through the glass window.
He also found out some of the circ.u.mstances of the abandoned district and how it was destroyed intentionally.
