Microtech: Academy Of Idiots - Volume 1 Chapter 75 Theme Park Recreation
Theme Park Recreation
The final exams were over, and the students were relieved. They could think about the next session later, but for now, they thought to invite their friends for mini parties and have fun for a few days before the start of the new session.
Today was the day set as the recreation day. The Academy was taking the students to several theme parks. Every department was free to decide where they wanted to visit and celebrate.
Toto received the notification from Micron Manufacturers two days after. Lui, on the other hand, was preparing to stop by the Academy and follow up on the recreation day.
“Master, the company is eager to receive the inventor of the famous project. They are asking which date would be convenient for you to visit?” Toto informed him.
Lui was dressed in a casual t-shirt and custom made jeans with a pair of sneakers- the most fitting and simple one.
He was looking like a teen who took less time to decide on dress sense, but this was how he wanted to look like today- carefree and comfortable.
There was a sharp contrast between the color of the t-shirt and his eyes, which are ocean blue. They looked more prominent with the color contrast.
“It depends on how much time I need to prepare for the interview,” replied Lui. This was a rhetoric question directed at the robot-Toto who had given its consent that it would help him for the interview.
“We would probably need two days to prepare,” Toto answered back all the same.
“Then fix the date after three days,” Lui instructed. Today was recreation day, and he might spend all day in the theme park while the next two days he would prepare and then visit the company.
Toto typed the notification and sent.
Lui was ready. They exited the condominium and arrived at the Academy.
There was a large number of students standing and chatting.
The entire grounds was looking colorful with every student; all dressed in their casual dresses according to their individual choices. Unlike the standard uniform, they were free to wear whatever they wanted today.
“Hey! We’re over here,” Lippizan yelled and beckoned Lui’s attention signaling him towards them as he had spotted Lui walking towards his department thinking that his friends might be there waiting for him. Lui luckily darted his glance across the grounds and spotted the group.
He waved and smiled, walking towards them. An ample number of the students who happened to notice the security assistant curiously looked at the student who was rich enough to hire an expensive robot.
“Isn’t this the student who was poor and the Academy was giving grants for his study?” by pointing this fact, they intend to insult his background.
“Now he is showing off,” they gasped in envy.
Lui’s group was pretty famous in the Academy for creating troubles. Lui was passing close to them and caught wind of the details of their conversation.
They weren’t whispering, so he believed they intended for him to hear their murmuring.
To stop and give them a lecture on morality wasn’t his plan, so he thought just to ignore and went on his way.
He doesn’t remember if there was any proverb telling ‘once poor always poor.’
Anyone who worked hard enough could earn what he wanted.
He smirked at his friends when he met up with them.
“Buddy, you made it again. I’m very happy for you,” Ni Chen and the others each gave a thumbs up for his outstanding performance at the finals.
“I’m also happy for all of you. Now, we can declare that we have the guts to face this world?” he winked at the lot.
He was pointing to the fact that they had always been given warnings for not learning anything.
Their master shouted at them sometimes in frustration, telling them they might not be able to face this world of magic with their bone headedness. Now they were in another world and no more as dumb as they were considered to be in their previous world.
“Haha…today will be fun as well,” Xu Rue swiftly added.
Soon there was an announcement. Every department was independently deciding which place they would visit, and the instructors of the particular departments were responsible for taking care of their students. Few of his friends shared the same departments and area of study while Lui was the only one in the Climate Tech Department.
“Ah! Man, they should be assigned this day to have fun with friends,” Lippizan heard the announcement and uttered with disappointment.
This way, their groups would be separated according to their departments and who knew what the instructors would decide.
Lui shook his head; he was also disappointed. He had thought to spend the whole day with his friends and listen to their complaints and enjoy their company, but it turned out that they will be going with their respective departments.
“It’s too bad, I will be busy again for the next few days and might not be able to talk to you guys any sooner,” Lui declared.
He has already sent his appointment date to Micron, and there was no way that he could delay it any further.
“What are you going to busy with again?” Xu Rue questioned out of curiosity with creased brows.
Lui let’s out a long sigh and replied, “the project is yet to receive any manufacturing consent. I’m already late on this date. It should have been received earlier so that the industrial machine can be prepared for the abandoned district.”
Every single minute or day that passed meant a lot until the project’s already gotten recommendation and recognition get required manufacturing permission.
“Oh, I see. You should find a suitable company then begin immediately,” Xu Rue implored Lui as he could understand the situation. He was studying about the projects and their business plans. It was a great field; he literally in theory classes of business management regarding projects.
“I have decided to talk with the Micron, and see what the outcome would be,” Lui shrugged his shoulders, without facing the officials of the company, he cannot calculate anything.
“Good luck, bro. Do your best again, and I’m already proud of you,” Lippizan announced as he hugged Lui with open arms. Lippizan always remained natural and never acted overly smart. He was straightforward and simple in and out. His heart was as simple as his nature.
“Thanks, buddy,” they could hear the announcement for everyone to be with their respective departments so that instructors could bring them along to commence the next step.
They waved at each other and walked towards their different departments.
